Kakashi's pov.
Kat was sitting in my living room in her pj's and i was hiding in the bathroom afraid of what was going to happen next. i had finished my shower not that long ago and was changed but i didn't want to leave to see Kat's shocked face or anything. i take a deep breath before walking out and into the living room to see Kat's eyes closed and her laying down on the couch. i sigh a little before walking over to her and picking her up to carry her to my bed. "you could have left me there." Kat mumbles in a sleepy tone as she snuggles into my chest. i chuckle a little before laying her down on the bed and pulling the blanket around her. "you didn't look conferable there. now go back to sleep." i say before laying down next to her. she sighs a little before her breathing becomes even and light. i wrap my arms around her waist before falling asleep myself.
when i get up Kat was still asleep but she was using me as her pillow. i blush a little and if she was to wake up right now she would see it because i hadn't put my mask back on after i got out of the shower. i was about to move Kat so i could get out of bed but she wrapped her arms around my waist and rubbed her check against my chest. i sigh a little before putting my arm around her and close my eyes just enjoying the feeling. after a few minutes i open my eyes to look down at her again and run my fingers throw her hair. i loved how soft if felt and the way the light was shining off of it. there was a bang on my door and i sigh as i gently move Kat off me before pulling on my mask and a shirt. when i open the door there was Guy who looked like he was ready for a fight. "what do you want Guy?" i ask in a some what sleep tone making him take a few steps back. 'please just go away.' i think as he looks around a little nerves now. "i wanted to know if you would like to have a fight. i also wanted to talk to you about that blond girl that looks like the nine tails." Guy says. my eye widens in surprise. "why do you want to talk about Kat?" i ask as i close the door a little bit more.
"can i come in and we can talk?" Guy asks. i sigh before shaking my head no. "my house is still a mess after my mission. maybe we could meet up for tea to talk." i say before rubbing the back of my head. "i just wanted to know a little about her. she is kind of hot and i was thinking about asking her out." Guy says before striking a pose. i sigh a little before looking away from him. "i don't think you are her type Guy. now i need to get ready i have to meet my team in a hour." i say. he nods before running off and i sigh before closing the door. i lean against it before taking a deep breath and walking into my bedroom. Kat was still asleep and i give a small chuckle as i lean over her to wake her up. "Kat you need to get up. we have to meet my team in a hour." i say before shaking her a little. her eyes open and she looks confused for a few minutes before giving me a smile. "morning, Kakashi." she says before her hand shoots up and over her mouth. i chuckle a little before pulling her up from my bed. we head to the kitchen and she helps me make breakfast before we eat. when we were done Kat grabs her bag before looking at me. "you can change in the bathroom or in my room. were ever you feel more comfortable with." i say. she blushes a little before walking over to me and placing a kiss on my check. "I'm going to change in your bathroom so you can get ready in your room. thanks for offering." she says before walking to the bathroom and i head to my room to change.
Kat's pov.
once i was changes i turn on the water in Kakashi's bathroom before getting my hair wet and went to brush it only to relies that Naruto hadn't packed it or any of my hair ties. i sigh before letting my wet hair drip onto my back before putting my bag over my right shoulder. i walk out to see Kakashi who looked a little confused by my wet hair. "Kat why is your hair wet?" Kakashi asks as he walks over to me. i sigh before putting a hand up so it hit his chest to stop him from getting any closer to me. "i was going to put my hair up but Naruto didn't put a brush or my hair ties in my bag. i guess i need to go home before i do anything else." i say before running a hand throw my wet hair. 'maybe it would get all wavy if i keep doing this.' i think as i walk to the door with Kakashi right behind me. "then let's go so you can get ready." Kakashi says before grabbing my hand. we leave and head to Naruto's house but no one notices that Kakashi was holding my hand. once we get there i open the door and Kakashi follows me into the house. "you can sit on the couch until i'm ready to go if you want or you can leave." i say before i start to Naruto's bedroom.
when i open the bedroom door i see Naruto still asleep on the bed with a pillow held tight in his arms. i sigh before walking over to the bed after putting my bag down where it goes. i pull the pillow away from him and Naruto follows it onto the ground hitting it hard making him wake up. "big sis your home!" Naruto shouts and throws his arms around me.i push him down before walking over to where my brush was and pick it up. "get ready to go. i need to do my hair." i say before walking out of the room to see Kakashi standing next to the couch. "i take it Naruto wasn't awake yet?" Kakashi asks as he follows me over to the bathroom. "yep." i say popping the p. "well he must have stayed up late worrying about you." Kakashi says as he watches me brush out my hair before i pull it up so it covered my tattoo but keeps my hair off my neck. we walk back into the living room a few minutes before Naruto comes running out with his head band in his mouth and his jacket in his hand as he pulls down his shirt. "really Naruto?" i ask as i walk over and straighten him out. now that he looked presentable we leave. "Kakashi-sensei i'm glad that you made sure big sis was ok. she didn't look so good last night." Naruto says as we walk. i giggle a little because Kakashi had lied a little to Naruto. i stop when i see a familiar ugly green jumpsuit up ahead of us. i groan a little before looking around to see if we could walk another way so i didn't run into that man.
"you ok big sis?" Naruto asks as he grabs my hand pulling me to a stop and so my back was to the person i didn't want to talk to. Kakashi sighs before disappearing but he had given me a smile before leaving. "i'm fine Naruto i just forgot about doing something yesterday is all." i say before putting a hand up to my head. i look behind me to see that Guy wasn't there anymore and we were running late. "we are going to be late and Sakura will get mad at me." Naruto says before grabbing my hand before we run to where team 7 was to meet. i sigh as i look around because i know what was going to happen soon. the chunin exams. we wait for two hours before Kakashi shows up. he smiles at his team before telling them about the exams and giving his team the day off. Naruto and Sakura walk off after Naruto tells me he will see me later. i sigh before walking to the training ground i had been in yesterday. i was going to try walking on water because i know that would help my chakra control. i was just about to put my foot on the water when i stop and look around. i felt like i was being watched and it wasn't Kakashi who was doing it.
'i guess i might not do that. i will stick with the trees until Kakashi comes to check on me if he does today.' i think before walking away from the water and over to the big tree. i walk up to the branch that Kakashi and i had sat in the other day. i sigh before looking around because that feeling of being watched was still there. i was just about to drop out of the tree when i see Kakashi and Guy walking together talking. Kakashi looked unhappy about whatever Guy was saying so i decide i would go back to climbing the tree and if i feel then Kakashi would be there to help me. i was about halfway up from that branch before i started to lose it. i give a small yell as i started to fall and land hard on my back where pain blossomed in the middle of my back. "Kat?!" Kakashi yells as he and Guy rush over to where i was. "hey Kakashi, i guess i fell out of the tree again." i say as i start to sit up but my back hurt more than i thought. Kakashi's hand was on my back as he helped me sit up before getting me to sit against the tree. "are you ok?" Guy asks as he leans over me. i nod before looking away from him and up the tree i had just fallen.
"i'm fine. i just keep having this weird feeling." i say before looking at Kakashi. he frowns a little before sitting down across from me. "what kind of weird feeling?" Kakashi asks as he looks me over to see how hurt i really was. Guy sits next to Kakashi and they both had a worried look on their faces. "like i'm being watched. i was going to work on walking on water to see how good my chakra control was but felt like i was being watched at first i thought i was you Kakashi coming to check up on me like you sometimes do but when you didn't come say anything i felt like something was wrong so i decide to climb this tree instead. guess that was a silly mistake on my part." i say before giving him a small smile. Kakashi sighs a little before looking around to see if there was anyone else around. he frowns a little before standing up and walking closer to me. "let's get you up and walking to make sure your not to hurt." Kakashi says as he holds out his hand to me. i nod and take his hand letting him pull me up. my back didn't hurt as much anymore but there was a small twinge of pain as i started to walk. i hiss in pain and i could feel 2 hands on my back. one was on my lower back the other was in the middle. i look at the arms around me and realize that Kakashi's hand was on my lower back and Guy's was in the middle.
"I'm ok. it's just a little pain, nothing i can't handle." i say as i pull away from them. Guy opens his mouth to say something but Kakashi nods his head knowing better than to fight with me. "Kakashi shouldn't we take her to the hospital or something?" Guy asks as he looks at me with a little worry. "if Kat says she is fine then she is." Kakashi says before shrugging his shoulders. the pain was gone now but there was no way i would be trying to climb trees for the rest of the day so maybe i would head to the library or whatever. i sigh before turning to look at the two men who were watching me carefully. "I'm fine Kakashi, thanks for the help. i'm going to head to the library or maybe home." i say before giving them a big smile. i turns as if to walk away but then felt hands on my shoulder as they hold me in place. i looks behind myself to see Guy with both his hands on me stopping me from going anywhere. "are you sure you are alright?" Guy asks as he starts to rub little circles into my right arm. i pull away trying to hide my look of disgust on my face. "i'm fine really." i say in a slow calm tone trying to keep myself from attacking this crazy man. Kakashi walks over and taps Guy's arm. "i told you if she says she's fine she is. besides don't you have to go meet your team in 10 minutes?" Kakashi asks and Guy pales before he runs away from us yelling something about his power of youth.
i was left to stand there facing Kakashi who i was sure had been pretty mad before i had fallen out of that tree. "how about i walk you home? were you just saying you were fine to get Guy to leave you alone?" Kakashi asks before holding out his hand for me. i take his hand before looking around because i still felt like i was being watched. "i am fine really. but Guy has always kind of creeps me out." i say before looking at the ground not wanting to make eye contact with Kakashi. he chuckles as we walk and he squeezed my hand a little. "i can understand that. he kind of creeps me out on occasion as well." Kakashi says. i smile at this and look up at Kakashi who was giving me a close eyed smile. we make it to Naruto's apartment and we stand there in silence for a few minutes. "do you want to come in? i feel bad for taking up your time like this so why don't you come in for a drink or maybe over later for dinner?" i say as a blush starts to form on my face. "a drink will be fine." Kakashi says and he follows me into the house. i walk around to make sure Naruto isn't home in case Kakashi wants to do something crazy like kiss me.
Naruto's pov.
i was walking home when i decide to stop and get something sweet for Kat. she had told me once that she loves chocolate so i deiced to stop and get her some to make up running away from her after Kakashi-sensei told us we could leave. once i have the chocolate i run home hoping to get there before she did but when i opened the door i see Kakashi-sensei and Kat sitting on the couch talking. they hadn't noticed me yet and Kakashi-sensei was holding her hand as they talked. after a few minutes he holds up her hand and kisses it which confuses me a little. "Naruto how long are you going to stand there?" Kat asks as she looks up at me. her face was bright red and Kakashi-sensei turns to look at me before giving a close eyed smile. "we know you were standing there. i wanted to see what you would do." Kakashi-sensei says as he lets Kat's hand go before standings up. Kat stands as well before they both walk over to me. "hey big sis i got you something." i say before smiling myself. Kakashi-sensei leaves and i was now alone with Kat who wouldn't look at me. "Kat?" i ask before walking over to her and grabbing her arm. "sorry Naruto i was just thinking of something." Kat says before turning and giving me a big smile. i give her the chocolate which she takes before giving me a hug. we then sit there and talk for a while before Kat makes us dinner.
we were half way throw dinner when Kat jumps up and runs from the room. i was a little worried about her so i went to follow her but stopped when i heard a small whimper of pain coming from the bathroom. "Kat are you ok?" i ask as i knock on the door. she doesn't answer and i wanted to brake down the door to help her. i walk around for a half hour listening to Kat whimper and give small moans of pain before thinking of what to do. i run out of my house screaming for Kakashi-sensei. i was about 4 or 5 blocks from my house when he poops up next to me and i run over to him. "Kakashi-sensei Kat needed help!" i yell before running to my house not really paying much attention to if he was following me or not. when i get there i walk back over to the bathroom only to see the door open and Kat laying on the ground curled up looking pale and with blood coming out of her mouth. Kakashi-sensei pushes me out of the way before walking in to pick up Kat to look her over. he didn't say any thing but from the look on his face i could tell that something was wrong with Kat. "Kakashi-sensei is Kat going to be ok?" i ask as i take a small step back to give them a little room.
Kat's pov.
there was pain in my back and i felt sick. when i was younger i had taken a pretty bad fall that had broken ribs and back. the doctors said i would never walk again but u had healed and was walking around. i ran from the table leaving a panicked and confused Naruto behind. i didn't want him to see me get sick from the pain that i had felt earlier. i guess that fall had hurt me more than i thought and when i was trying to lay on the floor my legs gave out and i hit my head hard on the tub causing blood to fill my mouth. after laying on the ground for a while i had the strength to open the bathroom door so i could go to the kitchen and get some water but i couldn't walk far and ended up laying back down where i had been. "Naruto?" i gasp but there was no answer. i was just about to try again when Kakashi's worried face was close to mine and he was looking me over. he didn't say a word as his hand gently runs over my back. "Kakashi-sensei is Kat going to be ok?" Naruto asks worry leaking into his tone which makes me feel bad. "i don't know Naruto. i think we should take her to the hospital." Kakashi say as he gently lifts me up. i hiss in pain as my back move in a way that sends pain throw my body. it felt like i had broken my back in the same place or possibly fractured it. "Kat everything is going to be ok." Kakashi says as he runs. i couldn't find my voice and was starting to wonder if i had ever talked before. "Big sis everything is going to be fine. Believe it! you can't be hurt to bad because your so strong." Naruto says as he runs next to Kakashi and i give hims a small smile.
"Thank you." i gasp between shooting pain. i should have kept my mouth shut because of the look on Kakashi's face. when we get to the hospital i was put on a bed and taken away from Kakashi and Naruto who both looked really worried. i don't know what was going on because everything was a little fuzzy after they gave me a shot and i knew they we checking all over before i gave a blood curling scream as they pushed on my lower back. 'i can't do things like that. Kakashi and Naruto might thing that i am dieing.' i think as they started to work on my back. i passed out from the pain that i was in and the last thing that went throw my mine was please let me live throw this.
Kakashi's pov.
i was worried about Kat and as i sat there by Naruto who was looking around worry on his face. a doctor comes out and walks over to us. "are you two that brought in that girl Kat?" he ask and Naruto jumps up from his seat. "we are. how is she doing?" i ask as i pull Naruto back into his seat. the doctor shakes his head a little. "she fractured some bones. it will take a few hours to heal her but there was damage done to them before that never got fixed properly so it might take longer that we think. we also found some old injuries to her ribs that need to be fixed and her lower leg has some muscles pulled." the doctor says before looking up at us. he had a little worried look as his eyes looked over Naruto. "Naruto why don't you go back to your house and get some cloths for Kat to change into is she has to stay overnight." i say. Naruto nods before running off which makes the doctor relax a little. "will she make it throw this?" i ask now that the doctor was more relaxed. "she should. i wish i had her medical records from before. do you know of any injurers that she has had before now?" the doctor asks. i shake my head not knowing things like that because she had never told me. 'i'm a bad boyfriend for not knowing these kinds of things.' i think.
"can i go see her?" i ask as i run my hand throw my hair and the doctor looks at the ground. "not yet. we are still working on helping her. if you could get any information about her going to the hospital before this then it could help us out more." the doctor says. i nod before he walks away. i run my hand throw my hair a few more times as i think about how i could get anything that would help Kat. 'she had a bag with her when she first got here and said everything important was in there. maybe it had her medical records in it that would help the hospital.' i think before getting up. i was about to leave when Naruto came running in her big bag that she had when she first got here. "i thought that Kat might want stuff out of her bag. she hide it in my closet and i never opened it." Naruto says. i was about to open the bag when the doctor came out. "She's awake and asking to see Kakashi." he says. i nod and pick up her bag before giving Naruto a smile. "she's going to be alright. once she is better i will come and get you so you can see her." i say which makes him smile. i follow him into a room and give a small sigh when i see Kat. "Kat how are you feeling?" the doctor asks as i take her hand. "in pain. it's not as bad as the first time i broke my back." Kat says in a rough voice. it was like she hadn't had anything to drink in years.
"Kakashi is that my bag?" she asks as she nods at it. "yes, Naruto thought you might need something out of it so he brought it here." i say before setting the bag in my lap so i could lean forward a little more. "good open it up so i can get my medical records out. it's....." she says before hissing in pain as someone puts more pressure on her back. i open her bag and she reaches out to it so i hold it up for her to dig throw until she pulls out a folder. "here." she gasp before she just about lost her hold on the folder. i take it from her and she gives me a half hearted smile before grabbing my free hand. "tell Naruto to go home and i will be fine. i don't want him to worry to much about me." she says. i nod my head as the doctor takes the folder from my hand before looking throw it. i was about to go when her hold on her hand tightens on mine. "Kakashi please come back when your done convincing him to go home." she says before she closes her eyes as a pained look crosses her face.
