LeAnn's POV
"I got to go." I said to Cece as I slipped on my boots
"Forgot to put your alarm?" Cece chucklcar
"Yes, yesterday at n-I just forgot ok." I said putting on my leather jacket
"You look hot girl." Cece teased I chuckled. I was wearing a gray shirt with my black leather jacket and a burgendi scarf along with my black jeans, a cheetah bracelet and my ear rings. And of course my brown boots
"I have to ask Noah if I have to wear skirts and stuff or if I can go normal." I said grabbing an apple
"I'm gonna take you because I need the car later." Cece said grabbing the keys I nodded
"Lets go!" I yelled running out the house. She came out and drove off
"And do you like your job so far?" Cece asked turning a right I nodded
"Yea it's not that hard." I shrugged
"Well at least you finally got a job." She teased I rolled my eyes and chuckled
"Right here." I said pointing to a building with 13 floors
"Damn." She said parking the car I nodded
"You'll pick me up right?" I asked getting out of the car
"I make no promises!" She yelled driving off I rolled my eyes. I checked the time to see it's six forty six
"Shit." I mumbled running into the building and grabbing my bag
"Morning." I said to the desk lady
"Morning." She said filing her nails I scoffed and got on the elevator. Ding
The door opened and I ran to Mr. Gamez office
"Sorry I'm late." I said putting my bag on my desk
"It's ok I just got here." He chuckled I smiled
"Good, I have one question." I said tucking a strand of hair behind my ear he nodded
"Do I have to wear heels or dresses?" I asked he chuckled
"Whatever is comfortable with you." He said
"You could wear converse for all I care, as long as you do your job right." He smiled
"I'm not my father who wants girls in skin tight dresses." He rolled his eyes
"Good to know." I chuckled
"And what happened? Did you sleep late last night?" He asked grabbing a pen
"No it's just I forgot to set my alarm." I said he nodded
"That's happened to me way more times than I can count." He laughed
"Oh and a friend of mine is coming over for a business lunch and I want you to come." He said I nodded
"You may sit." He chuckled I blushed and sat down at my desk
"You look beautiful by the way." He said. I looked up at him and smiled
"Thanks, you look really handsome in that suit." I said awkwardly he laughed
"Thanks." He chuckled I blushed and looked down
"So what time is this friend of yours coming and why do I have to go?" I asked
"Well...it's a business lunch as in it has to do with Gamez Industries and I need you to write down notes and see if the offer he's offering is good." He explained. I nodded and smiled
"Oh and he's coming in an hour." He said typing something in his laptop I just nodded and let him do his job and I did mine
"Oh and can you look at these?" He asked standing up and bringing me a pile of papers
"Yea." I nodded grabbing them from him
"I'm gonna make a call I'll be back yea?" He said I nodded. I started reading the papers and eventually memorized everything. I checked the time to see an hour has already passed and Noah isn't back
"Sorry you ready?" He asked walking in I nodded and stood up
"Ok grab a notebook and pen and come with me." He said grabbing his laptop I nodded and quickly grabbed them
"Let's go." He said I followed him and we got in the elevator
"We're gonna take my car is that good?" He asked as we walked out the building
"Yea." I nodded he opened his car door for me I smiled
"Thank you." I said
"You're very welcome." He said and closed the door. He walked over to his side and got in
"Ok so if you think it's a good offer you tell me ok?" He said
"Yea buy what's this about exactly?" I asked
"Did you read the files I gave you?" He asked I nodded
"We're thinking of building another Gamez Industries here but we need a good alliance you get me?" He asked driving off
"Yea so you want a trustworthy alliance who won't betray or steal from you." I said
"Exactly." He nodded
"So this friend of yours does he own his own Industries or is he just beginning?" I asked him
"Just beginning." He replied. I nodded
About five minutes of driving we reached a cute little coffee shop. He opened the door for me and I thanked him
"He said he's wearing black." Noah chuckled
"And did you tell him your wearing grey?" I raised a brow
"Touché LeAnn." He said I chuckled
"Ahh there he is." He said pointing to a guy who was ok his phone. We walked over to him. He looked at us. And I swear if I would've had water in my mouth I would've spit it out
"Hey Crawford." Noah said pulling a chair out for me
"Thank you." I mumbled sitting down
"Crawford this is my secretary LeAnn she's gonna say if this offer of yours is good or not." Noah said in a serious tone
"And when did you get more tattoos?" Noah added
"About three months ago." Crawford replied Noah nodded
"Alright so let's get down to business." Noah said
"Agreed." Crawford said looking at me but then back to him
"So you know I trust you but my dad? That's a whole other story." Noah said Crawford chuckled and nodded. I opened my notebook
"So if you say you have enough money to build the Industry yourself why don't you just make your own?" Noah asked
"Well I'm new at this, I think it'd be good if I had a right hand yanno?" Crawford said Noah nodded. About an hour later we decided to go back to Noah's office and discuss it where nobody but us hear
I sat in my desk and let them talk. I don't want to be near Crawford.
So that's what he meant by see you later?
"Lee can you get us some coffee?" Noah asked
"Yes sir." I nodded and stood up he chuckled
"Don't call me sir I'm not that old." He joked I chuckled
"Sorry..Noah." I said he smiled and nodded. From the corner of my eye I could see Crawford glaring at him
"So how would you like your coffees?" I asked
"I mean I know Noah's is all black but what about you Crawford?" I asked saying his name harshly. He looked at me and frowned
"With milk." Crawford smirked
"Coming right up." I said gritting my teeth
I walked out and made my way towards the lounge. I made their coffees and went back
"Seems good." Noah said as I walked
"Here's your coffees." I said walking towards them
"With milk for Mr. Crawford and black for Mr. Gamez." I said giving them their coffees
"Thanks Lee." Crawford said I gave him a fake smile
"Thanks Lee." Noah said just that this time I gave him a real smile
"I'll be in my desk if you need anything." I said to him. He nodded I walked over to my desk and sat down
"It's gonna be a long day." I mumbled to myself
***5 Hours Later***
~~Coming Out Of Work~~
"Come on Cece pick up." I mumbled
"The p-I clicked and groaned
Why doesn't she answer?!
"Want me to take you home?" A voice said I rurned around to see Crawford I scoffed
"No thanks." I said to him
"Aww come on it's obvious no one is picking you up any time soon." He said and crosses his arms
"Then I'll wait." I crossed my arms also
"LeAnn stop being so stubborn." He said grabbing my hand I chose to ignore the tingling sensation
"I'm not being stubborn my mom taught me not to get in a car with a stranger." I spat and broke away from his grip
"Stranger? LeAnn we dated." He scoffed
"You said you just wanted to get in my pants." I snapped
"I lied ok?" He said I rolled my eyes
"Why don't you go back to Canada?" I asked
"Because I'm here for something and I'm not leaving without it." He said
"And what is that something?" I asked
"You." He said my heart started beating faster

He's just playing with you again
"Yea sure." I said turning my back on him
"LeAnn please at least let me take you home." He insisted
"No." I said shaking my head he groaned
"God you're so stubborn." He said I shrugged
"Babe please let me take you home, it's getting late I don't want you here alone." He begged me I couldn't help but smile
Good thing my back was facing him or he would be teasing how he made me smile and stuff like that
"I'm good." I said he groaned again
"Oh my god babe stop being like that." He said
"Don't call me that." I said facing him
"Why?" He asked
"Because we're not even dating." I said he frowned
"And? I still called you that before we started dating." He said
"Well I don't like it." I lied
"I'm gonna keep calling you like that because I want to." He said
"Whatever." I mumbled rolling my eyes
"Oh my god LeAnn! Get in the car I'm not gonna hurt you." He whined
"How do I know?" I asked
"Because I would never hurt you...again." He mumbled
"You did it once what makes me think you wont do it again?" I asked
"I won't ok? Because believe it or not when I broke up with you it felt like my whole world ended and I didn't like it." He said
"I'm sorry I left, that was something I never wanted to do, you make me feel complete and when I broke up with you I was missing my other half." He added
"I don't believe you." I mumbled
"Then don't, but I'm gonna prove it and I promise I won't hurt you again." He said
"And if I do, then I'll understand if you never want to see me again." He said
"Fine." I mumbled
"Ok let's go." He said intertwining his hand with mine and pulling me over to his car
"Umm Crawford." I said. He looked at me and coughed
"Sorry." He said letting it go. He opened the door for me and I thanked him. The car ride was awkward especially when Crawford kept looking at me everytime we stopped at a red light or stop sign
"Can you stop staring at me and drive?" I said pointing to the light that turned red
"Yea." He mumbled driving off
Finally we got home and he opened the door for me
"Thanks." I mumbled
"Welcome." He said looking at my lips
"Goodnight?" He said
"Goodnight." I mumbled pushing past him and walking to the house. The whole way I felt his eyes on me. I walked in and locked the door. I went up to Cece's room to see her knocked out I chuckled and rolled my eyes
I walked to my room and changed into my pj's and grabbed my hair in a messy bun and turned off the lights. I laid down and covered myself. Did Crawford really mean what he said?
There probably all lies. I shook him out of my head or well at least I tried to and eventually ended up falling asleep

But I was at a quinceñera for those of you who don't know what that's means it means a girls 15th birthday party
I was really bored and I finished writing it there so I just came home and updated it
