"So, you really wanna know what my secret was?" JiYong asked, while driving.
"Yes!" I yelled, making him jump.
"You have to tell me yours first then," he smirked. It was already night, since we left around 9:30pm, and the stars were shining. We hadn't been on the road for long.
"Fine. Mine said; to my family, to my brothers, to my friends, to him. I love you. I'm glad you exist in my life," I told him. We were driving towards an intersection.
"Aw, how sweet," he smiled.
"Now, yours?" I asked. He took a deep breath. As we were crossing the intersection, on my side, I saw another SUV, driving towards us with great speed, even though it was a red light for them. They inched closer every second. Too close. I screamed. Too late.
There was a loud bang as the SUV hit us. Everything happened fast. The car turned over at least twice. The airbags deployed. The glass broke. The hood flew off. Millions of images flew through my mind in a second. Is this how I'm going to die? I thought of so many things, how I might never see my mother, my father, my brother who I loved so much. All my friends, Tae, Taeyong, Mark, Jin-son, Dae, Jackie. And JiYong. What if I lose him?
It all happened too fast, the car, the crash. My thoughts. All in seconds. And then, my mind went blank. Nothing but darkness.
