This is actually quite difficult, as most female protagonists are different..
1. Girls are always so modest about their looks, and they're all gorgeous. I know that teenage girls are all really self conscious, but puh- lease. If you're as pretty as the book makes out, you're going to have to know it, unless you have chronic dysmorphia.
2. Or else, they think they're ugly, and everybody else thinks they're ugly, except for the werewolf-vampire hybrid bad boy player billionaire. Realistically, if you're ugly, your love interest knows it too. Or else he's blind.
3. They get to wear casual dresses and skirts. I am so jealous of these fictitious creatures. If I wore a dress around my town, I'd be pointed at. And not just for my amazing looks.
4. They're socially awkward, yet everybody likes them apart from the head cheerleader. Ugh. Just. Ugh. I can't even expand on this, it's so self explanatory.
5. Oh, my God. They all love reading. Every single one of the unwittingly stunning girls. Or, they say they do. It's like

Hi, my name is Shaniqua. I'm really ugly, with long, wavy blonde hair and big, annoyingly smokey green eyes. I'm socially awkward, and I spend all of my time reading.

So, I talked to loads of people and was out til 10. Also, I mentioned how much I read. I didn't actually read though. Welp, I'm off to wear a dress."
Or is it just me?
6. They also have only one group of friends whom they trust explicitly. They never bitch about anybody except the person they're openly against, and never worry about being bitched about. But don't worry, they hate high school and all the liars and manipulators. They don't have any girl that they're casually friendly with. Ah, sure.
7. They're terrible at sports, never exercise, eat loads of junk food but have perfect skin and the perfect body. Almost like Katniss Everdeen having no shampoo, toothpaste or good soap and having perfect hair, skin and teeth. I know what I'm asking Santa for this year.
8. They're all really sarcastic. Well, this is a bit like the whole reading shenanigan. They talk about their sarcasm, and make some vaguely sarcastic comments occasionally, but aren't as sarcastic as they're made out to be. I, as a proud Sarcastic Girl, feel cheated by this. They're undermining the integrity of claiming the Sarcasm Shield.
9. They don't make a fool out of themselves when they develop the crush. These are the luckiest girls ever. Not to mention that they never have to worry about rejection. Honey, it has to happen some time. Wattpad has a huge blind spot when it comes to rejection. I say, let's take a stand! Every day around the world girls and boys are rejected and feel terrible about themselves, please, with just one "Hi, I like your story, but no rejection takes place which is actually a big part of life" comment, you can help prevent this monstrosity. Do it within a week and get a free cuddly toy and weekly updates on your progress!
10. Our girls always have the perfect dress in their closet, unless due to the plot they're too poor for it. They never have to worry about wearing the same dress twice. Come on. The struggle is real for the rest of us gals, why shouldn't it be for the not-so-real ones?
So guys, I'm kinda running out of inspiration here. There are only so many stupid stereotypes. I'm thinking unless I have a eureka moment, I may have to wrap this up in the next chapter or two.
