YEP it ran. All the way to my turning stomach. This is the Jacob incident all over again, I really couldn't take anymore and it's all on the same day. I literally just got back from being in a dark forest for a year and now this ! What's next.
" that's great " I forced my self to say along with a crooked smile. I had to hold back my tears like I was being whipped on my back.
" we'll see you around " he sung and walked over to a short blonde girl. To be honest my broken heart just sat there and i felt the tears well up in my eyes. I'm an emotional teenager and couldn't help thinking of the worse.
" l..lets go " I said walking back to my friends who all looked kinda sad, I guess they heard everything.
" I ordered pizza " I said and they all smiled huge grins, I know my friends to well.
" PIZZA!! " lucy screamed running awkwardly down the hallway towards the exit of the school . We stumbled down the steep hill outside towards a small shopping centre where sky organised to pick me up from, the shop Was called Coles and had a red logo it's new and weird. They all dragged me into Pizza Hut and I pulled out my dark purple purse where a ten dollar note sat. I ripped it out and paid for the pizza opening the fresh warm box outside the shop. We each took a slice and dug in leaving no time for savouring it. They all owe me ten dollars, if I don't forget. I had ordered it during lunch when I said I was going to the toilet.
" so what was luke talking about " Irish spoke through bites of her slice of pizza. She knew exactly what he said but didn't want to admit it.
" luke? " I said pretending like I didn't hear her " oh..he was just talking about.. You know... Stuff "
" his new GF! " Isabelle said gulping down her slice. I laughed and looked at the floor as we took a seat on a old bench near the front of the centre. The sun shone brightly and not a single cloud lingered.
A loud car horn beeped and I saw sky .. alone .. In a strange car... I didn't like where this was going but I might just be thinking of the worst. He signalled for me to hurry up and I did leaving the rest to the vultures... Also known as my friends. I threw myself into the car chucking my bag in the boot.
" you ok? " sky said driving the opposite way from where home was yet I shrugged it off.
" y..yeah " I said smiling at him " fine" we carried on driving till we ended up In a Small forest where the road turned to dirt and then the car halted next to another. It was a small white car and had lightly tinted windows her through our windows I couldn't see if anyone was inside.
" where are we ? " I asked and sky got out opening my door and shut if quickly
" I want to show you something " he smiled I hauled myself out of the car and sky lightly tapped the back of the other car. I dunno? This is sky were talking about! Never question his moves.
" you not gonna abandoned me here ? " I asked slightly scared and he gave a burst of laughter
" Why would I do that? " he said showing me the way through large pine trees which scratched at my face. I smiled and I saw a small light through the pine needles and sky pushed us through. We came to a large crystal clear lake that was surrounded by large green field which had more pine trees behind it. It was like a secret lake! It was so pretty, birds flew past and sky dragged me down closer sitting me at the edge or the lake.
" we need to talk about a few things " sky said with a sigh handing me some cookies.
" I'm scared " I said with wide eyes " what did I do "
" oh nothing! " he said rubbing the back of his neck " it's more like what did I do " I looked at sky with soft eyes and sweat flew down my face. I breathed in and relaxed.
" well while you were gone I met the beautiful girl called Alesa " he said letting out a sigh of relief.
" when? Like how long and stuff " I asked with a confused face as birds chirped and flew over the crystal lake and the sun baked my face lightly.
" a few weeks after you left " he replied " and later then we got engaged " he said with a smile. All in one year, she must be good.
" thats wonderful! Wait what!!! " I screeched and sky gingerly waved. I turned my head and I saw a skinny woman with short redish brown hair and she wore a skinny jeans and a lovely purple top that was was the perfect size. She walked over and sat next to sky and gave me a soft smile.
" hi ! " she chirped happily her voice was soft and calming " I'm Alesa " she introduced and sky kissed her cheek. I squinted my eyes and looked up and down scanning her.
" so..... Your my brothers ... What's it called?! "
" fiancé " sky corrected me with a small smirk
" Thankyou " I said returning the smirk " you look....so look pretty! " I screeched and she laughed her cheeks turning a crimson red. I really didn't know what to do since this was new to me and stuff. Promise me I know how to mess things up.
" why didn't you tell me before ! " I said puckering my lips in a sulking manner. He rolled his eyes and shook his head slightly.
" well I wanted you to get used to being back here " I laid down and stared at the clear blue sky and smiled.
" to be honest Im happy you told me now what I went through all that stuff but that doesn't matter! I'm just happy your both happy " I said staring off into space so that sky had to shake me so I would pay attention.
" well why don't we go to the movies " sky smiled " you , me and Alesa " I again squinted my eyes and looked at him
" what movie " I asked and sky gave a similar look to mine
" hmmm how about batman vs superman? Tonight? " my face lit up. I had loved superman since sky had shown me before I was in the forest.
" OK! " I agreed quickly getting up and ran towards the car
" well let's go! " I yelled running back through the pines as they continued to scratch my face " quick! I need to get changed " I quickly ran to the car and tried to open it but it was locked.
" I think she liked you " I heard sky tell Alesa from a distance. I could hear her giggling and I then felt a shiver run down my spine.
" I'm still here " I yelled throwing my hands over my ears just in case " unlock the car please "
