"Please enter." as the man entered the classroom. Your eyes widened reacting along with the rest of the "Female" students.
"My name is Kagami Taiga and I'll be joining you from now on."
"He's kinda cute, don't you think?" Biting on her index finger. She is ready to get on her knees for him. While you on the other hand overly familiar with his appearance. You took some time staring at his face, instead of admiring him you're doing more of an examination. He caught your eyes. catching each other glimpses.
He soon waved at you as you eventually recognized him.
Memories were flashing back to you. He was the man at the front gate who probably gave you the Ace card during the game, what is he doing here?!
Despite that, at least you could somehow ask him the whole purpose of all this.
"Please take the seat next to Miss, [L/N]" As he did, sitting on the comfortable chair.
"Nice to meet you, [L/N]-chan." He smirked in triumph, you don't quite get why. You just shrugged it off, focusing back on the lesson.
As the class took a lunch break, the students are running to the canteen. The coquette girls stayed for their reason.
As they're approaching the new student, Kagami Taiga. You took your guess, they're probably going to attempt to lure him into their "not" sexy seduce.
"Hey, new one. What do you think about going to the art class later with us? Let's make messy art." Art class was abandoned long ago, your guess was spot on right.
"Sounds interesting, but sorry, is not interesting enough to grab my attention." He straightforwardly refused. Fixing his glance to you.
"Oi. Don't you know the ranking system of this school? Well, you should know that a non-rank newbie like you, needs to know that your job is to obey us higher ranks."
As they started to flash their mixed digits cards on his face.
Their behavior is once again getting on your nerves. You can't even eat your lunch in peace and silence.
You stood for yourself, walking over to them.
" What about cutting our new student some slack?" Whispering behind their back, giving them the creeps, although they still kept up with their stubbornness.
"You're so cruel, Ace-chan."
"Yeah! So cruel!"
"Ace-chan wanna keep him all by herself!"
"Let's share him, Ace-chan!"
"Do you think I'm playing around here, like the rest of you?" They quieted down, realizing they shouldn't anger you further continuously.
They gave their apologetic bow, excusing themself out.
"Glad to see you're using your rank for the good, you didn't disappoint me at all. [L/N]-chan."
Your eyebrows furrow in confusion.
Kagami chuckled at your facial expression response
"I believe you're aware that I gave you the card. I at least deserve some credit from you." He sarcastically joked. Resting his chin on his palm, simply looking at you although it's somehow very intense of a glance.
"What are you intending to do?"
"To be honest with you, nothing. I have no sorts of intentions."
"Is just that you're very amusing, that's all."
"I don't understand at all." You leaned closer to him so you could whisper without the other students interrupting. "You gave me such high rank just because you find me 'amusing?'"
"Exactly."
"You're a strange one."
"Indeed. I am." You couldn't hold back and laugh, he bluntly admitted with no hesitation. "Very strange and weird." you continued to giggle.
His expression was stunned by your precious laugh that ringed into his ears, that gave him all sorts of uneasy feelings, instead of being uncomfortable he felt in shock, he haven't heard a real laugh for such ancient time.
It'll be a very treasurable memory for the man, laughing along with you.
"As the founder of your card, I need you to keep quiet of all of this and I want you to grant my wish for me." You sort of expected this, but you do owe him.
"What is it?"
"Grant me your protection."
*SLAM!!!
"Out of my way."
"Aomine-sama has arrived!" You turned your head to see the all high and mighty friend of yours has finally come unexpectedly.
"Such a miracle to see you here in the class, Aomine." you teased, returning to your seat.
"Don't start."
"Alright, guess you really shouldn't mess with someone that just woke up." Earning an exhausted groan from Aomine.
"Oi, strawberry head. That's my chair, so what about fuck off and get another seat?"
"Sorry, but I suppose this is my chair now, Blueberry." Kagami lazily battled back, this is not good. He doesn't acknowledge Aomine's existence yet.
Those men who held you down before quickly stood next to Aomine.
"King, the new student's behavior seems to be pretty bad. Do you want us to teach him?"
"Do what you gotta do." As they start to crackle their knuckles.
Kagami simply tilted his head toward you as if he has no worries at all, as words that were spoken reminded you. Grant me your protection.
He asked for protection, and you exist as an Ace to grant it.
You tip-toed to reach the guy's height, holding their shoulders as support.
"What about leaving my friend alone? I wouldn't appreciate it if you hurt my company."
"Miss Ace...b-but we can't disobey our king.."
"So you're disobeying me? An Ace?" You're playing sassy with them, you still do hold anger against them but no grunge, since you promised yourself not to.
They kept quiet, taking small peeks to their King.
Aomine 'tched in the back, "Forget it if you are friend with [L/N] you should've just said so."
"Move." Grabbing another seat from another student that's also next to you.
You mouthed, 'Protection granted.' to Kagami as he did the OK hand gesture at you like he did when you two first met at the front gate.
You felt great that you gained another friend, focusing back on the class that probably is going to start soon.

"Where are you taking me Muro-chin?" A gigantic man is being pulled by a smaller individual.
"I heard one of the students at Class 3-A got the legendary card!! Isn't that amazing?"
He grabbed another piece of chip out of his snack bag. Completely disinterested.
"Nothing will ever be as amazing as nerunerunerune candy." He puffed his cheeks out. "Look I think that's her!"
He continued to eat his snacks while peeking right through to the window, inspecting her.
"Is she delicious?" soon filling his empty mouth with his potato chips. His question startled his friend, hilariously he burst out laughing.
"Probably!" He sarcastically replied, but the bigger man took it seriously, his necklace slipped out of his uniform flashing out his rank.
KING. Murasakibara, Atsushi
"I wonder what does she taste like." Mumbles, licking his thumb.

The story might be focusing too much on Kagami / Aomine / Kuroko because after all, they're in the same classroom as reader-chan so don't yell at me if your favorites get so little screen. I'll do my best.
