A/N: Double update! Yay :D

"Help! Ow!" Calum yelled, curling up into a ball on the ground as three boys proceeded to kick him.

"Shut up!" One of them seethed, looking around to see if anyone was watching before going back to kicking the boy on the concrete.

"Stop!" A police man yelled as a cop car pulled up next to the curb in front of the four boys. Two police got out of the cruiser as the four boys watched, not even bothering to kick the boy anymore. The police began to question what exactly had happened when Calum jumped up from the ground.

"Go!" Luke yelled, choosing to run directly in between the two police officers. The boys exchanged glances before dispersing as well.

"Hey, that's that punk teenager from earlier!" One of the police yelled, pointing at Luke as the blond stopped sprinting once he was across the street. Ashton peeked around a corner just in time to see Luke drop his pants and shake his pale white ass at the cops.

"You're fucking stupid!" Ashton couldn't help but yell at the blond, hearing the boy chuckle while trying to pull up his tight skinny jeans.

One of the police turned around and pointed at Ashton, "Don't move!"

Naturally, the fight or flight instinct took over and Ashton didn't feel like chilling out in the back of a cop car while they cruised around trying to scope out the other three teenagers. Punching a cop wasn't exactly a terrific idea so running was the only immediate option, which would mean doing the exact opposite of what the police said.

Quickly looking around the street, Ashton decided to run through the grocery store across the street to hopefully escape them.

"Can I get a powdered doughnut, a chocolate one, and um, throw in that one with pink sprinkles," Michael gestured to the display case vaguely as he ordered, as the cashier began to bag each doughnut he looked around. Calum was seated at a table a few feet away, looking out the window with an absentminded smile gracing his face.

Michael couldn't help smiling at just the sight of his boyfriend, he watched Calum pull his phone out of his pocket as he handed the change to the cashier and thanked her. He was halfway to the table when his own phone vibrated, he paused and looked at Calum in confusion.

Calum: Don't look now but a pair of Town Clowns just walked in.

Michael couldn't help the urge to look over his shoulder, it wasn't everyday that a couple of clowns showed up in town. Calum must have seen his expression because Michael another text before he could turn toward the door.

Calum: Cops, Michael.

Calum: Town Clown means police.

The excitement washed away into nervousness and Michael sat down stiffly in the seat in front of his boyfriend. The two made eye contact as the police ordered, they maintained eye contact as the two burly police officers sat down at the table located directly across from the teenagers.

Without being able to help themselves, both Calum and Michael looked over at the police. They weren't exactly subtle in their staring because one of the cops looked over and smiled before going back to his sandwich.

Leaning back in his chair, Michael smiled back at the police and settled down more comfortably into his seat as not to look any more suspicious.

Calum decided that they were safe so he began sending Michael cute pictures of cats to which the latter scowled but saved quite a few to his camera roll.

The sound of static interrupted Calum and Michael's silent conversation, the white noise came from one of the police officers little walkie-talkies.

"Be on the look out for four teenagers," the broadcast began causing both teenagers to listen harder. "Two fled on scene; one Caucasian male with a pale complex and bright blue hair and an eyebrow piercing, he stands a little over six feet in all black clothing. The other is an Asian male with black hair and a blonde streak, wearing a black tank top and black jeans, he also stands at about six feet..."

Calum gave Michael a look, not just any look, he gave Michael the look. The look that indicated someone had just called him Asian, the look that told Michael that Calum was about to go off on a rant about how much he hated being racially misidentified.

"We better get out there, I don't think Duke can handle another group of teenagers. I think its about time the old man retired," one of the cops said casually, collecting his trash and finishing his coffee as the other did the same. The cop that spoke nodded to Michael as a kind of silent greeting or farewell when the two policemen exited.

"Looks like we're safe," Calum said finally, blowing out the large amount of air he'd been holding as he watching the two men get into the police cruiser.

Michael realized something was wrong when the police didn't pull out of the parking lot. He hit Calum's arm lightly to gain the boy's attention as the two turned to look out the window, making direct eye contact with the police in the cruiser.

Getting out of the vehicle at a surprisingly slow pace, the two police walked toward the entrance. Maintaining eye contact with the two officers, the two boys waved before heading toward the bathroom.

"Window?" Michael asked, nodding his head at the large horizontal window toward the ceiling as he looked at Calum.

"Window."

~^~

Ashton, was not in shape, which he quickly began to realize as he exited the supermarket through the back entrance after having weaved through the aisles of food in an attempt to lose the police officer on his tail.

Running up the street, the boy surveyed the area as he thought about his possible escapes. Deciding on an alley that would surely lead right back to where he started, Ashton assumed the cop wouldn't think he was that stupid. Then again, he did hang out with Luke who had mooned the two officers not even ten minutes ago.

Unfortunately, halfway down the alley, Ashton saw Luke start running down the other way followed closely by the other officer.

"Fuck, turn around!" Luke snapped as he gripped the front of Ashton's shirt to spin him in the opposite direction and drag him along.

The end Ashton had ran through was now blocked by the other officer, apparently Ashton wasn't as cunning as he'd thought. The two boys nearly toppled over as they came to a halt, both cops were equal distance away and closing in.

"What now?" Ashton asked, coming up with zero options.

"This way!" Shoving Ashton toward a rusted fire escape ladder bolted to one of the walls, Luke checked to see where the police were. Quickly as he could, Ashton climbed the ladder with a little difficulty. Luke was practically climbing the ladder over top of Ashton, with his hands on the rungs at Ashton's thighs. Ashton might have kicked the blond a few times accidentally but neither noticed with the adrenaline pumping through their veins.

The roof was blank, apart from a wide set of chimneys puffing graying smoke into the midday sky.

"Now what, Genius?" Ashton snapped, turning to face Luke for the first time since they'd climbed up the ladder.

"Well," Luke trailed off, looking around the vast expanse of asphalt covered roof with a measured glance. "Don't go for the most obvious."

Striding to the near opposite end of the roof, Luke opened up a small hatch that must have led inside the building, it was easy to miss unless the trapdoor was propped open. Luke deliberately left the hatch open and gestured for Ashton to follow him behind the chimneys.

"Quickly, down here!" Luke called in a hushed voice before shushing the other boy. The two crouched patiently behind the stack of chimneys as the cops surveyed the area, one pointed to the opened trapped door and they both crept over to the open door and looked in. The two cops exchanged nods before heading down the ladder.

"Oh look at this conveniently placed trapdoor! Wow, they even left the door open, they must be expecting us. There's no way those trashy teenagers hid behind that also conveniently place chimney that's just big enough for both of them to hide behind. It's almost like they're expecting us to go this way!" Ashton couldn't help but narrate in a faux tough guy voice, causing Luke to roll his eyes.

"Let's go, it won't take long for them to realize we didn't hide there." Luke suggested, patting Ashton's hand. Ashton hadn't even realized he'd impulsively gripped the blond's hand as the police got onto the roof. He released his vice grip immediately and sent an apologetic smile to the other boy, to which Luke gave Ashton's hand one final squeeze before letting go.

The two got down the ladder as quick as the could and by the time they got out of the alley Ashton had to use Luke to keep himself upright, he was laughing too hard to keep himself standing so there was no other option that to lean against Luke, which the other boy certainly didn't mind.

"Hey," Luke said as he nudged Ashton a while later, showing the bandana wearing boy the time. "We've still got the better part of an hour left, how 'bout we make out for half that then decide if we want to lose?"

><

"Looks like we're the first ones here, babe." Calum said cheerfully, sitting on the curb at the corner of Main and Summer five seconds after the clock struck their agreed time. Both boys were sweaty and had a small amount of trouble breathing seeing as they'd sprinted through a field after climbing out the window, the police caught up in their police car quicker than Michael had hoped and after climbing a tree, the two boys hide for ten minutes while the officers searched the area. Another cop car made an appearance a few blocks away from the selected rendezvous and they had to sprint once again, except this time they were going through backyards to slow down the cops.

"I didn't know you had it in you." Michael puffed, kind of happy that his boyfriend was able to put up with his crazy suggestions.

"What can I say? I'm pretty badass," the boy laughed, looking up in time to see their friends walking toward them.

"Nice of you guys to show up," Michael greeted with a chuckle, standing up along with Calum to meet the boys halfway.

"Wow, if you didn't have a bunch of leaves and shit in your hair Hemmings, I would have assumed you might have been eating face before you got here," he said with an eyebrow raised, examining Luke's debris filled quiff.

"We had to run through pure brush to get away from some police." Luke explained, taking a moment to fix his hair with the help of Ashton.

"Why are we meeting here anyway? We usually stick to the other end of town." Calum observed, looking at the slightly more expensive houses surrounding them.

"Well, we've been invited to a party. Trick is throwing a birthday party for himself and he's oh-so-kindly invited you guys. Originally I wasn't going to go but, he pulled the best friend card on me." Luke shrugged as he explained the situation with a what can you do? kind of expression.

Ashton groaned for what had to be the billionth time today, "School's tomorrow, Luke."

"I know," Luke hesitated before smirking at the boy. "Which is why, we're going to drop you off at your house and we'll be picking you up when it gets dark. Just go out your window, I've done the reverse plenty of times, your mum won't notice a thing."

Calum let out a low whistle, raising his eyebrows suggestively at Michael, "Hear that? He's done the reverse plenty of times."

"Why do I let you guys talk me into these kinds of things," Ashton whined finally in defeat.

"Because you love me," Luke joked with a teasing grin as he intertwined their fingers together, and the four set off in the direction of Ashton's house a few blocks away.

"I hate every single one of you."

A/N: Lame af filler with really sucky police chase thing.

Honestly, my dad gave me the idea because when he was a teenager him and his buddies would pretend to kick the crap out of someone when it got dark until the cops came and then they would leg it, it was basically an every man for themselves thing and he almost got caught one time. Apparently it was a halloween tradition and my friends and I are boring because we trick or treat...

Anyway, more lashton in the next update guaranteed.
