"Babe, do you have a sister?" I looked at Cammie confused.
"No why?" She showed me my phone where there was picture of me and Sophia.
"Who is this then?"
"That's Sophia, she's my daughter." I smiled.
"You have a daughter?"
"Yes, she's four."
"She looks like you."
"Really? Everyone thinks she looks just like her mom."
"Who is her mom?"
"McKenna Morris. We went to high school together."
"Were you guys a thing?"
"Nope. Never have been and never will be. She is getting married and has another daughter."
"You see Sophia?" I nodded.
"As much as she will let me."
"Do I get to meet her?"
"I would have to talk to McKenna and she would want to meet you first."
"Do you think she will like me?"
"Yea I think she will, both of them will." I smiled kissing her cheek.
"Ugh I have to go to work, so will I see you later?"
"I have Sophia for a little while, so I will text you."
"Fine."
I kissed her lips and she left. I rolled over and went and got in the shower. Today I was going to tell Sophia about Cam and just have her tell McKenna. That way she will tell her mom what she really thinks about me having a girlfriend. I pulled my clothes on just as I heard the knock on the door.
"Daddy."
"Coming princess." I smiled as I opened the door and she quickly wrapped her arms around my leg.
"Hi princess."
"Daddy." I pulled her into my arms and she hugged me tight.
"Princess go watch your show so I can talk to mommy real quick."
"No hold me."
"It will only be for a second." I set her on the couch and she stayed. McKenna was in the kitchen waiting for me.
"What's wrong?"
"She's been having nightmares. There's monster ones of course, but then she has them where we leave her. I've been talking to her about it, telling her that's not going to happen, but you need to talk to her too."
"Okay. Do you think something triggered this?" She sighed, shaking her head.
"I don't know maybe she will tell you something different."
"She's going to be okay."
"I'm just worried."
"I will talk to her."
"Okay, I have to go." I nodded and she went to say goodbye to Soph before leaving. I sat down and she quickly curled up to me.
"Mommy said you've been having nightmares." She nodded and I frowned pulling her closer.
"Want to tell daddy about them?"
"I don't want you and mommy to leave me." My heart hurt knowing she felt like this.
"Princess Mommy and I are not going anywhere. We love you so much. We would be so lost without you." I pressed my forehead to hers and she smiled at me.
"You know you can call me anytime you want?"
"Yea."
"Love you princess."
"Love you daddy."
"Alright so I have to talk to you about something really important."
"What?"
"Would you be okay with daddy having a girlfriend?"
"Are you getting married too?"
"No honey, I don't think I will be getting married."
"Is she pretty?"
"She is, but not as pretty as you." She smiled and I smiled at her.
"Can I meet her?"
"We will have to see what mommy says."
"Why?" She frowned.
"Mommy will want to meet her too."
"Is she nice?"
"She is."
"What's her name?"
"Her name is Cammie."
"I like it."
"Me too. I can't wait for you to meet her."
"Me hang out with you and her?"
"Of course princess."
"Can we go to the park?"
"Yea let's go."
(McKenna's pov)
"Mommy."
"What baby?"
"Daddy has a girlfriend." She smiled, playing with Ellie's toes.
"He does huh?" I smiled.
"Yea, her name is Cammie."
"Have you met her?"
"No, daddy just told me about her."
"You okay with him having a girlfriend?"
"Yea, he said he will still spend time with me."
"Good, mommy will have to talk to daddy about this." She nodded and went to play with her toys. Ellie was asleep and Colin was at work so I decided to call Rickey and ask him about this. I sat down next to Ellie while I waited for him to answer.
"Hello."
"So word is you have a girlfriend?" I smiled.
"I do, and she would like to meet Soph."
"Do I know her?"
"I don't think so."
"So in that case I need to meet her before she meets our daughter."
"Do you want to double date then?"
"Yea we can do that. Are you guys free tonight?"
"Yea."
"Okay, you guys can pick the place and I will find a baby sitter."
"See you later."
I hung up and texted Sean seeing if she was free tonight.
"Baby girl, looks like you and sissy will be going to Nana's and Poppa's tonight."
"Why?"
"Mommy and Colin are going out with daddy and Cammie."
"I want to go." She pouted.
"You can next time." She frowned and went back to playing while I texted Colin telling him what's going on. Ellie had woken up so I quickly got her ready before I got ready. Once we were already we headed over to my moms.
"Poppa." She yelled running through the door.
"Hey pumpkin, ready to watch the game with me?"
"Then we watch my show."
"We'll see."
"Dad." He smiled at me and took the car seat from me.
"Look at you getting bigger every time I see you."
"I know I can't believe it." I smiled as I got Ellie out and she smiled at me.
"Hi baby."
We walked into the living room sitting down.
"Where's mom?"
"Don't know. We're going to go downstairs, the games going to start." I nodded and they went downstairs so I curled up with Ellie.
"There's my girl."
My mom came down and smiled as she came over to us.
"Hi cutie." She made her baby sounds at my mom making us smile.
"So what's going on tonight?"
"Double dating with Rickey and his girlfriend."
"What?"
"Yea, Sophia said she's nice. He talked about her to see how Sophia would be and she wants to meet her. I don't know her, so of course I want to meet her before my daughter does."
"Of course, I'm glad he found someone."
"Me too, I want him to settle down. He needs someone to take care of him for once."
"Think you will like her?"
"Hope so, or he sure as hell will not be bringing our daughter around her."
Colin came in the room. I smiled at him as he sat next to me and took Ellie.
"So what's going on?"
"We're meeting Rickey's girlfriend."
"Is Soph?"
"No, we need to get going."
We said our goodbyes and headed towards the restaurant.
"Do not scare the poor girl off and become super over protective mom."
"I won't."
"McKenna." He warned.
"What, she's my daughter."
"Everything is going to be fine." I nodded as we pulled up and went inside where they were. I could tell she looked nervous to meet me.
"Hi."
"Cammie, this is McKenna and Colin."
"Hi." She said shyly.
"Hi it's nice to meet you."
"I guess you were right, she really does look like her mom."
"She is my twin, it drives my brother insane." I smiled.
"She is so cute. I hope I get to meet her."
"So how did you two meet?" I asked looking at them closely.
"We met at bar. She came up to me thinking I was hot then the rest was history."
"I thought you were good looking and I just wanted to dance. Anyways, Rickey said you were guys were getting married congratulations!"
"Yes, thank you. We still really haven't figured out too much for the wedding."
"We're waiting for Ellie to be a little older."
"Where are the girls?"
"Their at my mom's; Sophia is watching the game with my dad. He claims that she is his good luck charm."
"Well they usually win when they are together."
"I guess, he loves watching his old games with her too. I'm surprised she does not want to play baseball yet."
"Who is your dad?"
"Nathan Morris, he used to play in the MLB when I was a baby. He stopped when my mom was pregnant with my little brother."
"Did you ever get to watch him?"
"Yea, but I was a baby so I don't remember anything."
"Still that is so cool."
"Yea my dad is pretty cool. My little brother is going to be just like him."
"I bet your dad loves that."
"Oh yea. So do you have any nieces or nephews?"
"Sadly no I don't.
Dinner was over and it actually went well.
"Rickey, can I talk to you real quick?" He nodded and we went over by the car.
"What's up?"
"She seems nice."
"So Sophia can meet her?"
"Yes, but listen Sophia is the boss in this. If she doesn't like her then someone is going to have to end it."
"I understand."
"I'm happy for you, she seems good for you."
"Thank you, you should be getting to the girls. Is Sophia free tomorrow?"
"Yes in the morning, but then she has swim class. I can meet you there if you want?"
"Yea sounds good."
(Rickey's pov)
I pulled her into my arms and she quickly cuddled into me.
"Tonight went good."
"Yea, speaking of, McKenna said she likes you, so you get to meet Sophia."
"Really!?" She smiled.
"Yea, she is coming over tomorrow."
"I'm so excited."
"We get her for a little bit, and then she has to swim class."
"Babe, I'm so excited."
"Are you sure that it doesn't bother you I have a kid?"
"It did at first. I would have rather you told me than find a picture of her."
"I was going to tell you, I wanted to make sure we were serious. Telling someone you have a kid is hard, usually they will run, but some will stay."
"True, you needed to be sure about us."
"Exactly."
"Let's get some sleep. She is going to drain our energy tomorrow." She smiled, leaning up kissing my lips before we fell asleep.

"Daddy!"
"Hi princess." She jumped into my arms and I hugged her tight. McKenna walked in and smiled at Cammie.
"Princess there is someone I want you to meet."
"Is it your girlfriend?"
"Yes." I smiled as I brought her over to the couch and sat down.
"Sophia this is Cammie, Cammie this is my daughter Sophia."
"Hi Sophia, gosh your so cute. I think you look more like your mommy in person."
"Thank you."
"Come here and give me kisses, I have to go." I let Sophia go and she went right to her mom.
"Daddy is going to bring you to practice and I will meet you there."
"Love you mommy."
"Love you too baby be a good girl."
"I will." She gave her a kiss and Sophia came back over to me.
"See you later." She left and I turned back to Sophia.
"Do you want to go to the park?"
"No we always go to the park?"
"What do you want to do then?"
"Can we go to the movies?"
"What do you want to see?"
"Minions."
"What do you think?"
"I want to see minions too."
"Let's go daddy."
"Yea daddy lets go."
"Fine let's go."
They smiled and gave me a hug and we went off to the movies

"There's mommy."
We walked over and I helped her get Ellie.
"I got your stuff. Will you take her while I help Soph get ready?" She looked up at me.
"Sure." I took the car seat and brought her inside the seating area. Ellie looked like she was going to cry so I pulled her out and cradled her.
"Hi Ellie, mommy will be back in a minute." I smiled at her and she closed her eyes falling asleep.
"Sorry about that, is she asleep?"
"Yea."
"I can take her."
"We're good. I can't believe Sophia was this small at one point."
"I know I miss it. They grow up so fast. Maybe you should have another one."
"I don't know. I think Soph is it for me at least for a while."
"How did today go?"
"It went good. They ganged up on me to go see that Minion's movie."
"Soph okay?"
"Yea they seemed to get along pretty good."
"Good I'm glad."
"Me too." I smiled at her and looked out to see my little girl learning to swim.
