ALLY'S POV
I wake up in Lauren's arms.
I had a bad dream last night, I guess.
I ran into her room knowing she'd comfort me.
I slowly wiggle out not wanting to wake her.
She stirs and pulls me back into her arms.
I sigh and fall back asleep.
LAUREN'S POV
I wake up to see flashes going off.
I squint my eyes and put my hand over my eyes.
My eyes adjust and I see it's Dinah and Mani standing there with their phones.
I groan.
I look at Ally and see she's still peacefully sleeping through this.
I lay down and cuddle up next to her like before.
I try to fall back asleep. Key word 'try'.
"Ugh. Go away! Me and Ally are tryna sleep," I say softly not wanting to wake Ally.
"No, dawg. You gotta get up," Dinah says.
I shoo them away.
"NOPE! We ain't goin' no where," Mani says.
I see Ally stir. She moans.
"Shh. Go back to sleep, babe," I whisper to her.
She smiles in her sleep.
I smile.
She's so beautiful when she sleeps.
Hell, she's even more beautiful without make up when she's up.
"Yay! Alren!" Dinah yells. I give her a glare. She shrinks back.
"Ugh. Shoo! She wants to sleep! Let the girl sleep!" I say.
"Fine, we're giving you 15 minutes," Mani says. I nod.
"Ok, bye now," I say. They walk out the door closing it behind them.
I look back at Ally.
Gosh, I just want her to be mine.
Nobody knows that I like her like that.
Y'know, it's just the normal friendship "ships", but I want ours to be more.
She smiles in her sleep.
She looks happy and peaceful when she sleeps.
Dinah and Mani barge in.
I put my finger over my mouth.
'I'll get her up' I mouth to them.
They nod and walk out closing the door.
"Allycat, it's time to wake up," I say softly into her ear shaking her gently.
She groans.
"Ally, babe. C'mon, it's time to get up," I use the same tone.
She stirs.
I move out of the way so she can sit up.
She then sits up and rests on the headboard.
"I don't wanna," she whispers.
"Babe, c'mon. You still have a job, y'know," I say. She shakes her head.
We have the day off today but everyone's downstairs probably waiting for Ally to cook.
"No. Let's stay here and sleep and cuddle," she says holding her arms out like how a toddler would. I laugh at her childish antics.
"No, babygirl. We gotta go downstairs. They're probably all starving waiting for you to cook," I say. She giggles and closes her eyes.
I sit next to her and open her eyelids. She laughs.
Oh, what a beautiful laugh.
"Seriously, Allycat. We have to go downstairs," I say. She opens her eyes.
"Carry me?" she asks holding her arms out. I sigh.
"Fine, if it'll get you downstairs," I say. She smiles and I support her knees with one arm and the other under her shoulders.
She raps her hands around my neck.
I walk out the door and close it behind me.
I walk down the steps with Ally.
"Awww," Dinah coos.
She snaps a picture and I roll my eyes.
I place Ally down in a beanbag knowing she loves the beanbag.
"Did y'all eat anything yet?" I ask.
"Nope, we were waiting on Ally," Mila sighs.
"Ok, well, I'll go to McDonald's then. What do y'all want?" I ask.
"I want an egg mcmuffin, please, thanks," Mani says. I nod.
I create a new note typing what they want.
"I want two pancakes, thanks," Mila says. I nod.
"And I guess I'll have the sausage mcmuffin," Dinah says.
I walk over to Ally.
"Allycat, you want anything from McDonald's?" I ask.
"I want the sausage, egg, and cheese mcgriddle," she mumbles.
"Do you wanna come with me, I'll let you sleep in the car?" I suggest. She nods.
"Ok, I'm gonna pick you up, okay?" I say. She nods.
I wonder why she's so tired.
Before I reach down to grab her, she starts to cough.
"Allycat, are you ok?" I ask. She nods. I reach down but she turns her head and sneezes into her elbow.
I pick her up.
"Ok, guys I'm going and I'm taking Ally with me." I say. They all nod not really caring.
I plan to stop at a pharmacy to grab her something.
I place her in the back seat so she can lay down.
She immediately lays down. I walk around the car with my keys in my hand.
I open the door on the side her head is.
I place the back of my hand onto her forehead.
She's burning up.
I sigh.
My poor baby.
I get in the drivers seat and head down to the local pharmacy first.
I get out of the car leaving the windows partially down so Ally can still breathe.
I open her door.
"Ally, I'll be right back, I'm going to grab you medicine, ok?" I say. She nods.
I shut her door and lock the car.
I sling my bag over my shoulder and walk in the pharmacy.
I walk over to the lady and ask her what it is good for a fever for a 20 year old.
She shows me a bunch and I decide to get Motrin.
I pay for it.
I walk out and to the car.
I unlock it and get in the drivers seat.
I look back at Ally.
Poor thing.
I start the car and roll the windows up.
I pull out of the parking lot and towards McDonald's.

I pull up to our house and shut the car off.
I take the food and medicine in first knowing the girls are starving.
I place everything down and rush back outside.
I grab Ally from out of the car.
I walk in the door and shut it behind me.
I place her on the couch.
I grab Ally's food and a water bottle.
I walk over to her and sit down on the coffee table in front of her.
"Ally, babe. Wake up. You gotta eat," I say.
She opens her eyes.
"There you go," I say with a smile. She gives me a small smile.
Her light caramel eyes are dulled.
She must feel really under the weather today.
I give her her opened mcgriddle and she takes a bite of it.
She continues to slowly but surely eat it.
She swallows a bite and her eyes widen.
She runs to the sink and throws up.
I sigh and get up.
I jog over to her.
I run the tap and her insides go down the drain.
"I think that's enough food for you," I say gently patting her back. She nods agreeing.
"Allycat, are you ok?" Mani asks genuinely concerned for her friend.
All Ally does is nod.
"Ok," Mani says.
She walks over to the closest bean bag and drops into it.
She immediately falls asleep and I smile.
I walk over to the cupboards and grab cheerio's.
I grab a bowl and pour cheerio's in.
I eat that with my hand at the island with the rest of the girls.
"You're so nice, Lo," Dinah says.
I must have given her a confused look because she states, "you helping Ally. It's really nice of you."
I nod and smile looking at the older girl on the bean bag.
"Hey, Dinah? Can I talk to you somewhere private?" I ask.
"Yeah, dawg," she says going back to her normal self.
I lead her to Ally's room.
"Um, I have to tell you something, and you have to promise not to tell the girls, okay?" I say seriously. She must have seen the look on my face because her smile faded as she nodded.
"Proceed," she says.
"I really, really like someone," I say.
"Awe, what's his name?" she asks.
"See, that's the thing, it's not a boy, it's a girl," I whisper.
"Awe, what's her name?" she asks. I sit next to her.
"Um, Allyson Brooke Hernandez," I continue my whisper.
She jumps off dancing.
"Yes! My ship has finally sailed! I'm the captain of U.S.S Alren!" she yells. But not loud enough for the others to hear downstairs.
"Shh!" I say.
"Oh, sorry. Anyway, you should tell her, you guys would be cute together," she says. I blush.
"Thanks," I say.
"Let's go back down," she says. I nod.
She smiles at me and lets me go first.
I walk down the steps with Dinah.
I see Ally sitting next to Mani on the island.
I sneak up behind her and cover her eyes with my hands.
"Who is this?" she asks.
"It's the mailman," I say in a deep man voice.
"Oh, ok. Is the mailman's name Lauren?" she asks with a cute giggle.
"Um, no. Where did you get that. The mailman's name is Andy," I continue the voice.
"Pssh, I highly doubt that," she says with a laugh.
She removes my hands and I kiss her cheek.
"Well, how ya feelin', boo?" I ask sitting in between Ally and Dinah.
"I feel a lot better, thanks for taking care of me, Mani told me," she says as reaches to kiss my cheek.
I put my hand in front of her lips and she kisses my hand.
She pulls away looking at me.
"I ain't letting you kiss me 'til you are 100% better," I say. She pouts. I look away.
"Zon't zo it. Zon't zo it!" I say.
She giggles. I turn back around and she has her puppy dog face on.
"Ugh NO! Why are you so cute!?" I exclaim to the roof.
"I don't know," she shrugs. She sips her orange juice through a straw still looking at me.
Her eyes twinkle.
They aren't dull anymore, which I'm happy about. They're very vibrant and full of life and curiosity.
I push my hair back with my hand.
I look at my phone and it's 2 in the afternoon.
"What do y'all want to do?" I ask.
"Oh no, don't turn into our southern bell here. We already have one, we don't need another one!" Dinah exclaims. I roll my eyes.
"Southern bell?" she asks looking at Dinah.
"Mhm, I called you a southern bell," Dinah says.
"Oh, ok," she quietly says.
"Don't take it to hard, she's just messing around, you know that," I whisper in her ear. She nods.
ALLY'S POV
I didn't take it to hard.
I was just thinking.
Everything Laur has done, she has been extremely nice to me.
"Hey, Mani, can I talk to you," I say looking at her.
"I'll be back," I say to Laur. She nods.
"Yeah, of course, let's go upstairs," Mani says. I nod.
I get off of the high chair and walk with Mani up the stairs.
We walk into the closest room to the stairs, Laur's room.
She sits on the bed.
I sit next to her and lay my head on her shoulder.
"What's it you need to talk to me about?" she asks.
"I think I like someone, like really like someone," I say softly.
"Oh, what's his name?" she asks. I sigh.
"That's the thing. It's a girl not a boy," I close my eyes waiting for the hate to come.
"Aww, what's her name?" she asks.
"So you don't hate me?" I ask looking up at her.
"Why would I hate you? Love is love, not matter what gender. And you're the most adorable thing in the world, I couldn't hate you even if I wanted to," she says.
I smile at my friend.
"Aw, thanks, ManiBear," I say.
"No problem. What's her name?" she asks. I take a deep breath.
"LaurenMichelleJauregui," I say in one quick breath. She processes it through.
"Aww!" she squeals. "You guys would be the cutest couple!"
"Thanks," I feel my face turn hot.
"Ok, let's go back down, but you have to tell her soon, ok?" she says.
"Ok," I agree with her.
We walk down side to side.
I sit back on my seat and scoot closer to Lo.
I intertwine my fingers with Laur's under the island.
"Chancho? Can you get me water please!" Dinah asks Mila.
"Sure, CheeChee," Mila smiles at Dinah and turns to the fridge.
I look at Dinah and see her staring at Mila's butt.
I giggle.
I guess Laur sees too because she immediately covers my mouth.
I lick her hand.
"Eww! Ally!" she squeals and wipes her hand on my baggy shirt.
I still sit in my pajamas, a baggy t-shirt that says 'messy hair, i don't care', and black leggings.
I laugh.
I see Mila hand Dinah her water.
"Thanks, Chancho," Dinah says.
"Your welcome, CheeChee," Mila smiles.
"Y'all have the weirdest nicknames, for real," I say.
"Whatever," Dinah and Mila say at the same time.
Mani smiles at me from across the island.
"Guys, what are we gonna do today?" Laur asks.
"I don't know. What about we stay and have a movie marathon," Dinah suggests sipping her water.
"Sure!" Mani and I exclaim. Laur and Mila nod.
"Alright, movie marathon it is!" Laur says and smiles. We both get off of the chairs.
Laur lets go of my hand and walks to the door.
I then see the shades close. Smart Laur.
"Ok, what do y'all want to watch?" I ask as I turn a small lamp on in between the couches.
"Let's watch Insidious 1!" Laur exclaims. She loves scary movies, but I don't.
Oh, no, no. Scary movies are not my thing.
"Eep! No!" Mila and I yell.
I guess she doesn't like scary moves either.
"Don't worry, Chancho. You can cuddle with me," Dinah says to Mila.
"Yay," Mila smiles at Dinah.
I ship it, Caminah!
"I ship Caminah so hard!" I whisper in Laur's ear.
"So do I," she whispers back.
"And, you, missy, can cuddle with me," Laur says out loud looking at me. I blush but it's too dark to see. Thank gosh.
"And I can cuddle with Casper, thank you very much," Mani says. We all laugh.
"Call Arin over," Dinah says. We all agree.
"Fine," I can see her blush in the dark.
She grabs her phone and walks away.
Dinah puts the disk in and the screen shows up.
Laur pulls me along to the bean bags and we connect them making a row of bean bags for us.
Laur plops down pulling me down with her.
I laugh and Laur laughs along with me.
What a beautiful sound coming out of a beautiful person.
"Why thank you, Allycat," I can see Laur's smirk in the dark.
"What?" I ask her confused.
"You said, 'what a beautiful sound coming out of a beautiful person'," she says. I blush and put my head in my hands.
She pries my hands off my face.
"Hey, don't worry," she says as she kisses my hands.
I feel sparks everywhere in my body sending shivers down my back.
I fight the sudden urge to kiss her.
I hear a knock on the door.
"I got it!" Mani yells.
"Mani, we're all right here you don't have to shout!" Laur yells back and I giggle.
I can see Mani roll her eyes and her back is facing us.
She opens the door and talks with the person.
She lets the person in and it's Arin.
They hold hands.
I think they're cute together.
They walk over to the sofa and Arin pulls Mani down the same way Lo did to me.
She laughs.
She looks happy. I'm glad she is.
I smile at them.
Laur pulls me into a hug with my back facing her.
She wraps my arms around my waist.
She kisses my neck.
"Ok, Dinah, let's get this over with!" I sigh.
"Don't worry, babygirl. I'm right here if you need me," I hear Laur whisper in my ear.
I nod and place my hands over hers.
The movie starts.
We continue to watch.
Most of the movie consisted of me cuddling into Laur's chest.
I shake at a scary part and Laur pulls me close.
I'm the only one who calls her that.
Everyone else calls her Lo thinking it suits her better.
I try to find a happy place.
But then I realize I've already found it. It's just not a place, it's a person.
That person is Lauren Michelle Jauregui.
I smile into her chest as I hear a door slam shut from the movie.
I whimper a bit.
"Sh, it's ok," Laur soothingly says to me. It calms me down a bit.
The movie finally ends and I turn back around so my back is to her.
LAUREN'S POV
Once the movie is over, Ally turns around.
Now my face is in her hair.
It smells like strawberries.
I ruffle my face in her hair and I can hear her beautiful giggle.
I inhale her scented hair.
"What are we watching now?" I hear her ask.
"Um. Oh, what about Frozen!" Camz says.
"Sure, why not," I say. I get up and grab the frozen disk and take the insidious disk out.
I place the frozen disk in and push the CD holder lightly and it take the disk.
The frozen movie menu comes on and I press play with the remote.
I set it down on the coffee table.
I walk back over to Ally and get back behind her.
It starts to play.
"Allycat, are you tired?" I ask. She shakes her head.
"No," she says.
"Ok," I say.
About half way through the movie, I hear light snores coming from Ally. I sigh.
"I'm gonna take her back upstairs," I say to everyone.
Everyone nods not really caring.
I pick her up bridal style and take up the stairs.
I open my door and place her down in my bed.
I pull the covers over her and feel her head.
Her head has cooled down a bit.
I smile and turn the AC on in my room.
I close the door behind me and walk back down the steps.
I lay back down at the part where Olaf says 'well some people are just worth melting for.'
The movie soon ends.
"What do you guys wanna watch now?" I hear Dinah asks.
"Let's be Cops," I hear Arin.
"Let's be Cops it is," I say. I get up and put the disk in pulling the Frozen disk out.
I press play.
The movie starts.
~~~ TIME LAPSE TO AFTER TO 4 MORE MOVIES ~~~
It's now 11 at night.
I walk into my room to a sight I hate seeing.
Ally's curled up in a ball crying against the headboard.
I run over to her and pull her into my lap.
"Baby what happened?" I ask softly.
"I-I. I ha-had a ba-bad dre-dream," she chokes out.
"You wanna talk about it?" I asked.
"Yo-you were in i-it. Som-someone to-took you aw-ay fr-from me-e an-and killed yo-u," she says starting to sob again.
"Aww. Babe, I'm right here. I'm not gone. No one took me. I'm holding you in my arms right now baby. Are you hungry?" I say soothingly. She nods.
"Ok, what do you want to eat?" I question.
"Cheerio's, please," she says quiet as can be. I smile.
"Sure thing. I'll be right back, ok?" I reassure her.
"Ok," she smiles.
I walk out and close the door behind me.
I walk down the steps and to the kitchen.
I grab a bowl and the cheerio's.
I pour cheerios into the bowl and close the bag.
I put the bag back in the box and put the box in the cupboards.
I walk back upstairs with the bowl and into my room.
I hand Ally the cheerios and she smiles at me.
"Thank you, Laur," she calls me a nickname no one else calls me.
"My pleasure, Allypoo," I test it. I guess she's ok with it the way she smiles at the use.
She places the bowl on the nightstand once she's done.
"C'mere," I say holding my arms out.
She gladly excepts and I wrap my arms around her.
She cuddles up to me and she doesn't have nightmares for the rest of the night.
Both of us fell asleep with a smile on our face.
