3 Days into my new life and I was over it - over the people, the home, my surroundings, only my large room and the delicious food kept me sane.
"Aaliyah... I've got something to tell you" Robyn breathed.
"What is it..." I hesitated
"Uno you're going to be Lucas's girl by the end of this week" she chuckled
"Girl, please.. I'm no ones girl, Mr Lance practically glued the boy to me" I hissed.
"Mmm but you don't know Lucas" she trailed off
"What is there to know ... he's so up his own arse he doesn't even know what daylight is"
"Oooooo I've never heard that one before, but seriously.. every girl that has been with Lucas knows what he's about"
"You lost me" I said while stuffing my face with my sandwich
"He's been out with no girls from our school, he only dates older girls.... but" she began to whisper
"What? spit it out, I'm so confused" I laughed
"He was hurt real bad by a girl at this school.. she musta cheated on him just before you came"
"I thought he doesn't date any girls from this school.." I enquired
"He didn't, she was his bestfriend of 5years.."

"So he caught feelings they dated for a year and she cheated on him with 2 of his boys.."
"TWOO?!!! , who's got time for that... that's three times the dick .. what is his dick game that wack" I began to laugh
"Lucas got some mad trust issues Aaliyah, but when he loves ... he loves hard... he plays the 'player' card.. like he got all these hoes but he's not like that... he just wants a girl that will cook for him and make money with him.. he be on his music grind hard"
"okay that's nice, but what's that got to do with me..." I questioned starting to become bored with the conversation

"Alright Aaliyah but let me just tell you ... Lucas always says-"
"If I want it, ima go get it bae -and when I get it ima treat it like I want it" Lucas interrupted
Robyn shot eyes at me to say basically he's reinstating everything she just said.
I raised my middle finger swiping it in a half moon motion while my other half of the sandwich was in my other hand "whoops and there goes my last fuck"
Lucas chuckled....
"you never fail to surprise me, most girls would swoon over me saying that to them"
"well firstly I'm not most girls, secondly whatever you just said you... you said it AT me not to me you asshole... and lastly don't call me bae, are you psychotic or just intoxicated"
I said while taking a sip of my juice
Robyn's mouth fell to the table, surprised I had the balls to say that him ... I don't know why she was surprised he's not exactly royalty, is he?
"aha, you got me fucked up" he said while swinging his leg over the bench while facing to sit opposite me
"the more you resist to like me the more I'm attracted to you" he hummed
"how about you focus on releasing your new mixtape on soundcloud.... send me the link when you're ready" I winked

"I'm just saying, you argue like a married couple it's quite entertaining, what you on kid number 4 now" she laughed
"I'm sorry Robyn ... should I let Mr LC know of your fantasies shall I" I sang
"You wouldn't .." she hissed
"wait a fantasy with me in it ..." he smiled
"No!!" we both demanded simultaneously
"Oh alright ... with who then?" he enquired
"With your b-" she covered my mouth
"Say it and I'll tell the whole school you guys are dating ... even Mr Lance"
I shot her the "you wouldn't even think about it" look

"Lucas what did I say about calling me Liyah... c'mon you have to take me to dance tryouts" I said while gathering my things
"no I'll carry your bag" he said while taking it out of my hands

I turned around to stick my tongue out at her as we walked away.

I could easily lie about how the little things he did made my chest tighten and the way his smile gave me butterflies and the way he licked those Devine lips made me seep into a blissful daydream about those feather like kisses he would place down my neck ... with all the shit he said that put an immediate stop to those crazy sensations.
"no Liyah... how I really make you feel... not how you show me how you want to feel about me"
it was like the boy was psychic Sally.... how could he see right through me.. I mean damn I'm an open book but shit I'm not transparent, or am I?
instinctively I diverted my eyes to look at the interior of the inside gym where the other girls began to pack up their things and leave as we had to wait for the rest of the crew to put who's in on the bulletin tomorrow.
Lucas stood up from the benches and placed his hands on my shoulders
"I can see it in your eyes... three days in and you want me" he chuckled
I dusted off his hands
"I'm hungry... I want food" I hissed
"Fine let me take you out to eat before I take you home"
Yes he was taking me home after the first day, he met my mother and they clicked....within the first two minutes might I add.. he told her that she'd been seeing him often and he's going to take care of me in the future and blah blah .. typical cringey shit.

He took me through the in and out drive thru and began talking ....
"So Liyah, tell me ... how do I make you feel..."

He pulled into a nearby car park and took the food out of my hands while leaning into my face.
he stayed there momentarily before smirking to ease the tension
"Your eyes dilated" he smiles while slowly pulling away
"well yes they would your big head kinda blocked the sun meaning they had to expand to let more light in you plum"
he twisted my wrist to flip my hand over so my palm was facing upward and began interlocking our fingers... they felt like they were meant to be paired ... although I'm not into that cringey shit... it felt right.
"I like you" he sang while eating a chip or fry ... whatever you call them.
"p p pardon" I stuttered
"I. Like. You. " he stated
"It been three fucking days you don't even know me" I said while drawing my hand back and grabbing my food.
"that's all I need" he smiled while stuffing his face
"how? that doesn't even make sense" I said while eating a couple fries at once

"you've been hurt ... a lot.... you don't like investing your time in people .. not because you're scared of attachment of commitment but because you don't like wasting time .. cos you believe life is too short"

I was speechless for the first time in a long while
"oh and you tend to be selfless and help people but they shoot you in your foot... even still you still help them"
"Okay last part you spoke to my mum didn't you ...." I asked

"well shit I guess you spoke to God and discussed my whole life story .. now who are you and what do you want.. I don't have money" I said while raising my hands up
he laughed
"I want to get to know you for myself, I think you could offer me great insight and encouragement"
"cringey" I spat
he leaned in again
