The days had blurred into one another, each passing moment marked by the same routine of solitude and longing. Mehak had grown accustomed to the emptiness of the house, the silence of her room becoming a constant companion in the absence of Ibrahim's presence. But as the days stretched , the weight of her solitude had begun to wear on her, a suffocating sense of isolation that seemed to envelop her like a heavy shroud.

Today, as Mehak sat alone in her room, the walls closing in around her, she felt a desperate urge to break free from the confines of her self-imposed prison. The air felt heavy, oppressive, as if pressing down upon her chest, making it difficult to breathe. She longed for the freedom of open space, for the cool caress of the wind upon her skin."I want to go out from this room," Mehak whispered to herself, her voice barely above a murmur.

It was a simple declaration, spoken more out of necessity than desire, but it held within it a seed of determination that refused to be ignored. With a sense of purpose that belied her uncertainty, Mehak rose from the bed, her movements slow and deliberate. She crossed the room with measured steps, her heart pounding in her chest as she approached the door. With a trembling hand, she reached out to grasp the handle, the cool metal sending a shiver down her spine. As the door swung open before her, Mehak hesitated for a moment, her gaze sweeping over the empty hallway beyond.

The house felt eerily quiet, devoid of the usual hustle and bustle that accompanied Ibrahim's presence. But despite the emptiness that surrounded her, Mehak felt a surge of determination coursing through her veins.Taking a deep breath to steady her nerves, Mehak stepped out into the hallway, the soft carpet beneath her feet muffling the sound of her footsteps. She moved with cautious determination, her senses alert for any sign of movement or sound.

As she made her way through the house, Mehak couldn't shake the feeling of exhilaration that coursed through her veins. It was a heady sensation, the thrill of breaking free from the confines of her solitude, of reclaiming a sense of agency over her own life. And then, as she rounded a corner and stepped out into the garden, Mehak felt a sense of relief wash over her. The air was cool and crisp, the scent of blooming flowers mingling with the earthy aroma of freshly cut grass.

It was a welcome respite from the stifling confines of the house, a reminder of the beauty that existed beyond its walls. But her moment of tranquility was short-lived, as she heard the sound of footsteps approaching from behind. Mehak turned to see Farha standing at the entrance to the garden, her expression one of shock and surprise."Mehak?" Farha's voice was filled with disbelief as she took in the sight before her. "How did you come here?"Mehak offered her a sheepish smile, the corners of her lips quirking upwards in amusement.

"I was getting bored in the room," she admitted, her voice tinged with a hint of mischief.Farha shook her head in disbelief, a smile spreading across her face. "You never cease to amaze me, Mehak," she said, her tone filled with affection. As Mehak and Farha stood together in the garden, basking in the warmth of the afternoon sun,

Mehak felt a sense of gratitude wash over her. It was a small victory, perhaps, but it was one that filled her with a sense of hope for the future. And as she looked out at the world stretching out before her, Mehak knew that she was ready to embrace whatever challenges lay ahead, confident in her ability to face them head-on.

The night descended upon the household, casting a tranquil ambiance over the dining room where Ibrahim, Mehak, and their family gathered around the table. The soft glow of candlelight flickered across their faces, illuminating the warmth and camaraderie that filled the room.As they sat down to dinner, the clinking of cutlery against plates mingled with the sound of laughter and conversation, a symphony of familial bliss. Mehak felt a sense of contentment settle over her as she looked around the table, grateful for the love and support of her family.Midway through the meal, Farha's voice cut through the air, her words laden with curiosity. "Mehak, did you feel good while walking in the garden today?

"Mehak froze, her heart pounding in her chest as a wave of panic washed over her. She exchanged a quick glance with Ibrahim, her eyes widening in silent desperation, but he remained stoic, his expression unreadable.Ibrahim's sudden cessation of eating did not go unnoticed, his fork hovering in mid-air as he turned to look at Farha, his brow furrowed in confusion. "What does that mean, aunty?" he asked, his voice tinged with apprehension.Farha's gaze softened as she met Ibrahim's eyes, a knowing smile playing at the corners of her lips.

"Today, Mehak was walking in our garden," she explained gently, her tone filled with understanding. The air seemed to grow thick with tension as Ibrahim processed Farha's words, his gaze shifting to Mehak with an intensity that made her heart race. "With whose permission did you go out from the room?" he asked, his voice barely above a whisper.

Mehak felt a lump form in her throat as she met Ibrahim's gaze, her eyes brimming with unshed tears. She opened her mouth to speak, but no words came out, the weight of his question pressing down upon her like a heavy burden. As the silence stretched on, Mehak felt a hand reach out to grasp hers beneath the table, a silent gesture of solidarity and support.

She turned to see Ibrahim's eyes searching hers, his gaze filled with a mixture of concern and understanding."I'm sorry," she whispered, her voice barely audible in the hushed confines of the dining room. "I just... I needed some fresh air."Ibrahim's expression softened as he reached out to brush a tear from Mehak's cheek, his touch gentle and reassuring. "It's okay," he said softly, his voice filled with compassion.

"I understand."In that moment, the weight of Mehak's fears seemed to lift from her shoulders, replaced by a sense of relief and gratitude.
