Nanon @ 7:20 PM
"Ummm... Hi?" Ohm greeted hesitatingly.
I ignored him and turned to wave at Jay and Jean.
"Nanon... I..." He again walked closer and tried to speak.
I instead walked towards my subway.
"There is time. It's still 7:20." Ohm said another piece of nonsense.
I don't want to hear anything from him. Nothing but the response to what I had said.
Either accept it or reject it. Why is he mute?
I did not reply and folded my arms, looking in the direction of the queue in front.
"Ok, I know I am stupid. But..."
Instead, I walked ahead and joined the queue. Actually, I am scared too. Even if it is super obvious that he likes me too, a verbal guarantee is required, right?
"Nanon?" He joined me in line.
So, what now? Will he follow me home?
"Please listen to me." He said.
I did not turn to look at him. But then suddenly, I heard people gasping around me, looking at something behind my back.
On the side, I saw Jay and Jean gasping.
"Ohm?" They said.
I finally turned and froze in place, shocked.
Ohm was on his knees behind me.
"Nanon," he said.
I felt flustered. For many reasons combined.
"Ohm, what are you..." I tried to hold him up.
"Today, please let me say it." He interrupted me. "The response to what you said..."
I am not sure what is happening with me right now. But on this crowded station, all I can see is Ohm's face and his eyes. His eyes are conveying a thousand things.
I am nervous, but even more than that, I am excited.
