"Alice" Ace comes to my left I crush the paper in my hand looking at it
'no I don't want any of my brothers to see it'
"Magnolia princess" Ace shakes me a little, I look at him
"yes" I say looking at him and behind him are all of the with Robert at the door.
"are you ok? can you please show me the paper" Ace asks me
I pause for a moment and shake my head.
"Can you all leave the kitchen for a while?" I ask
"no we are not leaving" Arthur says
"show that to us NOW" Alex shouts at the end taking a step towards me making me move away from them. I simply don't want them to be stressed about this
"NO I AM NOT SHOWING ANYTHING TO ANYONE ALL OF YOU ARE LEAVING THE KITCHEN EXCEPT ROBERT" I shout
They look at me in disbelief
"Are you sure you are ok bambina?" Elijah asks me
I look at him and nod "Ok let's go guys" he says to my brothers and dad
Everyone leaves. I turn off the stove
"Robert" I call him
"yes?" he says hesitantly
"Can you ask someone to bring a bin and a lighter here?" I ask him
He looks at me "I need it now Robert" I say
"Yeah sure I will bring it now" He says and was about to move.
"No you are supposed to be here and ask one of your men to bring it, and stay here and keep everyone out for sometime" I say
While he calls his men, I go to the counter and take a kitchen towel and roll the paper in the towel
Do I burn the doll too?
The box too?
I look at Robert and see he is already looking at me
"Can we also bring the box along with the doll here?" I ask
"yes " Robert says and informs someone to bring the box
All the things arrive I place the bin near the window and lit the stupid letter and throw it in the bin.
"but Capo will be-" Robert starts but I stop him
"I am the one who received it I can do whatever I want with it" I say
He nods as soon as the paper burns and turns into askes I grab the box put the doll in the box throw it in the bin and burn the box too.
"Let's go, let it burn " I say to Robert
I exit the kitchen and see all my brothers standing near the door
"Alice what is it, you are scaring us bambina" Noah says
I smile at him "It's nothing" I say
"Alice it is no nothing tell us what it was" Alex says
"It was, it was just a small prank" I say and nod my head and yawn
"I am sleepy now let me just have a bath and go to sleep" I say and leave them.
Reaching my room I lock the door and get into the shower, flashes of the things I have gone through playing in front of me.
I try to get rid of those awful memories, removing my clothes I scrub my skin and get out of the shower and change into a hoodie and pajamas.
I go to lie down but there is knock halting my steps "Give me a minute"
I go to the washroom and wash my face trying to remove any proof of my distress and go to open the door.
"I was having a shower " I say to Ace
"Are you ok Magnolia?" he asks making me emotional I clear my throat softly
"Yes I am fine Ace" I say and fake a yawn
"Can I go to sleep if you don't mind I am really sleepy" I say and he nods
" I will join you wait for me" He says and leaves
What do I do now?
I go to the window and open it and look into the sky.
"Magnolia come let's sleep it's getting late and you are tired and sleepy" Ace says shutting the door.
"ok" I say and lie down beside him turning the other side
"princessa are you asleep?" he asks after a minute
"No Ace" I reply
"Can I ask you what happened in the kitchen a while ago?" Ace asks
Tears cloud my vision, I close my eyes trying my best not to cry
"It was nothing Ace as I said it was a bad prank" I lie
"If you don't say it we can't help you princess" he says
"I- " I don't want to trouble anyone anymore "I don't want to say anything ACE" I say
"ok fine forget it let's sleep" he says and sighs loudly
"Mag-" Ace starts but I cut him off
"Ace I want to sleep now" I say and he adjusts himself to sleep
After half an hour I let go of the tears.
I don't know what to do, but I know one thing no matter what I am not going back to that place even if it means to die I won't go.
But I also will not be able to protect myself or my people from that man.
Thinking for a solution I fall asleep.
*next morning*
I get up and do my morning routine and head to the dining area.
"Good morning" I say to my brothers present in the room, apparently all my brothers are here in the morning before me with my dad.
They greet me back, I sit between Alex and Arthur as always
"What do you want to eat today?" Elijah asks
"um p-" I was saying but get cut off by Elijah
"No don't say pancakes, I think you have eaten too many pancakes now you need a change" Elijah says
"Ok then whatever you made is good for me" I say
"that's like my sister, now; we have fruits, bacon, eggs, waffles, mango juice, green tea, coffee-" Eljiah says but I cut his long list of options and say
"waffles and mango juice please" I say and he serves me waffles
I quietly eat my waffles, I look up and see everyone is quiet today
"Ace" I call him
"Yes Magnolia" he answers me
"That day you said that you will also let me learn how to use weapons " I say and he nods
"So when do I start and who is going to teach me" I ask him
"I don't think we should be starting anytime soon you will be having your exams and you have to catch up with your studies too" he says
"I want to take a break from studies for sometime" I say and he looks at me and shakes his head
"No Alice we are not doing that" Ace says
"please Ace I promise when I join I will do my best, but now I don't think I can" I say
He looks at me and says " Ok fine "
"What" Dad says Ace gives him a look and he continues to eat his food
"And about training?" I ask
"No" he simply says
"Ok then I will learn on my own" I say
Issac coughs at this and I glare at him
"Alex will train you" he says finally
Now I am glad that I am their only sister I can make them do anything.
I turn to Alex and ask him "When are you free, when will you teach me"
He looks at his watch and says "I have a meeting after breakfast I will be back as soon as I am done with it then we can see what you can do"
Narrowing my eyes at him I agree and eat my food
As soon as I am done I ask a few things to Alex and leave
THIRD PERSON POV
"why did you agree to her?" Elijah asks Ace
"She didn't ask it just for fun I think she has her reasons after yesterday and I think as our sister we should give her whatever she wishes for" Ace explains
"But you were the one who were against it" Alex says
Ace nods "Yesterday there was something we missed but she didn't and she couldn't sleep and was crying for three hours. I don't think it is a matter to let go especially if she concluded that she needs to learn how to use weapons"
"So you are saying?" Arthur asks
"that let her feel safe and let's see how we can make her ask what is it that it is bothering her" Ace says
"So you are the elder one here, she will tell you if you ask" Arthur says
"No she didn't, I asked and she just lied" Ace replies and looks at Noah
"Do you think you can make her say anything?" he asks Noah
"I will try to ask her" Noah says
They all leave the matter for now and head to their work
*somewhere in another country*
"Hello" Silas answers the phone
"sir" the man conveys all the incidents happened in the mansion last night
"ok let me know if something happens and don't let anyone know about you " Silas says and hangs up
Silas looks at the phone and rings Igor
"Hello" Silas says
"Hello why are you calling me?" Igor asks
"I want to work with you" he says
"Why will I let you work with me?" Igor asks
"Because I have been removed from the country and I will be useful as I have information on them" Silas says
"ok fine you can come here " Igor replies
"thanks bye" Silas says hanging up the phone
"You have disappointed me and hurt me by your actions Silas. I hope this will change you for good. Be safe and leave before your father does anything" Sarah my mom said to me
A tear escapes Silas eyes "I will not" he says leaving the room and starts packing his clothes
