Batman woke up in a state of disorientation, feeling queasy and disorientated. He struggled to suppress a groan and gradually opened his eyes. His initial vision was blurred, and his eyes felt scratchy and dehydrated. He blinked several times, and the blur began to dissipate, though his eyes still throbbed with an aching pain. He felt a chill rising up from his extremities, and as he tried to move, he realized that cold, unyielding metal restraints clamped down his wrists, ankles, and chest.

Bruce gingerly tried to move his head, but his neck muscles popped and strained painfully. He looked around the dimly lit room, trying to gather his bearings. In the shadows, he could make out the faint hum of machinery and the metallic clang of a conveyor belt running to his left. He squinted his eyes and saw a few metal crates slowly moving down the conveyor belt, labeled with the words 'GATEWAY TECH' in bold letters.

Bruce's sharp mind raced as he tried to make sense of his surroundings. Gateway Tech? What was that all about? He turned his head to the right and saw an EXIT sign above a door, the only light source in the room. But the room was windowless, and the air was musty and stale, making it impossible to tell whether it was day or night outside.

As Bruce's gaze drifted down, he noticed that he was strapped to a cold, complex steel table, and medical tools were neatly arranged on a smaller table beside him. He couldn't help but shudder at the sight of the ominous devices, realizing that he was in a precarious and perilous situation and needed to act quickly to extricate himself from this predicament.

The room is deathly quiet, and the only sound that can be heard is the thudding of Batman's heart and his labored breathing. He's struggling against the restraints, the metal chains that bind him rattling against the table. Suddenly, a sharp pain shoots through his chest, causing him to gasp. He feels another jolt of pain in his wrists and ankles, and he clenches his jaw in response. He stops moving, trying to relax his body and ease the pain. Gradually, his breathing slows, and the sharp pain fades away.

As he looks around, he notices that the chains have tiny teeth that are digging into his suit and his skin. He raises an eyebrow in surprise and slowly moves his right wrist, watching as the small teeth on the chain reach through his suit and poke into his skin. Despite the discomfort, he remains calm and focused, determined to find a way to escape his restraints and uncover the truth behind his captivity.

Bruce Wayne, the brooding superhero, scrutinizes his right hand. His movements are slow and deliberate as he reveals the palm of his hand. There, he sees a small button on the glove, which he presses carefully with his middle finger. A tiny red light begins to blink, and he breathes a sigh of relief, knowing that his tracking device, for Foxy, is still intact.

He turns his attention to the crates labeled Gateway and realizes that he's in Gateway City. This is Wonder Woman's hometown, a place he has never been before. Suddenly, the exit door opens, and four shadowy figures approach him. Batman quickly hides the blinking light, his senses heightened as Scarecrow, Riddler, Joker, and Harley Quinn surround him.

The Joker's twisted grin widens, and he speaks up, "Glad to see you again, Batman. It's been a few weeks." Batman narrows his eyes, trying to recall what has happened to him during this time. He wonders if they have done something to him that he's not aware of besides being drugged. Meanwhile, Scarecrow and Riddler gather tools from the table, preparing for their next move.

Harley Quinn stood tall at the head of the table, where Batman was bound and strapped down. Her eyes darted back and forth between the Joker and Batman, her expression a mix of sadness and apprehension. The Joker, cackling maniacally, explained his nefarious plan: "My laughing drugs are far more potent than any laughing gas! Haha! And now that they're complete and ready, your apprentice, Shadow Fox, won't be able to stop me. I have her on a wild goose chase. Hahaha!"

As the Joker continued to rant, Harley's arms crossed over her chest, and something flickered in her eyes that Batman noticed. Curiosity piqued. He watched as Harley lowered her hands, revealing a phone that was on call. Batman's sharp eyes quickly scanned the screen and saw that it had Hazelle's number on dial.

Just as Batman began to piece together the situation, Harley locked eyes with him and winked, leaving him baffled. What could it mean? Was Harley trying to send him a message? Harley turned her head towards the Joker and exclaimed, "Oh, Mister J! I think everything is going to end perfectly!" However, Batman sensed that her excitement was fake. He looked down and saw that Shadow Fox had answered the phone call but was not saying anything.

With her trademark mischievous grin, Harley Quinn has managed to pull off a daring feat - she's concealed the phone from Joker, Scarecrow, and Riddler as she stands towering above Batman. Bruce Wayne's heart starts pounding in his chest as he wonders whether Shadow Fox, his trusted ally, knows what Harley is up to and why she has his daughter's number. A sense of unease and foreboding grips him as he can't help but wonder, "Does Harley Quinn know my true identity under the Batman mask?"

As he tries to make sense of the situation, Joker, the Clown Prince of Crime, takes a syringe from Riddler and responds to Harley's statement with a smug grin, "Of course, my dear. It will end perfectly. Once Batman is out of the picture, Gotham City will be mine! Hahaha!"

Batman finds himself trapped and vulnerable in this tense and dangerous situation, with his most dangerous enemies closing in on him. The stakes are high, as the fate of Gotham City hangs in the balance, and the slightest misstep could cost him dearly.

Harley Quinn's hand descended gently onto Batman's shoulder, causing him to flinch involuntarily. The look she gave him was reassuring, and her head shook slightly, conveying the message without words: "Trust me."

To Batman's left stood Riddler and Scarecrow, both men looking on with an air of superiority as they watched Batman's predicament. The dim light cast deep shadows across the room, adding to the sense of foreboding.

In the dimly-lit factory, the shadows seemed to take on a life of their own. From within the darkness, three distinct shapes began to emerge, their outlines gradually sharpening as they drew closer. Batman's sharp senses immediately picked up on the movement and he turned his head to face the figures, his heart racing as he assessed the potential threat.

As he focused on the shapes, he couldn't help but notice Harley's strange behavior. She stood stock still, her phone clutched tightly in her hand as she watched the figures with a mixture of fear and fascination. Her eyes flicked nervously back and forth between the figures and Batman, as if she was trying to convey something to him without speaking.

Batman tried to identify the figures, but their features remained shrouded in the deepening shadows. Were they friend or foe? He couldn't tell yet, but he knew that he needed to be ready for anything. He tries to move, his hand instinctively trying to reach for a batrang that isn't there, but the straps grounded him.

The tension in the air was palpable, and every breath seemed to echo through the dark factory. The only sound was the soft rustling of fabric as the figures drew nearer, their intentions still unknown. Batman steeled himself for whatever was to come, his mind focused and his senses on high alert.

Meanwhile, Joker moved closer to Harley, his gleeful and menacing grin. Harley quickly pocketed her phone, knowing that Shadow Fox was still on the call with her, but she remained silent.

Joker's voice was filled with malice as he spoke to Batman. His words dripped with sadistic pleasure, promising nothing but pain. "This is going to be so much fun," He taunted, eyes shining with cruel amusement. A message popped on her screen as Harley glanced down at her phone: "We are here."

Joker tightened his grip on Batman's arm, the syringe held menacingly in his other hand. The sharp glint of the needle was visible in the dim light. "Are you ready to feel pain, Batman?" He asked, his voice low and menacing. Batman's eyes narrowed as he braced himself for the inevitable.

The scene is tense as Joker menacingly approaches Batman with a syringe in hand, poised to inject him with an unknown drug. Just as he lowers the needle towards Batman's arm, Harley taps on his shoulder three times, signaling her presence. The needle pierces through Batman's suit and into his veins, causing an intense burning sensation that spreads throughout his body. Despite his valiant efforts to break free, Batman is unable to move away due to the shackles on his body. Meanwhile, Harley steps away from Batman, her eyes filled with terror at the sight of the strange drug taking effect.

Batman's body is violently wracked with convulsions, causing him to writhe in agony. The shackles that bind him are equipped with sharp teeth that pierce his flesh with each passing moment, eliciting screams of distress and pain. In the midst of his suffering, Joker, Scarecrow, and Riddler can be heard laughing heartily, seemingly deriving pleasure from the Dark Knight's torment.

Meanwhile, Harley watches as the scene unfolds with growing anxiety, her heart pounding in her chest as she prays for the swift arrival of Shadow Fox and the Justice League. Every second that ticks by feels like an eternity, and she can only hope that they will arrive in time to rescue Batman before it's too late.

Suddenly, the sound of an engine roars in the distance, growing louder by the second. A black motorcycle smashes through the door, shattering it into pieces. As the dust clears, Harley's expression changes from fear to elation as she sees the person on the motorcycle is accompanied by the Justice League. Their arrival is just in time to save Batman from the dangerous situation he is in.

"Batman!" Was that Superman?

As the Joker, Riddler, and Scarecrow whirl around in surprise, Batman clenches his teeth, holding back his screams from the unknown drug coursing through his veins. He's still strapped to the table, his muscles tensed and his heart pounding in his chest. Meanwhile, Shadow Fox revs her bike in fury, her eyes blazing with determination. She's flanked by the Justice League, each member standing tall and ready to fight.

The Joker's twisted smile stretches across his face as he takes in the scene before him. "Well, well, well, what do we have here?" He sneers, "I see the Bat has some new friends. How cute."

The Riddler chimes in with a smirk, "Yes, it seems our little party just got a bit more lively. Shall we give them a proper welcome?"

Scarecrow nods in agreement, his eyes gleaming with malice, "Yes, let's show them what happens to those who dare to cross us."

As the three villains take a step forward, the tension in the room reaches a fever pitch. But the Justice League stands firm, their weapons at the ready and their resolve unbreakable. They know that this is the moment they've been training for, the moment they must prove themselves as the defenders of justice and protectors of the innocent.
