I gasp loudly.
Is this how I'm about to die?
The moment the car went off the bridge, in seconds the car hit the water below and began to sink to the bottom of the sea or is it an ocean?
The water started entering the car and I looked at Fire to see if he was okay, luckily enough he looked okay.
I searched for my phone and found it, but unfortunately it's showing no signal. I groan loudly, slamming my hand on the steering wheel as I shouted, "Fucking hell!"
I tried calling someone either way, it wasn't going through.
Not surprising.
I had to get us out of this car, before it filled to the top with water.
"Come on, boy." I secured the leash around his neck properly.
I'm not worried about him because I know dogs can swim, so he'll be good.
I tried opening the car door, but to my surprise it's stuck.
What the hell?
I pushed and pushed, but it wouldn't budge at all. The car was filling up fast and we had to get out before it filled to the top.
I moved to the back and tried opening the back door which wasn't opening either. Now the water was halfway up to the top.
What to do? If I break it, the water is just gonna cover us immediately. Am I ready for that?
I sigh.
What was I thinking, driving off a bridge.
Oh wait, I wasn't thinking at all.
Just listening to that annoying voice in my head, that's not real.
I wrapped my hand up with a cloth, before slamming my fist into the car window, smashing the glass. The moment the glass broke, water splashed on us and covered us.
I gasp in shock, because I wasn't prepared at all.
I held my breath and stretched my hand out to pull the door open, which finally decided to open.
If the situation wasn't serious, I would be laughing at the fact that Fire was swimming like a pro.
I swam out of the car and tried going to the top of the water where I could get some air. It took a good time to reach the top and I had to wonder how deep this thing actually is.
When I finally got up there with Fire, I saw him pushing up his head as well, out of the water.
I looked around and noticed that we're surrounded by pure water.
Oh God.
We're in the middle of it all and what's worse is that the place is dark, I can hardly see a thing.
Have you ever watched the movie 'Nowhere'? That's exactly how it looked right now.
The only difference is that the bridge is here and we can see it but it looks far away. The cars up there looked like those kids car toys from down here.
Oh shit, I wonder if there's sharks? I very fucking hope not.
I looked around more and I could see a piece of land, but that was very far away and I don't think the dog could swim that far.
Could I even swim that far?
I trembled at the coldness of the breeze that's blowing and the cold water that's surrounding my body.
"Fire, I know you must hate my guts right now." I sigh and look at the dog, "Look what I did to you, I stabbed you in the leg and now I got us stranded in the middle of the sea or is it an ocean?"
I don't know, because this shit is deep that it would take about ten or more of me being a ladder to touch the bottom.
The dog barks and licks my face as if telling me it's okay.
I feel like I want to cry right now and I don't know why. I'm feeling way too emotional, like what's wrong with me?
I saw a piece of my car part popped off and I hurriedly put my both hands over it as I held onto it for balance.
I grabbed onto the leash and pulled Fire closer to me, "You okay, boy?" He only whined in response.
I'm so fucking cold.
I scratched Fire's head as his two front legs rested on my shoulder and I held onto him.
"What were you even doing with an owner like that anyway?" I ask the dog who whined again, "He was fucking despicable. Did you know he had the nerve to arrest my husband?" I scoff.
Fire growled.
"Yes! I'm mad too. He arrested my husband who's gonna be your dad soon. That's why I killed his ass, he deserved it." I frown.
Fire's tail wiggled as his tongue came out his mouth happily.
"Hey now, let's pray we make it out here alive first." I said and he made a small groan noise.
"But guess what? Your dad and I plan on having eighteen kids." I said to him and he barked, "Hm, eight humans, five turtles and five puppy dogs like you." I paused, "Well, I guess four now because I found you and I'm keeping you."
He barks loudly, before licking my face again. I scrunch my face up from the saliva he left. "That's nasty dude, did you even brush your tongue?"
He growls.
"Okay!" I held my hand up in surrender.
Is he really understanding what I'm saying?
I'm definitely losing it, here I am talking to a dog who probably doesn't know what I'm saying.
What has my life come to?
My mind flashed on Blaze and my family.
Does anybody even know what happened yet? Do they think I'm dead? Of course anyone would think I'm dead from driving off a high fucking bridge like that one.
I hope someone finds us soon.
I hope that crazy father I have doesn't go crazy when he finds out I'm missing.
"I wonder if your dad dropped the soap?" I wondered out to Fire who looked at me confused, "What? I'm just wondering since I found out he's probably bisexual, I don't think it would matter."
He whined.
"I find bisexual men so hot. I mean, all genders are beautiful so why would you not be attracted to both? That's just crazy. I'm bisexual too, I like women and men, but I've never—"
Fire looked away from me.
"Okay, I guess you didn't want to hear that part." I mumbled, "Kaizen my brother was supposed to get him out of jail by now, I hope he did."
I sighed loudly.
I can't stay in one place for too long, it gets my head crazy and my mind thinking crazy.
I'm bored.
Blaze P.O.V
"Where is she?" I ask the minute I stepped out of the station.
I heard about the three officers who got their house burnt down with them inside. How coincidental is it that it's the same three officers who had me arrested?
I've heard the gossip in the station from the rest of the officers.
I have a deep feeling that it's Azurra's doing.
I also heard them talking about someone who drove their car over the bridge on the highway after getting chased by the police.
What a crazy person that is, definitely suicidal and needs to be put in a mental institution if they're alive.
I shook my head and turned my attention back to Kaizen.
"She's supposed to be back home by now." He shrugs.
Hopefully she'll be home.
I don't know how Kaizen even got me out of jail, but right now I didn't even care. I'm just happy to be out, because I've seen some scary ass dudes that's in there.
Kaizen's phone rang and his eyes widened before he hurriedly picked it up. "Freckles?"
My brows raised in surprise at how gentle he sounded just now.
"Why the fuck are you drunk in a bar alone? Where are you?"
.......
"I swear to God, if any of those men dare to touch you—"
.......
"Hm. Keep talking Kataleya, ima fuck you up mama." He removed the phone from his ears and started typing fast before he grins, "Gotcha."
He turned to me, "Listen, I have to go to the bar right now. Find your way home or something."
"But—"
He was already in his car as he sped off and my mouth dropped, realizing he left me alone.
A minute later, I heard a car reversing back in speed and realized that it was him again.
"Get in." He sighed and I quickly got in. "Only because I don't want Azurra on my ass for leaving you alone." He rolled his eyes, "You're coming to the club with me."
My eyes widened.
"No, I want to go home to Azu. Just drop me home, bruh." I mumbled.
He groans loudly, "Get out and start walking then nigga. I said I need tah get to the damn club before freckles do something to piss me off."
"Who is freckles?" I asked him, curiously.
He frowns, "Don't call her that, I'm the only one who gets to call her that and she's just my...." He paused, "My wife."
I choked on air as my eyes widened. "W-Wife? You're married?"
He scoffed, "No I'm not married, but she's my wife." Then he whispers, "She just doesn't know it yet."
Oh wow.
They're all crazy.
We got to the club in no time, passing the scene where the person drove off the bridge. It was blocked off and filled with yellow tapes.
I rolled my eyes when they weren't even doing anything to find out if the person was alive or not.
I pushed that off my mind as we entered the noisy club.
I hate these types of scenes.
I followed behind Kaizen who had an angry look on his face as he approached a woman who might I say looked stunning, but obviously she seems older than us, but it didn't even show if I'm being honest.
She could pass for 20 and I'm not even kidding.
"Zenny!" She slurred and her eyes lit up as she saw him. "Y-You came."
He sighed, but glared at the man beside her who was trying to flirt with her. "Beat it, fucker." The man ran off in a different direction. "Freckles baby?"
"Yes daddy?"
My jaw dropped, I think I need to bleach my ears after this.
Kaizen eyed me before sighing, "C'mere, we need to go."
"I'm horny." She slurred as he sat in the backseat with her on his lap.
"Sure you are. Tomorrow you'll remember how much you hate me, so I'm not touching you." He shrugs and throws his keys at me, "Drive back to the house."
I tuned them out as I drove the car back to the house. I couldn't wait to reach home to my wife and maybe cuddle.
The moment I reached and parked, I ran out of the car leaving them as I ran into my house.
Kaizen went over to his house, carrying the woman with him.
This is weird.
Azurra would have surely met me halfway, but I didn't hear her or anything.
The moment I ran into the house, I stopped in my tracks when I saw her entire family.
Sander, Honey, Kaizan (the other twin), Rome, Natalia and Benjamin.
"We've been waiting for you."
Okay, something is definitely wrong.
"Okay, but could I go see Azu first then we'll talk? Good yeah? Okay." I walked off, but stopped when Sander called out.
"She's not here, dumbass."
What?
"Where is she then?" I questioned.
"Probably in the bottom of the sea dead, after driving off a fucking bridge." Sander says bluntly and Honey hits him, who looks like she was crying.
I know it sounds like Sander doesn't care or sounds like he isn't a good father, but trust me, he does care and he is a damn good father.
That's just how he is because of his mental illness. He says things just how it is, he's blunt and doesn't know how bad things sound when he says them out like that.
Wait, did he say drove off a bridge?
Was it her this whole time?
I passed the scene two fucking times and didn't know it was her.
Oh my fucking shit.
"S-She's alive right?" I panicked.
"Yes—"
"Maybe—"
"30% chance—"
I honestly don't even know who answered at the moment. I was too busy freaking out about all the possibilities running through my mind.
"Why are you guys still here then?" I question snappily.
"Waiting for my helicopters to land here, so we can fly over the sea and look for them. Those bastard police won't do it, so might as well we do." Sander shrugs.
He has helicopters? Nevermind, it's not the time.
As if on cue, we heard the sounds of helicopters landing and we all rushed outside to see four helicopters.
If Azurra wasn't possibly in danger right now, I would be jumping up and down in happiness. I've never been in one before and I can't wait.
I don't think it's the same experience as a plane, so I always wanted to try it out.
Time to go get my wife back.
Hopefully, she's alive and well.
