Y/N POV
I pressed onto the buttons with pace while taking quick glances at the screen,for some reason I wanted to view the pre schools around the area.
I don't want to put Daniel in school yet but I know it would be good for him and probably for me,it gives Lexi and my brothers a break from babysitting when I'm at work.
Though,I'll still be worried on how he's doing but that's just my mother's instincts.My mother always wanted to know what my brothers and I were doing 24/7 even when we got older
She always told me that a mother's job is never finish unless you're 6 feet under,I honestly agree and I will be doing same for my son.
I heard my phone begin to ring on my nightstand,I raised a brow.who would call me at this time? Then I figured miguel which cause me to smirk
I reached over and automatically swiped to answer,I lift it up to my ear "hello?" I greeted though I already knew who it was
"Hello y/n" the voice on the other line spoke,my eyes immediately looked away from my laptop.I knew this voice and it wasn't miguel
"Leandro" I muttered,he chuckled
"Hey honey,how are you doing" he says
"What do you want" I sternly spoke as I sat myself up against my head board "that's now how you use to speak to me" he said
"How's little daniel? He's cute" I looked over at daniel who was fast asleep on his stomach next to me,his small lips parted with the soft snores coming from him
"What do you care" I ask as I carefully moved my laptop from my lap,I stood up from my bed before walking out the bedroom while leaving the door half open behind me
"That's my kid y/n"
"You didn't want him to be your kid in the first place" I whispered loudly,I made my way downstairs quickly clicking on the light
The living room shined as the kitchen stayed dark "now you know that's not true" he lied,I scoffed
"How did you get my number"I asked as I place my hand on my hip
"I know my ways,Can we meet tomorrow? Get some dinner?" He suggested
My eyebrows furrowed of his stupidity "Are you fucking kidding me?" I snapped,he laughed as I lowered my phone to text my brothers
I quickly placed it against my ear after they agreed to coming over "y/n we can work it out,I can finally be the father you wanted me to be"
"Now? You want to be a father now? Fuck that" I say
"That kid needs a father.Who the hell is gonna be his dad? That asshole you were with at the fair?" My heart dropped as I completely forgot about him seeing me with Miguel
"That's none of your business" I say through my teeth,he cackled once again
"I'm blood y/n,if you give him to me I'll prove it to you" I sarcastically laughed
"You're not touching my child nor going near him,I'm his mother and I'm the one that kept him.I'm the one that birthed him while you were drinking and cheating on me with those bitches from the streets"
"That's in the past y/n! I've matured-
"Bullshit leandro.You won't change and I don't believe in that,you can rot in hell" I say before hanging up
I flopped back on my couch,I covered my face.I wanted to avoid this and this is what I didn't want to deal with,he knows who I associate with and he could probably know where I live
The front door slowly opened,i glance over seeing josh and Carlos wearing their hoodies over their head.I chuckled knowing they thought things were gonna get hectic
"You okay?" Josh asked while quickly rushing over to me,I shrugged "what did he say?"
"He wants to be a father to Daniel" I say,Carlos cursed under his breath
"He can go fuck himself if he thinks he can be a father now after how long?" Carlos says with an attitude,I shook my head
"Hey" josh starts as he sat himself next to me "we don't mind if you and Daniel stay with us"
"Oh no,I'm not staying with you guys if you guys are gonna party-
"We don't do that anymore" josh argues,Carlos gives him a look "okay we won't do that anymore"
"Are you sure?" I asked while glancing at Carlos,he nodded after crossing his arms
"Yeah cause who knows if the asshole knows where you live" Carlos states,i sighed
"Well heads up,Lexi likes to come over a lot just to have my company" I said
"That's not a problem" josh smirks,I rolled my eyes before standing up
"I'll go pack for me and danny then.Thanks guys" josh lightly smiles at me while Carlos nodded,I made my way upstairs
LEXI POV
I wrapped my hair up into a small bun;letting my bangs stay against my forehead.I yawned while going downstairs to get a quick drink per usual
I quickly froze up seeing Leandro sitting in my one chair that rocks,my heart rate went up
"Hey Lexi" he greets with a smirk,I couldn't respond.I felt stuck "don't you look pretty"
I hated Leandro.He was flirty and even while with y/n he always tried to get into my pants but I didn't budge,y/n is like my sister
I smacked him the last time he tried when y/n announced she was pregnant with Daniel,he didn't want to be with her anymore so he tried crawling to me
He stood up from the chair,walking over to me "I wanted to ask where your best friend lays her nice head at" he spoke
"I'm not giving you shit" I spat,he strikes me across the face making me fall.He grabbed me by my hair;pulling me closer to his face
I whined in pain "you tell me where that bitch stays or I'll ruin that cute face of yours" he threatened
He pierced his eyes into mine,i panted out of breath "go for it..asshole" I breathed out
I would never give out y/n's address to a person that I know would hurt her and my godson,I'll take a bullet for them just so they can be happy.
She's been through enough and she doesn't need anymore,I grew up the opposite.I was spoiled but humbled and I'll forever protect y/n
He tossed me over into my living room,My body knocked over the things on my coffee table as I almost landed on the ground but he immediately grabbed me by my throat
He then pushed me down so I hit my back of my head,I groaned "give it up" he demanded
I didn't answer causing him to pushed me down again,feeling the throbbing of the back of my head start.
He dragged me off the table,letting me hit my back on the hard wooden floor.tears fell as I knew I will go through more pain knowing Leandro "tell me where she is!" He yelled
"Go to hell" I say while narrowing my eyes
Finally,he hovered over me as he placed both of his hands on my throat beginning to choke me.My eyes widen feeling air leaving through my lungs
I kept hitting him trying to push him away,my ears began ringing as he chuckled seeing me struggle to breathe
"Charlie!" I shouted through my tears,Leandro's eyebrows furrowed "Max!!"
We both heard a door from upstairs push open slowly before nails tapping against the floor,Leandro turned as I began smiling through my bloody mouth
"Shit." He mumbled seeing Max,my Rottweiler and Charlie,my Doberman dashing down the stairs.He jumped up and head for the front door
I coughed adjusting to the air,my dogs glance at me as Leandro unlocked the front door then booked it out of my house
"Follow him!" I told them while pointing outside,they quickly ran out after him
I groaned trying to sit up while hearing my dogs barking out on the street,I winced as I gently brushed against the back of my head
I cried at the blood that was on the tip of my fingers..
I know I haven't been active but I was writing this while not being active so ntm on me
