King Dice smiles "Maybe."
"What's that supposed ta mean?" Cuphead asks
Mugman says "they're probably saying that he might love us as his own kids like, he could be a father figure or if we were just his employees aka 'work buddies' as you say it."
"Ohhh.." Cuphead says, now understanding.
The devil smiles, his arm around King Dice "Do you?"
"As I said, Maybe." King Dice says
The devil teleports to the wall near them and leans on it
Cuphead asks "Do you love us like ya own kids?" A big childish grin appeared on his face
"Yeah, I do." King Dice says
Cuphead hugs him "You're an amazing father-figure!"
King Dice hugs him back and chuckles "Oh really now?"
Cuphead nods and Mugman smiles.
King Dice pats Cuphead's back "Well you're an amazing kid, Cuphead."
Cuphead says "Thanks, I needed that.."
"You are very welcome!" King Dice replies "Mugman, get in here.."
Mugman looks like he's about to cry, leaning on a table "But- Sir it's unprofessional!" He wipes his tears but they come back when he blinks.
"I'm giving you permission Mugs.." King Dice says in a soothing tone
Mugman hugs King Dice and Cuphead and starts crying
King Dice rubs Mugman's back "It's okay Mugman.. We've got ya."
"Don't worry brother, everything's going to be okay.." Cuphead says
Mugman asks "Are- Are ya sure?.." he sniffles
King Dice says "We're sure, Mugman. Don't worry bout' a single thing, okay?.."
Mugman nods "I-.. love you dad..."
"I love ya too Mugs.." King Dice says.
(Kinda close to them)
Sally smiles with a hand on her hip "That's pretty cute, if ya ask me. Ain't it cute Hilda?"
"It's cute alright." Hilda says
The devil replies "You guys are not wrong, This is my family for ya."
