The next morning, Jimin gently helped Jungkook wipe his face, arms, and elbows, displaying a tenderness that belied his attempts to appear disinterested. Though Jungkook remained in a drowsy state, he didn't open his eyes abruptly and remained silent.

After that he packed up and decided to leave, Jimin paused, contemplating something before asking, "Hyung, do you need anything? I can bring it to you tonight."

Jungkook, still groggy, responded with half-opened eyes. "I have my apartment keys in my jacket. You can take them and help me bring the laptop into my bedroom."

Jimin hesitated before asking, "What do you need your laptop for?"

Jungkook opened his eyes and smiled, saying nothing in response.

Jimin's expression turned sour as he exclaimed, "You're supposed to be taking a day off, and you're sick! Why would you want to work? Your boss won't even give you extra money for it."

Jungkook looked at him, remaining silent.

Jimin sighed, frustration evident in his voice. "I won't bring you the laptop. I'll bring you the other things. I'm leaving now."

After leaving the hospital, Jimin finds himself on the Metro. He decides to check Eunwoo's voice notes and hears him inviting him to join him and his friends at a arcade. he also offers to pick him up.

Jimin hesitates for a moment before replying, "I'm sorry, I didn't see my phone last night. Thanks for caring."

Once back at the dorm, Jimin takes a refreshing shower and changes into fresh clothes. Feeling energized, he heads to the classroom building for his classes. It's a busy Friday with classes scheduled from morning until 6:00 p.m., leaving him with no time to eat. After his last class, he quickly takes the Metro and makes his way to Jungkook's apartment.

Exiting the Metro station, Jimin takes out his phone and uses the maps app to navigate his way to Jungkook's apartment. He follows the directions, there's a restaurant and a small supermarket nearby. Jimin enters Jungkook's residential area. He takes the elevator all the way up to the fifteenth floor.

On that floor, there are four apartments, and Jungkook's room faces the south. Jimin unlocks the door with the key and steps inside. Since it's his first time in the apartment, he tries to find the light switch to brighten up the room.

The room has a stylish design with dark colors. The living room features a sofa and coffee tables in a sleek dark grey shade. The walls are painted in a similar color, creating a sophisticated atmosphere. The wooden floor is adorned with a square-shaped, dark-colored carpet in the middle.

As Jimin takes a look around, he notices a half-opened book on the sofa, along with a tall reading lamp right beside it. The curtain is closed, giving the room a slightly subdued vibe.

Jimin takes off his shoes and looks at the only slippers on the shoe cupboards. He hesitates whether he should wear them or not. At last, he decides to just wear his socks and starts thinking about what he should bring with him.

As he looks around the living room, his eyes land on three photo frames placed on the shelves above the TV. One of them is a photo of Jungkook and all his roommates wearing their graduation robes. The next frame holds a photo of Jimin and Jungkook during their own graduation ceremony. It's the first time Jimin has seen that particular photo, so he can't help but take a moment to really look at it.

In the picture, Jimin reach up to Jungkook's shoulder. They both look so young. Jimin was wearing a light blue sweatshirt, while Jungkook has his hand placed casually on Jimin's head, sporting a bright and cheerful smile, showing off his bunny teeth.

It's a really nice photo,

Jimin bit his bottom lip and quickly grabs his phone to capture a photo of the graduation picture.

But then his attention is drawn to the last photo frame, holding an old group photo. The difference in hue immediately catches his eye, indicating that it was taken a long time ago. In the photo, Jungkook appears to be around ten years old, wearing his high school uniform. Standing beside him is a woman who is slightly shorter than him, but they both have radiant smiles on their faces.

Jimin's eyes widen in realization as he understands the identity of the woman in the photo. She's Jungkook's mother. Feeling a mix of surprise and warmth, Jimin kneels down and gathers his thoughts before speaking.

"Um, Hello, Auntie.  I'm Jimin, I'm Jungkook's friend's brother," he says slowly, trying to convey his connection to Jungkook.

After a few seconds, Jimin continues to look at the photo, "Jungkook hyung didn't come home yesterday because he's sick. He had a serious stomach ache, but it's nothing serious. Now I'm here to bring some things for him. Please don't worry."

Jimin quickly stands up and grabs his phone to search for a list of things that might be needed for hospitalization. His eyes scan the search results, and one item catches his attention: "well-fitting clothes."

With a determined expression, he turns his gaze towards Jungkook's wardrobe. Opening it up, he sees two boxes of underwear, Without hesitation, he tosses them into the bag he brought along.

As he stands there, contemplating whether he should grab more clothes, his eyes land on a familiar-looking tie. It triggers a memory of the last time he visited Busan and gave it to Jungkook as a birthday present.

But then, in a sudden change of heart, Jimin closes the wardrobe. He decides to let go of the tie, realizing that being there for Jungkook in his time of need is more important than holding onto material possessions.

Later, Jimin leaves Jungkook's apartment and patiently waits for the elevator. He takes a quick glance at his phone to check the time before tucking it back into his pocket. Just as he does, the elevator arrives.

As Jimin steps inside, he notices a woman already in the elevator. Her delicate and pretty face catches his attention, and he can't help but notice her stylish branded clothes and the thick scent of her perfume. It seems like she's trying to make a phone call, but there's no answer, and her expression turns sour.

The woman glances at Jimin and decides to exit the elevator, leaving him alone inside. Jimin, unfazed by the encounter, simply ignores her hopping in the elevator.

Just as the doors are about to close, Jimin catches a glimpse of the woman heading in the direction of Jungkook's apartment. However, he also considers the possibility that she might be going to another unit nearby. Not dwelling on it too much, Jimin lowers his head and lets the thought pass.

In this moment, Jimin chooses not to jump to conclusions or overthink the situation, focusing instead on his task of bringing things for Jungkook.

~

After a whole day, Jungkook is finally discharged from the hospital in the afternoon. Jimin rushes over to hospital with Jungkook's belongings, help him with everything.

As they leave the hospital, Jimin offers his arm for support, making sure Jungkook feels steady on his feet. They take slow, careful steps, understanding that Jungkook may still need some time to fully regain his strength.

Once they arrive at Jungkook's place, Jimin takes charge of tidying up all the things. He starts by organizing Jungkook's belongings, putting things back in their proper places. Then, jungkook gathers up all his hospital clothes and heads to the laundry room to wash them. Afterward, he puts everything back in its place.

After all the work Jungkook settles on the comfy sofa, opening his laptop, jimin sits down beside Jungkook and takes out a stack of sticky notes from his bag. He starts scribbling on the stack of bright, colorful sticky notes. With each note, he carefully writes down specific instructions for Jungkook's post care, making sure not to miss any important details.

Curiosity piqued, Jungkook tears his gaze away from the screen and looks at Jimin with genuine interest. " What are you writing, Jimin!"

"I'm writing down all the things you need to remember after being discharged," Jimin explains. "I'll make a list and stick it on the fridge. Just make sure to pay attention to it when you're eating."

Since it's Jimin's first time taking care of someone, he might miss a few things. But he can always search for information on the internet to make sure he's doing everything right.

Jungkook nods and listens attentively.

"Oh, and one more thing," Jimin adds. "Make sure you don't sit for too long after eating. It's important to move around and take short walks. And try not to have greasy or spicy food for a While."

"Okay, got it," Jungkook replies.

Jimin continues, "If you need anything, just let me know. If I have free time, I'll come to check on you."

Jungkook nods again, understanding the situation.

"Will you be able to take care of yourself?" Jimin says with concern.

"Yeah, I will," Jungkook assures him.

Jimin then mentions. "I originally wanted to treat you to a meal, but let's wait until you're feeling better."

Jungkook laughs lightly. "No need for you to treat me, Jimin. I'll be the one treating you."

Jimin smiles looking at jungkook, "We'll see about that when the time comes."

Then He quickly put down his pen, stood up, and stuck the sticky notes on the fridge. Then Jimin went back to the living room and put on his coat.

"Then, I'll leave first." Jimin said.

Jungkook stood up and offered, "I'll walk you to the bus stop."

But Jimin shook his head and said, "No need. You just came from the hospital and you should rest a bit."

Jungkook hesitated for a moment but eventually agreed.

"The Metro station isn't too far from here, and I know the way well," Jimin assured him as he put on his shoes.

He waved goodbye to Jungkook and left the apartment.

With a light 'bang', the door closed, and the room fell silent. Jungkook stared at the closed door in a daze then hurriedly went to put on his jacket.

He left the apartment too, hoping to catch a glimpse of Jimin, but he couldn't find him. He sighed and returned to the apartment.

~

So, as time went on, Within just three days, Jungkook's health started to improve, and he went back to his normal, self. Jimin who had been giving Jungkook strict instructions to rest, take his medication, and eat healthy with his help Jungkook recover fastly.

feeling better jungkook, started to venture out and resume his usual activities. He even went back to work at his company. Meanwhile, Jimin found himself caught up in the whirlwind of exams. He had to buckle down and focus on his studies, which kept him quite busy.

Despite their different paths during this time, Jimin and Jungkook always found ways to stay connected. They would exchange messages, share snippets of their day.

And so, as the days turned into weeks and the weeks into months,

Jimin found himself in his dorm lazily resting on his bed. While his three roommates were eagerly making plans to celebrate the exams holiday, they asked jimin if he wanted to come with them to celebrate but Jimin politely declined the invitations, preferring instead to spend the evening in the comfort of his own company.

With a firm resolve, Jimin mapped out his evening. First on the plan was ordering some takeaway. He had a craving for his favorite dishes and knew just the place to satisfy his culinary desires. As he munched on his potato chips, he dialed the number, ready to place his order.

But just as he was about to finalize his food choices, his phone rang. Startled, he glanced at the caller ID and saw that it was none other than Jungkook, his mischievous and spontaneous friend. Curiosity piqued, Jimin answered the call, his mouth still full of chips.

"Jimin, what are you doing?" Jungkook's voice lazily echoed through the phone.

Jimin checked the time and replied, "I'm getting ready to call for some takeaway. Why, what's up?"

"Don't you have any plans for the post-exam break, Jimin. Aren't you going to celebrate it outside with your friends tonight?"

Jimin's eyebrows furrowed. " I don't want to go out," he protested.

A mischievous smile played on Jungkook's lips as he replied, " Forget about the takeaway. How about you spend the night with me instead?"

Jimin felt a lump forming in his throat as he heard Jungkook's words.

Spending the night together? That sounded kinda intimate, and it caught Jimin off guard. He couldn't find the right words to respond, and silence enveloped the conversation.

Jungkook, sensing Jimin's silence, spoke slowly, his words hanging in the air. "Aren't you going to treat me? You want to go break your promise?"

Jimin's heart skipped a beat, and he almost choked on his potato chips. So that's what Jungkook meant. He felt a wave of embarrassment washing over him as he quickly replied, "How could I go break my promise? You never mentioned it to me."

Jungkook's voice came through the phone, firm and determined. "Now come out, I'm waiting outside your university."

Jimin couldn't help but interject, his voice filled with confusion and frustration. "But in the past, didn't you say that I don't need to treat you?"

Jungkook's response was puzzling, as if he couldn't recall his own words. "Ahh, did I say that kind of stuff?"

Jimin was left speechless, unsure of how to proceed.

Jimin quickly changes his clothes, making sure he looks presentable. He wraps a scarf around his neck and takes a moment to admire himself in the mirror. Satisfied with his appearance, he heads out of the dorms, ready to meet Jungkook.

As he steps outside, Jimin notices Jungkook's car parked nearby. Jungkook is already sitting in the driver's seat, waiting for him. Jimin walks over and gets into the front passenger seat, obediently calling out, "Hyung," before buckling up.

Jungkook looks at him curiously and asks, "Why aren't you going out with your friends?"

Jimin answers honestly, "It's cold. I don't want to go out."

Jungkook smirks and leans towards Jimin, staring at him intently. "Then why did you agree to come out with me?" he asks, catching Jimin off guard.

Jimin stumbles over his words, his cheeks turning a shade of pink as he tries to gather his thoughts. Jungkook's gaze lingers to jimin's face for a moment before he changes the subject, letting out a playful laugh.

"So, what do you want to eat?"

Jimin looks away, his heart still racing from the unexpected closeness. He realizes he doesn't have a specific craving in mind. "You can decide," he says, hoping to shift the attention away from his flustered state.

Jungkook grins mischievously and suggests, "How about a hotpot?"

Jimin nods, agreeing, "Okay."

Jungkook's smile widens as he adds, "I'll choose the restaurant."

~

Jimin and Jungkook arrive at the famous Korean BBQ restaurant, which happens to be closer. As they pull up, they notice a few people waiting in line, a testament to the restaurant's popularity.

Jimin is intrigued by the mouthwatering aroma that fills the air as they approach. He quickly grabs a number and joins the queue, eager to try out this new dining experience.

After a short wait, they are finally seated at a table. Jungkook hands Jimin the menu, giving him the responsibility of placing their orders.

Jimin takes a moment to think, considering Jungkook's recent surgery. He decides to order a comforting soup and selects a variety of meats and veggies that he knows are popular choices among diners. When he sees the tempting beef slices, he hesitates for a moment before deciding to include a portion of it as well.

Passing the menu back to Jungkook, After placing their orders, Jungkook pours himself a glass of water and casually asks, "Hey, when are you planning to head back home?"

Jimin takes a moment to think and replies, "Hmm, maybe around the 20th."

Jungkook nods and offers some advice, "Yeah, make sure to buy your ticket early. It can be tough to find one before the New Year."

Jimin agrees, saying, "Yeah, I know. I'll make sure to get it sorted."

As they continue chatting, the table next to them quickly finishes their meal. The waiter swiftly tidies up the table and two young women enter the restaurant. While Another waiter brings a base soup for Jungkook and jimin's hotpot table.

Jimin puts down his phone and looks over, noticing that one of the young women looks familiar, but he can't remember where he met her. Intrigued, just as he observes the woman's smile disappears as she looks over at their table. Her eyes glaring daggers at jungkook specially.

Then she arrogantly walks towards their table, "Jungkook."

Jungkook, still engaged in conversation with Jimin, pauses and looks over when he hears the woman's voice. Jimin follows suit, also looked over.

Jimin catches a whiff of her strong perfume, adding to the air of mystery surrounding her. Suddenly, it clicks in Jimin's mind that he had indeed encountered this young woman before in the elevator of Jungkook's apartment building. The memory floods back, and he glances over at Jungkook, wondering what their connection could be.

Refusing to acknowledge the woman's presence, Jungkook focuses on pouring himself a bowl of soup, pretending not to listen to her words. Meanwhile, Jimin, feeling a wave of awkwardness, tries to make himself small and inconspicuous.

"You didn't see my calls?" the woman questions, her voice filled with frustration.

Jimin purses his lips, feeling the tension rise in the room.

"You called?" Jungkook holds up his phone. with a stern smile he continue, "Ah, I forgot. I added you to my blacklist."

The woman explodes with anger, her voice growing louder and more provocative. "You blocked me? How dare you. Have you forgotten that you are my debtor? You are my slave for the rest of all your life!"

Jimin looks at her, surprise evident in his eyes.

the woman's friend, tries to intervene. confusion written on her face. "Lisa, what happened? Who is he?"

But before anyone can fully comprehend the situation, Jimin watches in shock as the woman breaks free from Lisa's grasp. In a sudden burst of anger, she snatches Jungkook's bowl of soup from the table and forcefully hurls it towards his face.

Caught off guard, Jungkook barely has time to react. He instinctively shuts his eyes, bracing himself for the impact. The scalding hot soup splashes against his body, drenching him from head to toe. The liquid cascades down his hair, trickling onto his forehead, the bridge of his nose, his lips, and his chin.

Each drop falls with a heavy weight, the room filled with a stunned Silence.

Jimin, startled by Jungkook's drenched appearance, feels an overwhelming surge of anger coursing through his veins. His rationality slips away as his fist clenches tightly. In a sudden outburst, he rises from his seat, grabbing a glass of water in the process.

With a determined look on his face, he holds the glass above the woman's head and poured the water onto her.

Caught off guard and still focused on Jungkook, the woman is unable to react immediately. She screams and howls, her voice filled with confusion and frustration. "Who the Fuck are you?" she exclaims, her words echoing through the room.
