The atmosphere in the infirmary had been tense as Marcus's booming voice reverberated off the walls, echoing his frustration and anger. Draco, his arm wrapped in bandages, sat on the infirmary bed, his expression tight with discomfort and annoyance. Despite his injury, he had been the target of Marcus's tirade for the past half-hour.

Theo and Blaise, fellow Slytherins and teammates, exchanged concerned glances as they flanked Marcus, guiding him out of the infirmary at Madam Pomfrey's insistence. The healer had intervened, recognizing that the escalating argument wasn't conducive to Draco's recovery or the upcoming Quidditch practice.

"Marcus, mate, calm down," Theo urged, his voice low but firm as they made their way out of the infirmary doors.
"Marcus is such a git, and you, my dear Draco, are an idiot," I said, playfully smacking the magazine onto Draco's head.

"Ow," he winced, but then his hand clasped mine, pulling me onto his lap.

"But you weren't saying that when I got hurt. What was it that you said?" Draco teased, pretending to ponder my previous words to Hagrid.

"Oh, right," I chuckled, recalling our earlier conversation.

"You oaf! I'll make sure Lucius knows about this. I'll see to it that your pet chicken pays for this mess." I smirked as Draco pulled me closer. I couldn't help but smile, my heart overflowing with joy as I basked in the warmth of Draco's embrace. At that moment, everything felt right, and I knew that as long as we had each other, we could conquer any challenge that came our way.

"Would anyone like to venture a guess as to what is inside? "

"That's a boggart, that is."

"Very good, Mr. Thomas."

"Now, can anybody tell me what a boggart looks like?"

"no one knows, Boggarts are shape-shifters. They take the shape of whatever a person fears the most"

"That's what makes them So terrifying, yes, yes, yes.  that's tight ms. Salvatore. Luckily, a very simple charm exists to repel a boggart. Let's practice it now. Without wands, please. After me. Riddikulus!"

"So much for the easy part. You see, the incantation alone is not enough. What finishes a boggart is laughter. You need to force it to assume a shape you find truly amusing. Let me explain. Neville, would you join me, please? Come on, don't be shy. Come on. Come on. Hello. Neville, what frightens you most of all?"

"Professor Snape" what a pathetic fool.

"Professor Snape. Yes, frightens all. You live with your grandmother"

"I don't want it to turn into her, either." what is he not scared of?

"No, it won't. I want you to picture her clothes. Only her clothes, very clearly, in your mind." As Professor Lupin opened the wardrobe, Severus emerged, Neville, seizing the opportunity, pointed his wand at Severus and cast the spell with a determined flick, causing Severus's attire to transform into the outlandish garments.

A burst of laughter bubbled up within me at the sight of Severus in his grandmother's clothes, the absurdity of the situation was impossible to ignore. Despite the seriousness of the moment, I couldn't suppress the amusement that washed over me.

Severus, with his usual scowl deepening, looked positively livid as he surveyed his transformed appearance. The mixture of indignation and embarrassment on his face only served to heighten the hilarity of the situation.

I exchanged a knowing glance with Draco, both of us struggling to contain our laughter at the unexpected turn of events. Even Professor Lupin couldn't help but crack a smile at the sight before him, the tension of the moment dissipating in the wake of Severus's unintentionally comical predicament.

At that moment, laughter became our shared language, bridging the gap between us and turning what could have been a tense encounter into a moment of camaraderie and shared amusement. As the echoes of our laughter filled the room, I couldn't help but feel grateful for the unexpected joy that had emerged from the chaos.

Now everyone was in line, the boggart that had taken various shapes from spiders to giant snakes, I was excited to see what it would do for me.

As I faced the Boggart, its transformation seemed to linger longer than usual. Before me appeared Draco, confusing me as to why he would evoke fear within me.

"You were supposed to protect me," the illusion of Draco cried, revealing a mark on his sleeve that caught both my and Professor Lupin's attention. In a swift change, Draco transformed into Severus.

"I expected better from you," Severus expressed disappointment, shaking his head. Swiftly, before another transformation could occur, I silently cast the spell with my wand.

As I turned around, relief flooded over me as I was enveloped in a familiar embrace. Those arms belonged to Draco, offering comfort and reassurance.

"I may not know what the Boggart showed you, but I have faith in you. I know you'll do everything you can," Draco whispered, dispelling any lingering doubts.

-------

As the Boggart began its transformation, I gripped my wand tightly, anticipating what fear it would reveal. To my surprise, it took the form of Draco, leaving me bewildered. Why would I fear him?

"You were meant to protect me," the illusion of Draco cried, revealing a mark on his sleeve that both I and Professor Lupin noticed. In an instant, Draco shifted into Severus, disappointment etched on his features.

"I expected more from you," Severus chastised before I swiftly cast the spell, interrupting his transformation.

"I may not know what the Boggart showed you, but I have faith in you. I know you'll do everything you can," Draco whispered, dispelling any lingering doubts.

Today was Hogsmeade Day, and we were dressed to impress. I wore a sleek black dress with a grey coat and black ankle boots, while Daphne opted for a pink dress paired with a white fur coat. The boys, Draco, Blaise and Theo, looked sharp in shirts, dress pants, and coats, completing the picture of heirs from respectable families.

As Daphne and I descended from our dorms, Draco and Theo gallantly offered their hands, and we linked arms as we made our way out. Observing the attire of students from other houses, Daphne couldn't help but remark, "Are we overdressed or are they underdressed?"

Blaise chimed in with assurance, "There's no such thing as being overdressed, my dear."

we walked where everyone was waiting, and as we walked into that area all eyes were on us.

"blime! Are seeing what they are wearing Mioni?!" it was Weasla,  he was wearing a hideous shirt that even hurt to look at.

"Good gracious, Weasel," I said with a raised eyebrow, feigning concern. "I do hope you're not aiming to blind anyone with that... interesting choice of attire. Though, I must say, it does make for quite the spectacle."

Daphne stifled a giggle, and even Draco couldn't help but smirk at the sight before us. As Weasley's face flushed with embarrassment, I couldn't help but revel in the satisfaction of delivering a cutting remark to the boy who always seemed to invite trouble with his questionable fashion sense.

"Come on, Mara, let's not be too harsh," Theo interjected, a mischievous glint in his eye. "We wouldn't want to bruise his ego, would we? After all, that shirt probably came from his first paycheck as the new Hogwarts groundskeeper. And we all know what happens when he gets angry – he tends to forget any semblance of dignity and lashes out at anyone in sight."

Theo's mischievous glint matched his words, and I couldn't help but chuckle at his sly remark. "You do have a point," I conceded, a smirk playing on my lips. "We wouldn't want to shatter his fragile ego, especially if that shirt is a symbol of his hard-earned paycheck as the new Hogwarts groundskeeper."

Daphne shot Theo and me a playful glance, faking concern. "Let's not forget the potential consequences of provoking him," she warned, her voice laced with a teasing tone. "Weasley's temper is legendary, and the last thing we need is to be caught in the crossfire of his rage. we wouldn't want to cause him any more house points, not that he can afford any"

Draco leaned in, his voice dripping with sarcasm. "Yes, heaven forbid we disrupt the delicate balance of house points. Gryffindor might be in danger of slipping further down the ranks," he remarked, a smirk playing on his lips.

Blaise nodded in agreement, his tone laced with amusement. "Indeed, it would be a tragedy if Gryffindor's already precarious standing were to worsen. We wouldn't want to add insult to injury," he added, a mischievous glint in his eye.

Theo couldn't resist adding his own jab. "And let's not forget the toll it would take on poor Weasley's fragile ego," he chimed in, a smirk tugging at the corners of his mouth. "Losing house points might be the final blow."

We shared a collective chuckle at the thought, the camaraderie of our banter adding to the enjoyment of our day out. As we continued our stroll through Hogsmeade, the playful ribbing at Weasley's expense lightened the mood, reinforcing the bond between us as friends and fellow Slytherins.

Today just might be a good day.
