Haseena was at the laal chowk for her duty all day and thus was tired till night. She huffed and parked her jeep at her home and opened the door with keys since Ammi might have slept. Her tired face developed a big smile as she saw her mother and her boyfriend chit-chatting sitting on the sofa.
Ammi- Arre Haseena aa gayi tu?
Haseena smiled and sat beside Ammi..
AS- bhojan kiya aapne?
HM- ji ji..Pushpaji ne khilakar hi bheja humein..(smilingly)..par Ammi..aap ab tak soyi nahi?
Ammi- arre woh Anubhav aa gaya tha aur baaton baaton mein neend bhi nahi aayi mujhe..(smiled)
HM- accha..aur davayi?
AS- kha li hai inhone..aap chunta chhodiye aur change karke aaiye..
Haseena went in her room and changed into comfy clothes. Soon she heard a knock on her room's door. It was Anubhav.
HM- Waise aap itni der raat yahan?
AS- nahi aa sakte?🤨
HM- aa toh sakte hain, par generally aate nahi haina..
AS- hm..aate toh nahi hain..par aana pada humein..kuch mehetvapoorn baat karni hai aapse..(seriously)
HM- kya hua Anu?(worriedly)
AS- agle ek mahine ke liye humein ek mission par jaana hai.
Haseena grew sad. She is SHO, a responsible officer but she was a human too. Moreover, a girlfriend who had finally got her love after so many hurdles. Staying away from him for even a week made her heart pain..and this was a whole month. But regardless of her sadness, she smiled forcefully.

AS- aap chinta mat kariye, hum jald se jald yeh mission complete karne ka prayaas karenge..(assuringly, making her smile)
HM- hmm..(hugging him)
He smiled and caressed her back..kissing her hair softly. They broke the hug after a good 5 minutes.
AS- aap apna khyal rakhiyega hmm?
She nodded..still in his embrace. He slowly separated himself from her..
HM- waise Karishma ab theek hain?
AS- ji..Jijashree se baat hui hamari..
HM- Unke husband yahi hain?
AS- haan..kuch mahine chhutti hai..(Haseena hummed)

"Ek last sip", Vyom said forwarding a spoonful of tomato soup. Karishma drank it.
KS- Bas kijiye patidev..kitna khilayenge..
V- chup ekdum..aapko zara sa akela chhid dete hain toh yeh haal bana leti hain aap apna..(frowning)..kisne kaha tha lunch chhodkar duty karne ke liye? Aur toh aur, paani tak nahi piya aapne..kitni garmi hai bahar..sochiye agar aap duty ke samay wahan laal chowk par behosh ho jaati toh?
Karishma was silently listening to the scoldings. Yes, the fierce lioness of Lucknow was a helpless cat in front of her husband.
KS- accha sorry..hum dhyan rakhenge ab..
V- hm..aur Amma bata rahi thi gharpar aa kar bhi aapko ultiyan hui? Kuch ulta seedha toh nahi khaya na bahar?
KS- nahi, aakhri baar bahar aapke sath hi gaye the dinner par..uske baad toh nahi..
V- theek hai, kal chalte hain doctor ke paas..
KS- par hamari duty-(Vyom glared at her)..parso..parso se jayenge..(nervously)
V- apki duty parso se hogi ya agle hafte yeh doctor hi batayenge..(sternly)
Karishma nodded sadly..the doorbell rang till then. Pushpaji opened it to find AnuSeena standing there. She smiled confusingly and welcomed them.
KS- aree aap dono? Ek sath?
Anubhav and Haseena looked at each other and nodded.
HM- hum dono ab sath hain, Karishma Singh..(smilingly)
Karishma looked at Anubhav who was smiling already.
KS- hum bahut khush hain aap dono ke liye...
PS- bilkul, aakhir Maddam Sir ko apne sapno ka rajkumar mil hi gaya...
Haseena looked at Anubhav smilingly..
PS- accha, tabhi aaj subah se muskura rahi thi aap MS, haina?(Haseena blushed)..ishhh..(dharti hilate huye)
AS- aaram se Amma..(balancing himself)
V- toh aap hain SHO Haseena Malik..
HM- ji..(smiled cordially)..aap, Vyom ji haina?
V- ji..Karishma ke husband..(HM nodded)
AS- tabiyat kaisi hai aapki behna?(sitting beside her)
KS- theek hai bhaiya..Amma aur Patidev ne bahut accha khayal rakha hamara..(smiled)
PS- arre wah, aaj aag nahi ugal rahin aap..(smiled)
KS- aaj mood nahi hai Amma..(smiled back)
HM- kash apka roz aisa hi mood hota..
Everyone laughed..
AS- behna, aap khayal rakhiye apna, hum yahi batane aaye the ki agle maah hum ek mission hetu ja rahe hain..
KS- Mission achanak?
AS- missions achanak hi aate hain behna..aap dhyan rakhiyega apna..aur orders maniyega Haseenaji ke..
KS- hmm..pehle patidev duty par toh jaane dein humko..(sadly)
V- bina doctor se puche kahi nahi jayengi aap..
HM- doctor?
Vyom told about Karishma's vomitings and Haseena instantly agreed with Vyom's condition.

Anubhav and Haseena talked for some time and went to their homes. The Next day, Vyom took Karishma for checkup.

V- matlab? Is she overworking? Humein laga hi tha..hum dekh lenge Doctor..unhe zyada kaam nahi karne denge..ghar par hi rakhenge atleast agle pure week..
Karishma grew terrified..she was a workaholic..and no work for a week was a punishment for her.
Dr- shaant ho jaiye..she is not overworked...bas apki zimmedariyan badhne wali hain ab..
KS- matlab?
Dr- Matlab, Congratulations, Mrs.Singh! You're pregnant..(smilingly)
Vyoshma looked at each other..tears developed in their eyes...they hugged each other.
Dr- araam se, aap dono ko khaas khayal rakhna hoga..I am not sure, but shayad Mrs. Singh is carrying twins..
The happines doubled and the tears intensified..
