Chris pov
The bell rang
"Thank fuck" y/n said jumping up "bye Nate, bye Chris" she smiled at me
She smiled at me!
"Bye y/n" Nate said "oh!" He said as she was almost at the door
She turned to look at him
"Finish the project tonight!" He shouted
She nodded her head putting her headphones on and leaving
Nate looked at me as I watched the door close behind her
"You like her" he said as he flung his bag over his shoulder
"What" I said defensively "no"
"Chris she's like my sister" he said "I don't care if you like her, I care if you hurt her!"
"I don't like her" I said as we left the classroom
"Ok...." He trailed off "i gotta go to gym"
"K" I said as we walked in opposite directions, I was on my way to art, I forgot to take it in freshman year, so I have to take it now
I walked into the classroom and y/n was in it
I looked at my usual spot next to people I don't know, and then the empty spot next to y/n
I decided

"Hey" I said sitting next to y/n
She looked confused for a second, then she took her headphones off "oh" she said "hey"
" I didn't know you were in this class"I said
"You didn't know me" she smiled
"Well now I do" I said nodding my head "what are you drawing" I asked looking at her paper
"Nothing good" she joked closing her book
"I'm sure they're great" I said pulling my own book out of my bag "I mean look at mine" I joked "they look like a five year old drew them"
She laughed at my comment
I opened the book and showed her a page
"It's abstract" she smiled "I like it"
"Well I'm glad someone does" i smiled
"Don't be so hard on yourself" she said "all art is great to different people"
"That's a good one" I laughed
"Why thank you" she joked
Time skip bell rang end of class
"Hey" I said as she was walking down the hall
She looked at me "hey" she said suspiciously "can't talk long I gotta go" she said as we walked down the stairs
"You wanna maybe hangout sometime?" I asked
She was walking to the door to outside "sure" she smiled "just ask Nate for my number"
"K" I said smiling
"Bye Chris" she smiled leaving the school
"Bye y/n" I smiled
I turned around and started walking back upstairs "fuck yeah!" I said under my breath
