Isaac's POV
Three months had passed since I started living with the Muslims beside the central mosque.
I grew up in luxury,so moving into a more simpler community was hard at first,but I didn't mind,I was determined to find Allah.
And I did, inshallah.Inshallah is literally the only word I can pronounce properly.I was taught alot about Islam and I found it fascinating.
Islam wasn't as they pictured in the news and tv, Islam was simply peaceful and peace is something I have always yearned for since my parents death.
I never found it,but luckily a special woman in my life lead me to it and I finally found peace in Islam.
Today was Friday, which was juma Mubarak.To Muslims, Friday was considered the day of judgement,it was a special day.
The mosque filled up with alot of people.It was very beautiful,after prayers I came out .I froze when my eyes found Fatima in the crowd of women
She returned my gaze,I came to her.
Isaac:salamu Alaikum (peace be onto you)(she was quiet for Abit)
Fatima:wa alaikum Salam(she gave me a warm smile) so why didn't you come find me when you converted.
Isaac:that would have meant that I converted to marry you,I didn't come find you dinner because I found Allah, and I wanted to continue learning for myself.
Fatima: Masha Allah, brother
Isaac: Brother?
Fatima: Muslims refer to each other as brothers and sisters
Isaac: how about when they are married?
Fatima:then I can't call you brother.
Isaac:then after I learn more about Islam,I will marry you(the man I lived with came in)
Man:or you can marry her, and still learn more about Islam, because you aren't supposed to be standing here for long with a woman you aren't married to.
Fatima:there is no rush.
Isaac :no,I would marry you right now,if I had the chance but I was practicing patience.
Fatima:and am so proud of you for that.
(We stood smiling at each other.Two weeks later,a small celebration was held as Fatima and I got married. Fatima's parents didn't show up to Fatima's dissapointment)
But to our surprise,her ex husband jalil,showed up.Fatima had learnt to forgive him but I could never forget how he raped her, and how badly he treated her.
But it takes alot, to come to an ex that you are still inlove with's marraige,I will give him that.
After our celebration at the central mosque,my Islamic teacher didn't want me to live apart from Fatima,so he told me to go back to my house,but still come over for studies.
I bought a new house, and moved my parents garden to that house.The old mansion was tainted and I can't believe I let people sleep around in there.
It was one of my parents vacation houses and I disrespected them,but not anymore.
Fatima:we just got married today,how did you get the house ready?
Isaac: I have my ways
