The chameleon awoke to a horrible crushing sound
darting his eyes open to what on Mobius was going on
the walls and ceiling shaking as they began closing in itself
fist clenched the mattress as the chameleon tried to calm himself as it happened
reminding himself there was space over and over
he wouldn't give into Eggman's desire to watch prey squirm
(in...out...in...out) the chameleon instructed as he controlled his breathing, hoping this would end soon
only for the situation to worsen with a much too familiar scream ringing through the room
"espio!"
"Charmy?" Espio gasped as he looked around in pure confusion
but with the lights dimmed the hole in the wall above was the only area it could come from
"Espio! Help!" a new voice pleaded
Vector...
"Vector?! Charmy?!" Espio yelled back as he rushed to the wall, his hands sliding down the walls
"Espio!" they called as the screams continued
"I'm here! what's happening?!" Espio asked in desperation
and yet the explanation was never given
the screams, the senseless pleading
and suddenly
it stopped
"huh...charmy?....vector...?" Espio asked with a shakey voice looking up at the hole in disarray
yet all he was met was silence
what happened outside of this wall?
putting a kick in the hopes of an answer he was shocked
literally
electric sparks engulfing his body from his new accessories
"gah!" Espio cried as he dropped to the floor from the sudden pain
grabbing his neck with a grunt before standing back up
giving a quick look to the camera
the red light blinking showing that someone was getting very entertained by this wicked show
it had to be a trick
the room's movement, the sudden screams of his friends, and the sudden silence
it had to be Eggman playing with him
so with a growl, he marched himself back to the bed
doing his best to ignore the ever more growing questions in his mind and not give Eggman any reactions
it was too dark to do more investigating anyways
so while he could, he'd try to sleep
try to block out the haunting voices of his supposed friends' screams
he just prayed that the theory of a trick proved true
