A: Jasmin kisi shelf mein hoga papers.. tu woh leke office aaja..
J: Accha
Jasmin was on her way to Aly's house, today he was in Drip Dome's office for wrapping up some work but he forgot some papers, the papers were confidential so he asked Jasmin to bring them into the office.
While in the car, she browsed through her phones opening messages from fans and relatives, when she found her cousin Veer's old text where he'd sent a picture of a register where a room was registered under Aly Goni, before she could read the rest she arrived at Aly's house.
Noone was home, she used her spare key to get into his apartment. It was messy from all the packing and suitcase, which she thought was from their trip to Turkey and some for his shoot he was leaving for tomorrow. (as she knew hotstar series shooting started from tomorrow)
She went to use the restroom first, she was surprised to see he was packing a lot of his sneakers. She came out and searched the shelves for the papers, while browsing through one of the shelves, she found some medical reports, that too from a gynac. Out of curiosity, she opened them up to discover ultrasound of a baby registered under Anusha Arya.
J: What the fuck?? Yeh Anusha.. is pregnant?? Haww.. My God.. yeh toh recent date ki hain..
Then she found an envelope that said, it's a girl. She was confused as fuck. She looked at the first ultrasound, it dated November 20th- 3 months pregnant.
J: Maybe kisi ko pata nahi.. Shayad sirf Aly janta hain... they are quite close friends after all. Yess, I knew she had became fatter. Aur usdin party mein bhi nahi ai.. of course she didn't tell anybody yet.. Uska boyfriend hain mujhe pata nahi thha arreh.. Aly ne bhi mujhe kuch nahi bataya.. Chodo usne Aly se ko kisi ko batane se mana kiya hoga.. lekin mujhe nahi bataya usne,... Its fine, she must have trusted him with this.
She turned over pages trying to look at the father's name but someone has really scratched it off.
It was Aly who did it out of anger, he scratched his names off because everytime it reminded him of his betrayal to Jasmin.
Jasmin quickly took the DD's papers and headed to his office. She continued to look at the screenshot Veer sent her few months ago. Aly registered a room on August 16th. It was quite weird why he did it, but since they had a really non toxic and understanding relationship, Jasmin didn't overthink it. She thought maybe he was too drunk to drive so he slept in before he was sober. However, she found the thing, Veer telling her about Aly going into the room with a girl hilarious.
J: Pata nahi kisko Aly samjh ke betha hoga..
Jasmin's POV
Yaar mujhe toh vishwas hi nahi horaha ki Anusha's pregnant. Isliye woh Aly ke saath saath rehti thhi itna, kyuki usse pata thha.. Main bhi kya kya soch rahi thhi ki usse mujhe bad energy milti hain and all. I feel so dumb. Should I confront him about it?? Ya phir khud hi batayega mujhe
This was when Aly calls,
A: Jasmin ek emergency hogai hain, main Anusha ke ghar aaya hoon.. tu papers office mein Zain ko de dena
J: Kya huya?
A: Jasmin I need to go
Hangs up.
Jasmin was worried, she dropped the files at the office and headed to Anusha's apartment.
When Aly was at the office, Samiksha (a common friend of Aly an Anusha) called-
A: Haan bol.. kya haal chal??
S: Alyy??? Anusha's pregnant????
Aly was terrified to hear that.
A: Kya??? Kisne bataya tujhe??
S: Anusha ne sabko call karke ghar bulaya hain, main jaa rahi hoon, tujhe nahi bola??
A: Kya baat kar rahi hain?? Sab ko matlab??
S: Sab dosto ko bol rahi.. matlab uske dosto ko.. kuch party boli jiske invites bheje hain hum sabki
Aly hangs up
A: Damn it Anusha!
He left in hurry. He rang the bell thrice, Anusha answered the door, there was music and people inside.
An: Alyyy meri jaan guess what????! I am pregnant!!
A: Anusha???? Sir pe laagi hain kya?
An: What, is mein sharmana kya?? You have left me with no other option..
Aly held her arm and dragged her into the room.
A: Kya kar rahi hain tu?????
An: Alyy you can live your life how ever you want but I cant??? This is unfair you know!
A: Anusha hum kal waise bhi nikal ne wale hain kyun aise tamasha kar rahi hain??
An: Sab tere plan ke hisaab se hi kyun hoga baby.. I am the wife, I should have the rights to make some decisions too right?
She jerked off his hand and dissolved into the crowd. Aly was way too frustrated and scared for what she's gonna do.
A: Meri hi galti hain.. kyun kiya tha maine aisa!
Thats when Jasmin entered the apartment, she looked for Aly when she found Anusha standing on her table, flaunting her baby bump.
An: SO GUYS, SHUT UP, I HAVE AN ANNOUNCEMENT, YOU ALL ARE GONNA BE BLOODY UNCLE AND AUNTS, CUZ I AM PREGNANT, WOOHOOO
Jasmin was startled seeing that, she saw a glimpse of Aly through the crowd but again lost it.
J: Oh toh isliye Aly aise bhaga aya..
K: Jasmin hi
Jasmin looked beside her from where the voice was coming,
J: Heyy
K: What a thing, we know each other from TV but never met, I am Karthik
J: Yess I know..
K: This is weird what Anusha is doing
J: Are you a friend of hers?
K: Yess, more like her childhood friend
J: Ohh, you are that Karthik?? I knew a karthik who was Anusha's childhood bestfriend
K: I am him yes (smiles)
J: So you must have known about the pregnancy right?
K: Anusha? NO. Not at all.
Jasmin was taken aback by that, cuz he was a better friend of Anusha's than Aly but he didn't know.
J: Who's her boyfriend? Kiska baccha hain
K: Jasmin you have to trust me on this, I am not trying to hide it, she doesnt really have one.
J: What? phir yeh?
K: As far as I know, this is from a one night stand
J: Oh no... Woww, she doesn't look the kinda girl jo one night stand mein interested hogi
K: Trust me she's not, she had one in a decade that too around her birthday i guess, with someone she didn't even tell me about. That too at some club, she went carzyy
J: Wow, she's amazing ya, when was her birthday?
K: Abhi kuch mahine pehle hi thha, August 16th ko
J: Oh right. Aly gaya thha.. Main tabhi London mein thhi shoot ki waja se
She looks at Anusha dancing at the top of the table, she felt it, her mind connected the dots, and.......... there it was.
her eyes widened in an alarm as she shifted her gaze straight at Aly when she realised what has been going on.
(just imagine this scene)
And thats when Aly saw her red eyes, he realised immediately that she knew
An: GUYS I THOUGHT WHY SHOULD I HIDE MY PREGNANCY AND LIVE IN A BOX JAB IS BACCHE KA BAAP IS HAVING THE GREATEST TIME OF HIS LIFE, WOH APNE GIRLFRIEND KE SAATH GHUM RAHA HAIN, JAB MAIN YAHA TADAP RAHI HOON. YEH KAISA DICRIMINATION HAIN TUM HI BATAO?
None of them moved their eyes, they looked straight into each other, Jasmin had an epiphany. What assured her of this thing was Aly's expression, it was confirmed that he had done the grave mistake.
She rushed out of the apartment trying to control herself from breaking down.
Aly ran behind her.
She called her driver, her car was there when she got out of the lift. Aly grabbed her
A: Jasmin Jasmin sunn..
She tries to jerk his hand off everytime but he doesn't let go,
A: Jasmin baat sunn tohh
Aly could feel Jasmin shivering and trembling,
J: Bol main galat hoon Aly? (voice shivers)
She somehow said those words when nothing was coming out of her.
Aly felt silent, it broke her further when he didn't deny it, she rushed into her car, Aly stood there as she left. Tears trickled down his eyes, he felt helpless, he couldn't stand still. He wanted to scream, and cry. This is when it hit him what he has done. He called his car and headed to Jasmin's house.
