On a fine day, Both Siddhik and Athulya are preparing everything for Pragyan and Sujan.
Athulya -" enanga ellam eduthu vachuten"
Siddhik- "hmm".
Athulya slowly moved towards him and stood before him. Siddhik looked at her. She still maintained the same posture without telling anything.
Siddhik- "enna solanum?"
Athulya -"athu vanthu..". She stared at her fingers, thought but unable to tell him what she exactly want.
Siddhik- " nee than samachanu solliko "
Athulya looked at him with wide shining eyes for a second and then asked, "epadi therium?"
Siddhik- "naan samaikum pothu full ah notes eduthu vachukitu ipo varaikum memorize panratha paathale theriuthu."
Athulya -"athu vanthu, chumma.. ". Siddhik chuckled at her. The same time they heard the calling bell sound.
Athulya's face, within a second, beam with happiness. She rushed to the door and opened.
Athulya -" hey prajju, sujju..", they hugged each other.
Pragyan- "epadi di iruka?"
Athulya - " naan nalla iruken. nee epadi iruka? "
Pragyan- "hmm, Hello anna"
Siddhik- "hello. vanga.. "
Athulya- "sujju, unaku velai ellam set agiducha?"
Sujan- "hmm, onum problem illa. etho poguthu..". Siddhik and Sujan looked at each other once. Siddhik smiled at him which is reciprocated by Sujan.
Athulya- "ungaluku kudika ethavathu kondu varen.. ". Both the boys went behind her. Siddhik sat in the hall.
Athulya -"inga varaikume vanthiteengala?"
Pragyan- "enna pana pora?"
Athulya -"just juice thaan kuduka poren. unga favorite.. Enanga ungalukum juice tharava?"
Siddhik- "okay Athulya"
Sujan- "nee enanga nu thaan un aala koopduviah? yaraio koopdura mathiri". Her hand stopped its work for a second and then continued.
Athulya- "apadiye kooptu palagiduchu.. vaanga polam..", They all went to the dinning table.
Athulya gave the juice to Siddhik. They shared a glance. Siddhik raised his eyebrow at her. She blinked with a slight smile and left. Siddhik understood that her cousins started their play. He mentally prepared himself for the consequences.
Athulya -"unoda work ellam epadi poitu iruku?"
Sujan- "haan, ellam okay thaan.. inga new ideas ku hope irukura mathiri thaan iruku but approve panrathuku thaan romba question kekuranga. sometimes, romba kaduppa iruku"
Athulya -"romba strict oh?"
Sujan- "light ah."
Pragyan- "antha kadupa full ah ivan room ku vanthu enkita kaaturaan"
Athulya -" appo unaku?"
Pragyan- "new show onnu start panalam nu irukom.. just a try.. pick up aachuna nalla irukum"
Athulya -"all the best da"
Sujan- "nee enna paka house wife agitiah?"
Athulya -"illa MS join paniten.."
Pragyan- "honestly? epadi othuka vacha?"
Sujan- "athuku ethuku avan othukanum?"
Athulya -"Sujju, " she said sternly and then said, "sethu vitathe avar thaan. avaroda college laye.. sari sari, vaanga sapdalam.."
Boys nodded. Athulya- "enanga vaanga sapdalam..". Everyone seated to have food.
Athulya - "ungaluku pudicha ellame iruku, nalla sapdunga"
Pragyan- "nee samachiah aththu?"
Athulya -"aama.. "she looked at Siddhik via corner of her eyes.
Sujan- "nee inum olunga poi solla kathukalaya? entha hotel la vangina?"
Athulya -"illa, naan than samachen", she looked at Siddhik via corner of her eyes.
Pragyan- "anna, ungaluku samaika ellam theiruma?". Siddhik looked at Athulya and hesitated to answer.
Sujan- "summa sollunga, ivlo taste ah ellam aththu ku samaika theriathu.. naanga yerkanave ava samaika kathukuren nu senja kootha ellam pathirukurom"
Athulya -"sujju.."
Siddhik- " but Athulya thaan neraiah help panna. Neenga Rj thane?", he wisely skipped the topic.
Pragyan- "amam anna"
Siddhik- "unga shows ellam epadi poguthu?"
Pragyan- "nalla poguthu anna, new show start panalam nu irukom"
Siddhik- " Athulya ku try pana mudiuma?". Sujan, Athulya and Pragyan everybody looked at him with a shock.
Siddhik- "what happened?"
Athulya -"ippo ethuku enaku job?", she asked him with a shock. But there is no angriness.
Siddhik- "Just for experience. Veetlayae adanchu kidantha oru mathiri irukum.. Go and explore yourself"
Athulya -" aana enaku avlo ellam pesa varathu.."
Siddhik- "Already nee nalla than pesura, just need mould yousrself a little.". Pragyan and Athulya looked at each other.
Pragyan- "nalla idea thaan Aththu, nee vaa naan pathukaren". Athulya looked at Siddhik.
Siddhik- " Give a try. Naan unna compel panala, unaku vendam na vendam.. Idle ah irukuratha vida new things chumma try pani pakalamae. Padichutu job pogum pothu intha experience kandipa useful ah irukum.."
Athulya - "aana, enaku college start agidum inum one month.."
Siddhik- "Timing paathukalam Athulya. I am there if you need."
Athulya nodded. Pragyan and Sujan looked at each other. They ate in silence for a while.
Siddhik- "enga thangirukeenga?"
Pragyan- "****"
Siddhik- "enga rent adhigama irukumae? ungaluku okay va?"
Pragyan- "konjam adhigama thaan anna iruku. vera idam theditu irukom.."
Siddhik- "inga oru portion vacant ah iruku. if you are okay, then move here".
Sujan and Pragyan looked at each other and nodded.
Siddhik- "unglaluku ponnu paakurangala? veetla pesitu irunthanga"
Pragyan- "amam anna.. amma paathutu irukanga.."
Siddhik- "ungalukum paakurangala? unga appa amma enga irukanga?".
There is a complete silence. Pragyan and Athulya looked between Siddhik and Sujan.
Sujan- "nee ethuvum solalaya aththu?", He looked at Athulya while asking.
Siddhik- "naan ethavathu thappa ketutena?", He looked at Athulya and then Pragyan.
Sujan- "thappa ellam onum illa. They are divorced. Appa avar kudumbathoda happy ah irukanga. amma avanga kudumbathoda happy ah irukanga"
Siddhik- "I am sorry", he genuinely asked.
Sujan- "ithula sorry solla onum illa.. ithu mathiri naan neraiah kelviah paathuten pathil-um soliten.. enaku paliguduchu, intha mathiri kelvium athuku naan solra pathilum"
Siddhik looked at Sujan and Sujan looked at him.
Siddhik- "sariah pathil sonna kandipa kelvi ketruka matanga". Sujan got provoked by his answer.
Sujan- " avanga kekura kelvi ellam epadi irukum theiruma? sample ku onnu kekuren.. 'unaku therinja pathineegala sollu'-ngra mathiri thaan kepanga. ithuku entha pathil sonnalum oru sarcastic reply kandipa varum.. athellam antha idathula irunthu paatha thaan theirum."
Athulya -"Sujju, nee", she tried to ease the situation but stopped when Siddhik talked.
Siddhik- " unga amma, unga wife nu pathil solli parunga kandipa adutha kelvi keka matanga.".
Siddhik and Sujan looked at each other. Athulya and Pragyan are shocked to the core. Athulya and Pragyan are not sure when the conversation are leading in a healthy way.
Sujan- "yen, un amma pathinee illaya nu keta enna pathil solluveenga?".
Pragyan- "anna avan..", He tried to stop the conversation.
Siddhik- "naan ungaluku therinja pathineegala sonen nu solunga. enaku therinja pathineegala solla va neenga kelunga. ipavum kelvi kepangala?"
Sujan nodded as no with a thought. Siddhik and Sujan looked at each other through out the whole conversation.
Siddhik- "Neenga ungala defend panikurathukaga ungala neengalae kayapaduthikatheenga. defend in a way so that you will be in peace and the question or the situation is nothing to you"
Siddhik gives him a slight smile. Sujan left out a long breathe and tried to smile a little.
Athulya -"sujju unaku ooruka eduthutu varatuma?". She tried to ease the situation when they are silent.
Siddhik- "athu mela iruku Athulya, naan poi eduthutu varen..", he left.
Pragyan placed his hand on Sujan's hand. He nodded with a smile. Sujan then looked at Athulya and blinked his eyes. They finished dinner after that.
Siddhik- "athulya, naan oru walk poitu varen"
Athulya -"thaniah.. vaa", she hesitated.
Siddhik- "naan onum kovama illa. i am fine. You guys need your own time.. Nan mobile eduthutu thaan poren..". Athulya nodded and he left.
She directly sat near Pragyan and Sujan.
Athulya -"sujju avaru unkita apadi pesinathu.."
Sujan- "onum thappu illa. I felt relaxed. sola pona nananum cool ah mathavangala handle panirukalam. He showed just another dimension of the same theory"
Pragyan- "apuram enna ellam okay thane.."
Sujan- "i hope so.."
Athulya -"hmm, lets hope for the best."
Sujan- "puthu RJ sonna sari thaan", he composed and started teasing.
Athulya - "ada poda work out agum nu thonala.."
Pragyan- "try pannu aththu.. nee thaniah panna vendam. nanum un kooda senthu panren. timing sariah vara mathiri pesalam". Athulya just nodded.
Sujan- "unga ennanga velila poitara?"
Athulya -'dei"
Pragyan- "enanga unagluku juice tharava?", he mimicked Athulya
Sujan- "okay Athulya". He mimicked Siddhik. she started to beat both.
Sujan- "etho odd ah iruke.. ethuvum problem ah?"
Pragyan- "enakum feel aguthu.. nijamave onnum illala?"
Athulya - "ennada neenga amma mathiri kelvi ketukitu.. ellam okay thaan"
Sujan- "inuma di nee okay okay nu suthitu thiriyura?"
Athulya glared at him and said, "naan santhosama thana iruken"
Pragyan-"evlo santhosama solra paaaru..". All three started to giggle.
Sujan- "okay, one thing.. do one thing we will believe you.."
Athulya -'podangaa..."
Pragyan- "hey yen odura.. kalyaname agiduchu.. inum enna?". Athulya stopped.
Sujan- "athane, unaku entha alavuku samaika therium nu engaluku nallave theirum.. enga kitaye unna vittu kodukala.. apuram enna.. just try"
Pragyan- "just try"
Athulya -"enna pananum? .", she left out a long breathe.
Sujan- "un aalu chemistry vathiyar thane, romba simple.. chemistry nu koopdu.. itha ennanga, nonanga ellam vendam..."
Athulya - "nee yen eppo paaru en valikaila gumbi adikurathulayae iruka?"
Pragyan- "ithellam school padikkum pothu use pana terms.. atha solra alavuku kooda neenga comfortable ah illaya?"
Sujan- "vita iva inum palaya kaalathu poi, 'prana naatha', 'swamy' nu koopduva pola"
Athulya- "dei, athu apadi illa", she whined.
Pragyan- "vera epadi? romba respect kodukura, adaka odukamana house wife ah nee?", he sarcastically said.
Sujan- "apadi ellam unala iruka mudiuma aththu?", he teased.
Athulya- "athukunu antha alavuku illa. but.. enaku avara apadi koopda varala.."
Sujan- "evara aththu?", he teased.
Athulya- "pch, poda"
Pragyan- "everything needs a start. just start it. Chemistry vendam.. Sid okay thane?"
Sujan- "ippo thaan naanga kooda irukomla apuram enna? just try"
Athulya gave it a thought. Anyhow she is trying to get close with him and so she thought to give it a try.
Sujan- "inga paaru, naming ceremony mathiri thayangi thayangi poi ninu, naan ungaluku chemistry nu peru vachiruken.. kopptukava nu permission kekatha.. just causal ah koopdu"
Sujan and Pragyan giggled. Athulya stared at first and then joined them. The same time Siddhik came in.
Once they heard foot steps the trio looked at him. They then looked at each other. Siddhik looked at them once and then moved to his room. His mind told him that, they are ready with their play.
Athulya slowly entered the room, Siddhik noticed her arrival. Siddhik turned towards her and raised his eyebrows. Her heart skipped a beat when he asked her through his eyes. She nodded as no. Siddhik furrowed his eyebrows.
Siddhik- "enna aachu Athulya?"
Athulya -"illa, padathuku kilambalama nu", she quickly changed the statement.
Siddhik- "3 minutes". Athulya nodded and left. Siddhik at first thought to change his dress but then decided as no, since there is no time. So he just took his purse and followed her. He was about to call her but froze when he heard their conversation.
Pragyan- "enna sonna?"
Athulya -"Sid, movie ku time aachu nu sonen"
Sujan- "enna solitiah? un aalu enna sonaru?", he asked with a shock.
Athulya -"oh, first shock aanaru apuram sirichukitae 3 mins nu sonaaru"
Sujan- "oh, apadi.. appo inga irunthe, 'Sid, Namma car la polama' nu kelu"
Athulya -"ethu?", she was startled.
Pragyan -"maatika pangu", he said exactly like a comedian.
Athulya -"athellam illa, athukunu unga munnadi epadi? athu naanga thaniah irukum pothu kooptupen"
Sujan- "yei ... nee per solli thane di koopdara ithula vetka pada enna iruku..", he started his teasing.
Pragya- "enaku ennamo iva vera ennamo solitu vanthirupa nu thonuthu.. ennanga, vaangalaen... ", he too joined her.
Sujan- "illaina oru vela ipadi solirupalo. 'prana naatha, neramagirathu vaarungal'.. vaangal.. ", he just acted as if in old movies.
Athulya -"dei romba ootatheenga da..". She felt embarrassed so much.
Siddhik- "Alya naan ready polama?". The trio stood up shocked. Athulya blushed a little and composed.
The trio started their journey. Siddhik thought that today's play of her is cousins is over and he successfully saved Athulya from an embarrassing situation. but that is not true. He realized their real plan once all reached the theatre.
Once they moved in to the theatre, Siddhik and Athulya was shocked to the core. Because they books the couples seat in the corner most for Athulya and Siddhik. They both widened their eyes and stood rooted.
Even though they sleep in the same room, and Athulya lie closer to him lying in his arm. There will be a mild space between them.. They wont let their bodies to touch each other. They only touch with hands when needed. Right from their marriage stage till now, they are maintaining this distance. Even in the photo session, they happened to touch like once when he hugged her from behind. Other than that, Siddhik made sure that there is a mild space between them.
But here this couples seat, this seat is not having much space too. It is sure that their bodies will brush with each other. They need to stick with each other in that seat. Added to that, It is leaned backward a little too.
Athulya- "ipadi ellam yosika solli ungaluku yaara solli kudutha?"
From the shock of the couples, Pragyan and Sujan understood that their doubt is true. They looked at each other and smirked. They need Athulya to live a happy life. They realized that there is no big problem in her marriage life and the real problem is hesitation between them. And they believed that this will push them to come out of their hesitation.
Pragyan- "ulla ponga anna, poo Athulya"
Athulya looked at Siddhik once and moved to the corner. Siddhik too followed her. Pragyan and Sujan followed.
