Binna jumped off the Ichthyosaurus with ease, helping Yuseung right after. Seeing this, Dokja knew that his sunbae's earlier worries no longer had a reason to exist. It appeared that Binna should be getting along quite well with Yuseung, considering how the older girl patted the other on the head for a job well done.
"Good job, Yuseung." The reader followed up with praise. Just as he was about to call for everyone's attention, the ground shook, causing pebbles and alike to rumble. A monster right off the bat?! However, Dokja felt deadpan as soon as he heard his sunbae's call.
"Gilyoung!" The beau called with a smile as a Giant Praying Mantis stepped out from behind the highrise buildings. "You seem to be having fun without us."
"Hyung! Dokja!"
The young boy quickly slid down the mantis' front legs. He stumbled once his feet touched the ground but Gilyoung made haste and grabbed one arm of Eun-Byeol and Dokja. After, Gilyoung released Dokja's arm before clinging onto Eun-Byeol, who pulled his arm up and let the child dangle like a monkey.
"Hyung, you know, I saw a lot of insects to play with!"
"Yeah? Did you have fun playing with them?"
"Yup!" Gilyoung began swinging his legs for fun before turning his head towards Binna. "Noona! I'll let you ride my friend over there!"
"You're the best! Why don't you go with me-- huh? Yuseung?"
Ahn Binna was stunned when the little girl just standing beside her a second ago disappeared in a blink of an eye. Huh? Where did Yuseung go? A startled yell caught everyone's attention, causing them to glance at the source.
Apparently, Yuseung appeared beside Eun-Byeol, pushed Gilyoung's face, and hugged the beau around the waist. "Mister, who's that boy?"
One look and it was obvious what was going on.
Ahn Binna huffed, marched towards them, and pushed Yuseung and Gilyoung (who was about to cling onto the beau again) away. This time, it was her turn to hug the beau. "Excuse me?! The only one allowed to hug my brother is me, his favorite little sister!"
"Wha-- I thought you agreed to let me hug hyung, noona!"
"Well, I changed my mind."
Lightning crackled between the three children. They looked as if they were about to enter a brawl and fight until only one came out on top.
Kim Dokja cleared his throat but the way his shoulders quivered obviously showed how much he wanted to laugh.
"Sunbae-nim is really good with children." Sangah couldn't help but comment. After all, she was so used to the sunbae from Mino Soft. Until now, it took her a while to get used to this side of Eun-Byeol.
Ahn Eun-Byeol laughed, picked up his sister, and rubbed their cheeks together. "That's right. My Binna is my favorite~"
The two of them made comically kissy faces at each other, causing Sangah to giggle. Yuseung and Gilyoung puffed their cheeks out in envy. Kim Dokja couldn't help but shake his head in amusement, whipping out his phone that suddenly vibrated.

The reader was speechless. Donghoon was just beside him but this teen still texted him as if they were in different places. Whatever floats his boat. "Would it hurt if you just spoke to me? I'm right in front of you, you know."

Gilyoung: "Dokja!"
Yuseung: "Mister!"
Huh? The reader glanced down as a pair of children hugged his waist.
"Noona is being a meanie!"
"That boy's been glaring at me!"

Dokja sent a look of helplessness at his sunbae's direction, only to be met by two pairs of amused gazes. Okay, fine, I shouldn't have laughed earlier. Now, I'm in sunbae's shoes. "What prize?!" Not only Yuseung and Gilyoung but also Binna asked in excitement.
"..." I didn't think that far ahead. Sunbae, help!
As if reading his mind, the beau stepped in. "Well, I can find some yarn and crocheting needles and make you a plush??"

"COUNT ME IN!" In an instant, the children quickly ran off to find their victims-- er, prey, uh, monsters and earn the most coins.

Han Donghoon fiddled with his fingers while sitting beside the beau who was busy crocheting what seemed to be a... dokkaebi? He was filled with curiosity and wanted to ask why he was crocheting those little assholes but didn't have the courage to verbally ask. Plus, Donghoon didn't see him use a phone so he wasn't sure if Eun-Byeol had one with him.
Meanwhile, Sangah and Dokja, who sat across them, couldn't help but release a breath.
Eun-Byeol sunbae was already pretty, but he was even more gorgeous when he concentrated on a task.
"You really like him, don't you?"
"... huh?" Dokja blinked in surprise, stunned by the words that Sangah uttered out of the blue.
"The way you look at sunbae-nim. I've seen our colleagues look like that towards the person they liked." Sangah pulled her legs close, hugging them tight. "It seems bizarre to fall in love at this time but seeing you and sunbae-nim makes me feel... normal, between all that has happened. It's like, we're back to when we were in Mino Soft, you know, but our relationship's better."
Kim Dokja wordlessly shifted his attention towards the beau. Even from afar, Eun-Byeol's lashes were obviously thick, long enough to tickle his cheeks if his eyes were closed. His sunbae's hair had grown longer and didn't look like he had any plans of trimming them. His brown bangs almost covered his eyes.
If it weren't for the wind always blowing them back, his sunbae's vision would always be blocked.
I really do like him, Dokja thought to himself. For inexplicable reasons, too. When they both worked at Mino Soft, all Dokja felt towards Eun-Byeol were apprehension and fear. However, when this apocalypse started, his feelings towards Eun-Byeol became a bit... complicated.
Since when did it start? Was it when he began teasing me? Or when we had our first kiss? I'm not affected by his passive skills either because the Fourth Wall always blocked them. Dokja's gaze shifted from Eun-Byeol towards the night sky.
I feel like I'm going crazy ever since sunbae joined us. Anything sunbae does, I find it cute. Even when he goes batshit insane, sunbae is just... attractive? Tempting? I don't know the exact word that could perfectly describe him. He's just... someone I like. Dokja scratched the back of his head, annoyed that he couldn't find 'the' word to describe his sunbae.
"I think the kids are coming back."
That snapped Dokja out of his musings. Glancing at the direction Sangah pointed at, he found a cloud of dust getting bigger and bigger as three children sprinted towards them.
"Dokja!"
"Mister!"
"Brother-in-law!"
Alright, it's time to judge, I guess.
In the end, it was Yuseung who won. The dokkaebi Eun-Byeol crocheted was Soo-ah.
"Who is this, mister?"
"That's the dokkaebi in charge of my channel. It's pretty cute for a little menace, isn't it?"

The beau raised an eyebrow in amusement, casting a glance filled with laughter towards the stars above.

"Promise? I think most of you are hard of hearing," came Eun-Byeol's teasing tone. "I only said that if you follow me and Dokja-shi that I'll show you something entertaining, something... mature. But I have never promised you anything. You followed us on your own accord, decided to see what I can offer you, and watched as I willingly entertain you guys.
"Not once has the word promise of that kind escaped my lips back then, right?"
The beau suddenly erupted into a bout of uncontrollable laughter.
Everyone in the area glanced at him, stupefied by what he just said.
Kim Dokja couldn't help but look away, feeling embarrassed on behalf of the constellations who got fooled. After all, if he didn't know his sunbae, he would also fall for the words Eun-Byeol uttered back then. His sunbae's face also deserved most of the credit for bluffing the constellations.
His sunbae could make anyone say yes with a single smile.

"Ugh," Dokja groaned and rolled his eyes. "Make it quick, sunbae! Kill just one, okay?! We need the rest to help us deal with the last catastrophe!"
"As you wish, Dokja-shi~" His sunbae had enough time to wink flirtatiously at him before rushing back to kill one of their pursuers.
Kim Dokja glanced at his sunbae's back, feeling both fondness and irritation. Sunbae's going to be the death of me!
