I wake up to someone knocking on the door. I look to my left and see Nate is still asleep, slowly getting out of his grip I go to the door and open it to see it was Elijah.
"Hi Good morning" I say in a sleepy voice
"good morning bambina" he says and hugs me while kissing on my forehead
"did you sleep good?" he asks
I nod "Yes I did"
"I came to wake you guys up for breakfast, go get ready and come downstairs I will wake NAte up" he says
"uh can we let him sleep a little more?" I ask him
He gives me a questioning look " I mean he was the one who planned and did everything yesterday he maybe tired from everything and we even slept late" I say
"ok fine let him sleep. Do you want to sleep too? If you are tired you can sleep for some time" he asks me
"No I am fine. I don't want to sleep now" I say and he wraps his hand around my shoulder bringing me out of Nate's room with him and shutting the door
"ok now you do your think as fast as you can. Do you want to eat something specific today?" Elijah asks
"OK yes can I have Pancakes with chocolate spread?" I ask him
"don't you get tired eating pancakes daily? try something else?"
"Then waffles with chocolate spread?" I ask him
He shakes his head in disbelief " Fine waffles with chocolate it is then"
he heads downstairs while I turn to go to my room.
Isn't it beautiful, now I have a beautiful room that I can say is mine while a few months back I didn't know what is going on or where I was.
I feel blessed to have this luxury, everything I have this room my handsome and understanding brothers.
Yes something went back but I guess the past is past now I should move on and look forward when I have eight brothers who are there for me.
I look into the mirror and smile washing my face done with my morning routine.
Now that I look into the mirror I can see a reflection of a girl who is comparatively happy and looks healthier now.
Patting my face dry I exit my room and head towards the dining area which smells like heaven at the moment.
Opening the door I smile and wish a good morning to everyone present.
"Good morning Magnolia" Ace wishes my back followed by my other brothers except for the younger two and Father
I nod at my father with a neutral expression
"What got you in good mood today?" Alex asks
I smile at him " I was just recalling yesterday, it was really a good day for me I enjoyed spending time with all of my brothers."
"we too enjoyed our time with you stella" Alex says
"yes everything was planned well. Nate is a good planner should be thanking him for the family time we had" Ace says
"He is my son, he would be good I am proud of him too " Father says
My smile fades for a moment. No I should be thankful for whatever I have I am sure he is saying this in a good way either way he didn't say anything bad
Arthur taps on my leg, I look at him and shake my head and smile
He smiles back and looks at his plate whispers so nobody could hear. "I wont let tears come in your eyes ever again Cara "
"I know" I look at him and whisper
"what" Alex asks
"I was going to ask you, Where is Bruno? I didn't see him for so long" I ask Alex
"He is with Jack. Jack was crying to me saying he missed him so I sent Bruno for a few days, he will be back soon"
"oh, Soon? how soon. Like tomorr-" I say
"Bambina your waffles" Elijah says cutting me off reminding me to eat
"uh yeah sorry" I say and take a bite
"It's fine but you better finish it" he says
While I was eating Father had a call and went to... somewhere I don't know. And Nate and Issac came down
"someone said that they had great cooking skills and they are going to prove it if they remember" Arthur says
"though I don't need to prove anything I will show you what I can do today at dinner you will be eating food cooked by me" I say
"We will see" he says
"We will" I say
Ace clears his throat "After breakfast come to my office"
"Me?" I ask
he shakes his head " no everyone apart from you"
I release a breath. His office talks are stressful and intimidating I am glad that he didn't call me
"We are done we will be there in a minute" Nate and Issac says
THIRD PERSON POV
"What does he wants to talk about ?" Issac asks Nate walking towards the stairs with Nate beside him
"how would I know. Let's go and see what is going on " Nate says
All the brothers arrive in Ace's office while Alice is down in the kitchen checking the ingredients for the dishes she is going to make/
"I wanted to discuss about Alice. Which is why I called all of you to not keep any one in dark and I also need advice of all of her brothers" Ace says in a serious tone
Everyone nods
"We know what happened with Alice and we also know the danger of our world and people are already looking for her" he says
"What do you want to say?" Arthur asks him
Ace stares at him " We have to find out more about her past and who is it and we have to take safety measures" Ace says
"Yes we do have to take safety measures but I don't think it would be good to know about her past" Noah says
"We can't protect her if we don't know what we are protecting her from" Alex says
Ace nods "Do we ask Alice about the scent of the man or do we do this our own way?" he asks his brothers
"I don't think we should ask her we should find out on our own" Elijah says
"Yes I agree with Elijah " Noah says
"Me too" Arthur says
Ace looks at Nate and Issac making the alert as their opinion on such serious matter was asked
"I don't think we should make her relive all the things or anything about her past. " Issac says
"Yes she is happy and she wants to be happy. Let's not ask her about this person" Nate says
Ace nods his head "Ok now that this matter is done. Let's discuss about her safety"
Ava was passing from the office and heard it. She stopped near the door listening in to the conversation.
"I think we should assign more guards around her" Arthur says
"But she won't feel good about it " Noah says
"Yes she wouldn't. So we will assign more guards but we will keep them out of her sight and everything" Alex says . Ace nods
"But this alone will not be enough guards can't protect her from everywhere, I mean she would be in her room and something may happen we should think more deeply" Arthur says
Everyone thinks what more can be done for Alice's safety
"A tracker like we have will do?" Issac asks
Ace looks at him with a hint of proudness
"I think my younger brothers are more intelligent than I thought" Ace says making all the brothers smile, while Issac smiled in pride getting a compliment from his Eldest brother
"But we can't do that now and keeping her safe as soon as possible is required" Elijah says
"So let's give her an accessory which has a tracker in it" Nate says
"what about a necklace ? a ring ?" Issac asks
Ace look at Elijah and nods
"We can give her a necklace we already have one which we intended to give but we have to install a tracker in it." Elijah says
"It will be done by tomorrow" Noah says
"Good" Ace says
"I am proud of you guys" Ace says making everyone smile once again while Nate tears up a little
" everyone can leave now if you don't have anything to say" Ace says
"I want to say some thing" Issac says "We are happy to have an elder brother like you"
Ace smiles at him while everyone nods at what Issac said
Ava makes a run to her room and calls him
"Hello they are going to give her a tracker tomorrow" She says
"Do it today" he says
"But there is going to be so much food today " Ava says
"Put it in everything so that everyone will be asleep when you take her to me" he says
"but if they take too much of it they will be in danger" Ava says
"Do as I say and yes destroy your phone" He says
"Ok I will do as you say" Ava says
"good now go before they find out " he says and hangs up
