you strutted through the crowd with an air of confidence, your stylish outfit drawing the attention of everyone around you.
Sae couldn't help but raise an eyebrow at your bold choice of attire, "what's with the get-up?" he asked as you approached, his tone laced with curiosity.
you grinned, a mischievous twinkle in your eye. "just thought i'd grace the mall with my impeccable fashion sense," you replied, your voice dripping with sarcasm.
"clearly, someone needs to show these people what real style looks like."
he stared at you with a deadpan expression, his lips twitching in amusement at your unabashed arrogance. "right," he deadpanned, his tone dry.
"because nothing says 'impeccable fashion sense' like parading around in front of a bunch of strangers."

the two of you settled into your seats at the 5-star restaurant, Sae couldn't help but notice the way the waiter's gaze lingered on you a moment too long. suppressing a frown, he shifted his attention to the waiter.
the waiter, oblivious to Sae's silent warning, handed you the menu with a charming smile, his eyes still lingering on you. Sae's jaw tightened slightly as he watched, his irritation growing by the second.
ignoring the waiter's lingering gaze, you perused the menu with a nonchalant air, seemingly unaffected by his obvious interest. Sae cleared his throat, drawing the waiter's attention away from you and back to him.
"we'll need a few more minutes." he stated firmly, his tone leaving no room for argument.
the waiter nodded, albeit reluctantly, before retreating to give you both some space. the reddish-brown-headed boy couldn't help but feel a sense of satisfaction as he watched the waiter walk away.
he watched as you practically drooled over the decadent dishes displayed on the menu, your eyes lighting up with excitement.
he couldn't help but hide a smile at your unabashed enthusiasm, knowing full well that price was likely the least of your concerns given your affluent background.
"so, what would you like to order?" Sae asked, his tone light as he glanced at the menu.
you looked up from the menu, a gleam of excitement in your eyes. "hmm, let's see... i'll have the lobster bisque to start, followed by the filet mignon for the main course, and perhaps the chocolate lava cake for dessert." you replied, your mouth practically watering at the thought of the luxurious feast.
Sae raised an eyebrow at your extravagant choices, but he couldn't deny the appeal of the mouthwatering dishes you had selected.
"sounds delicious," he remarked with a chuckle. "and here i was thinking i'd have to drag you away from the caviar and champagne."
you flashed him a playful grin, your ego shining through. "please, Sae," you teased, "i'm not that predictable."
eventually, you confidently placed your order, the waiter continued to steal glances in your direction, his eyes lingering on you for a beat too long.
ignoring the lingering gaze, you rattled off your selections without missing a beat.
once the waiter departed to relay your order, you turned your attention back to Sae, a playful glint in your eye.
"so, spill it, Sae," you began, leaning forward with a smirk. "what's the real reason you wanted to hang out with me today? couldn't resist the allure of my charming company, could you?"
the Itoshi couldn't help but shake his head in amusement. "oh, of course," he replied with a hint of sarcasm. "because spending time with you is just so irresistible."

the boy rolled his eyes, but there was a hint of fondness in his expression as he regarded you.
"well, i suppose i'll just have to suffer through it then." he quipped, a smile playing at the corners of his lips.
as you continued to yap away, oblivious to Sae's ulterior motives, he couldn't help but smile to himself.
he knew that your parents' return hadn't been met with enthusiasm on your part, and he wanted to offer you a brief escape from the inevitable tension at home.
listening to you chatter on, he found himself enjoying your company more than he had anticipated.
