I'm just getting home from the trap house.
I walk into my room, flipping the light switch on.
I kick off my black Portofino sneakers before sitting on the edge of my California king sized bed.
Taking my phone from my hoodie pocket I see that I have five missed FaceTime calls from Summer.
I immediately call her back...
Summers face appears on my screen covered in tears..
"What's wrong?" I ask her.
"Our relationship is over" Summer snuffles.
"Over?" I furrow my eyebrows "So you're breaking up with me?"
I stand up, pacing my room.
"No" Summer shakes her head "My mom told me that your mom said I was banned from coming to your house & seeing you"
"What?" I stop pacing "That don't even sound right"
"That's what I said" Summer cries.
"Stop crying" I tell her. "We're not breaking up"
She nods, wiping her tears.
"I'm gone call you right back once I figure out what's going on, okay?"
"Okay" Summer replies.
I end the call.
China
Red and I are picking where we want to go tomorrow on our private jet.
"Let's do Jamaica" I tell him.
"Again?" Red scoffs.
I roll my eyes "How about Paris?"
He rubs his chin like he's thinking.
"That sounds nice but I was thinking Japan. They got a go-kart tour where you ride the go-karts in the streets" Red tells me.
"Oouu that sounds like so much fun" I nod
Someone begins banging at our room door.
"Who the fuck?" Red furrows his eyebrows.
He gets up from the bed, walking over to the door.
Red opens the door and Dj walks in.
"Why the fuck you knocking like the feds?" Red questions Dj.
Dj looks directly at me. "You banned Summer from coming over here & seeing me?"
I sigh "Yes"
He furrows his eyebrows
"Why?!" Dj shouts
"Aye, lower your voice when you talking to your mama" Red warns him.
Dj ignores Red, keeping his eyes on me.
"Why?" Dj asks again, this time more calmly than before.
"Because Lola wouldn't apologize for accusing you of hitting Summer" I answer
"I didn't like how she just let Summer come back around after that stunt she pulled without saying sorry" I scoff, crossing my arms.
Dj furrows his eyebrows like he's sad..
"Mama.." Dj starts to speak but trails off.
I shake my head "I know you want to be with Summer but until Lola shows some respect and apologizes then-"
"Mama I did hit her!" Dj confesses, cutting me off.
I stare at him in shock for a few seconds and my eyes start to water...
"I'm sorry mama but I hit her" Dj repeats.
I look at Red who has his right hand over his mouth.
There's a moment of silence..
"Why did you hit her?" I ask Dj while blinking rapidly to stop my tears.
He looks at the ground..
"Because I thought she wanted to have sex with Bj"
I gasp "What made you think that?"
"Wait, are you & Summer having sex?" My eyes widen.
He nods slowly..
"So what made you think she wanted to have sex with Bj?" Red chimes in furrowing his eyebrows in confusion.
"Because she said she wanted to cheer him up after uncle Brent kicked him out and I just took what she said the wrong way" Dj admits.
Red and I look at each other.
"Dj, it's not okay for you to be putting your hands on her, no matter what she says" I tell him.
"I know that mama, I know" Dj tells me.
"It's just that I thought about how you and uncle Brent did Pops. I was worried that Summer and Bj would do the same to me and that fear turned into anger" Dj furrows his eyebrows.
I look at Red and he shakes his head.
I begin to cry.
"Mama don't cry" Dj walks over to me.
He leans on to the bed, wiping my tears.
"I have to go apologize to Lola"

Lola
I'm in the kitchen making dinner when someone rings my doorbell.
I wash my hands, using a paper towel to dry them off before walking to the front door..
I look out of the peephole seeing China.
I roll my eyes, opening the door.
We stare at each other with blank expressions..
"Can I come in?" China furrows her eyebrows.
I hesitantly move aside, allowing her into my house.
"What's up?" I question as we walk towards the kitchen because I don't want my food to burn.
I'm making fried chicken wings, corn and rice with blueberry corn bread.
"That food smells good" China compliments me.
"Thanks" I give her a small smile.
"So why are you here?" I ask confused.
She sighs "I'm sorry"
I raise an eyebrow "For what?"
"For getting mad at you when you were only protecting your daughter" She tells me.
I furrow my eyebrows "What made you apologize?"
I know there must be a reason because she was adamant about the fact that I was the one that needed to apologize..
She takes a deep breath "Dj admitted to hitting Summer"
Poncho walks up out of nowhere.
"Dj admitted to doing what?" Poncho Snarls.
