The dreaded day has come, you had been to a few different schools before, all of which had experiences that were just bad in general. Can't wait to experience how bad this one would be, even worse the car ride would at least be 4 hours, 4 hours there and 4 hours back really isn't that ideal for you. but you were still forced to go as it was on your schedule, and according to Uncle Nick, you had to go because you were legally still a child.

Expecting the long drive and all that academic stuff you had pulled out that backpack back out of your closet, the one with the SHIELD logo on it, it was kinda cringe but that was kind of all you had. You had packed your bag the night before stuffing in a few items: snacks, stationary, your SHIELD-provided tablet, a few gadgets that you got, the weapons they gave you, and ID cards. God, what was their obsession with IDing people, and giving out identification cards to drag around? in the midst of all that you also took a small music player with you, just to enjoy some music along the 8 hours you'll have to endure stuck in a car every week from now, you almost feel bad for the driver, until you realize that no one was driving and it was a self-driving car that was going to take you there.

At this point, you have refined your skills a bunch even tho it has only been a week, the tech and training gear here were very helpful to you.

You lean back and gaze out the window, observing the familiar landscapes passing by. The self-driving car smoothly navigates through the city streets and eventually transitions onto the open highway. As the urban scenery gives way to rolling countryside, a sense of tranquility washes over you.

With the tablet in your lap, you decide to make the most of the long journey by delving into some of the educational modules provided by Xavier's School. The interactive lessons bring subjects like genetic history, ethics, and control of skills and powers to life in engaging and immersive ways. Although you find yourself captivated by the content, you still feel like the people there would be unreasonable.

Occasionally, you glance at the SHIELD logo on your backpack and can't help but find it a bit cringy. You wonder why they feel the need to brand everything with their logo. It's almost as if they want everyone to know that they're involved in your life. You let out a chuckle, shaking your head at the excessive branding.

As the hours pass, you periodically switch between tinkering with the gadgets trying and enjoying your music. The curated playlist serves as a soundtrack, each song resonating with your emotions and aspirations. It becomes a comforting companion, a reminder that you are not alone on this path. As the car nears its destination, you tuck away your tablet, gadgets, and ID cards back into your backpack. You take a moment to reflect on how far you've come in just a week.

As the car roughly pulls to a stop arriving at Xavier's School for Gifted Youngsters, you step out and take a deep breath, ready to embrace the picking and cringe of the teachers. You wished you were training the whole day, instead, you had to come to this stupid school and learn stupid shit, you would rather go to a bunch of briefings for a whole day, you thought to yourself.

As you step out of the car, your initial resentment towards the school lingers in your mind. The dread of another disappointing educational experience weighs heavily on you. You can't help but roll your eyes at the thought of dealing with teachers and classmates who may not understand or appreciate your abilities.

(yo give the school a chance man.. Oh right, I'm the author... YAY! I WILL GIVE CHARACTER DEVELOPMENT!! - Yours)

Carrying your backpack, you enter the school grounds with a mix of resignation and skepticism. However, before you can make your way to your first class, a gentle voice calls out, "Excuse me, are you Y/N?"

Turning around, you see a man in a wheelchair approaching you. It's Charles Xavier, the founder and headmaster of Xavier's School for Gifted Youngsters. His kind eyes and warm smile instantly make you tense.

"Yes, that's me," you reply, unsurprised that he knows your name.

"I've been expecting you," Charles says. "I wanted to personally welcome you to the school and have a conversation before you start your classes. May we find a quiet place to talk?"

Feeling a mixture of curiosity and stress, you nod and follow Charles to his office. Once inside, you settle into a comfortable chair, and Charles takes a seat opposite you.

He begins the conversation by asking about your journey and any concerns you may have. You express your doubts about the school, sharing your past experiences and the fear of facing another disappointment. You also tell him about how you weren't sure if you were a mutant, and that you felt like you were intruding on the school's purpose.

Charles listens attentively, his empathetic presence making you feel less stressed. He reassures you that Xavier's School is different. It's a place where mutants can truly embrace their abilities and receive the support they need to grow and flourish. Exactly you thought, Xavier immediately reading your mind, says that he does think that your files showed some abnormality, and if you were a mutant he could try and help you awaken your slumbering powers. Of course, you accept his offer, and he tells you to meet him at lunch that way you can attend your first few classes.

He shares stories about other students who have faced similar challenges and have found a sense of belonging and purpose within the school's community. Charles emphasizes the importance of self-acceptance and the value of learning from others who share your unique experiences.

Feeling roused by Charles' words, you start to feel even more unsure. He offers guidance on how to navigate your classes, suggesting strategies to leverage your skills and make the most of your education.

Before you leave his office, Charles hands you a small token, a symbol of welcome and support. It's a pin with the school's emblem—a subtle reminder that you're not alone on this journey.

With newfound confidence and a sense of purpose, you thank Charles for his time and make your way to your first class.

As I stepped into the classroom, I looked around at the students who were already settled in their seats. It was the start of a new academic year, and I was the new kid joining Xavier's School for Gifted Youngsters. The room felt familiar, maybe it was because I read all of their files before coming here, you could never be too careful.

Taking a deep breath, I made my way to an empty seat near the front. As I settled in, I noticed a few curious glances directed my way. It was clear that my arrival hadn't gone unnoticed. I realized this was my chance to introduce myself and hopefully make a positive impression.

Clearing my throat, I stood up and faced the class, feeling a mix of nervousness and excitement. "Hi, everyone," I began, my voice steady but tinged with a hint of apprehension. "My name is Y/N"

A few nods and smiles greeted my introduction, encouraging me to continue. I took a moment to gather my thoughts before sharing a bit more about myself. "I come from a small secluded farm town," it wasn't a lie...

As I spoke, I noticed a few heads nodding in understanding, as if they had experienced similar feelings of being out of place. Encouraged by their reactions, I continued, "I have a background in technology, marksmanship, and sword fighting. I also enjoy tinkering with gadgets. I'm really curious about the different powers and abilities that each of you possesses. So, I'm looking forward to getting to know all of you and learning from your experiences."

A few smiles and murmurs of agreement rippled through the classroom, and I felt a sense of camaraderie beginning to form, ew. It was "comforting" to know that I wasn't alone and that this school was a place where my differences would be celebrated, rather than shunned.

Wrapping up my introduction, I added with a touch of humor, "Oh, and if anyone needs help fixing a computer or wants to discuss the latest technological advancements, I'm your go-to person."

Laughter filled the room, and it felt like a significant weight had been lifted off my shoulders. As I took my seat once again, the classroom buzzed with conversations and introductions from other students.

I eagerly awaited the start of the lesson, excited to learn not only from the teachers but also from my classmates.
