I first want to apologize for taking so long to update.  If I'm being honest, I've lacked motivation to write lately.  But thankfully inspiration is back and hopefully here to stay.  Not sure how many more chapters I have for this part before moving onto the next.  Maybe two more possibly.

Please don't forget to vote and comment on my stories!  Please interact with them as that encourages me to write more than saying "thanks for the update" or demanding for the next update.

The Cambridge family was now back home after a week of being in Scotland.  It felt so surreal having her best friends being married now, especially since Ivy said that she and Jake never wanted to get married.  That they were just happy being them.

It was a rainy day and Evelyn was really craving some cookies.

Alexander and Victoria were back at school and the twins were at their nursery.  It was just Evelyn whilst her husband was at a scheduled engagement.  Evelyn wanted to discuss with her husband and team about doing a few of her engagements via zoom.  She couldn't just stay at home and do nothing all day until she gave birth!

There was only so much she could do not by not working.  So she thought when her husband came home, she would bring it up.

*

"How was your engagement?" Evelyn asked her husband as she was getting ready to pick up her kids with her husband.

"It was good," he grinned as he loosened his tie and before he took it off she took hold of it and brought him closer to her to place a kiss on his lips and then helped him take off his tie.  "But I'm glad to be home again.  How was your day?"

"All right," she shrugged her shoulders as he changed into his normal clothes that he wore around the house which consisted of jeans, a white v-neck t-shirt and some tennis shoes.  The shirt was tight and it fit him snug in all the right places.  It was a simple outfit but one that looked so good on him.  "Not much to do."

"I'm sorry," he frowned, knowing how hard it is for his wife to stay at home when she's been so used to working all her life.  "I know this isn't ideal."

"I actually wanted to run something by you and my team but maybe on the way to get the kids?"

"Absolutely," he agreed and gave her sweet kiss as she held onto his bicep for support.

He took the keys from her and they got in her car.

*

"So, what'd you want to talk about?" William asked as he made left turn.

"I was wondering what you thought if I did some zoom calls with my patronages that I had to cancel?  That way I'm not just at home doing whatever.  It's gotten pretty boring now."

"I don't see why you can't," William thought about it.  "We can chat with Lara and see what she thinks of the idea.  We'd have to call up your patronages that we canceled the meetings with.  I don't see why your doctors wouldn't have a problem with it."

Evelyn was forever grateful that she still had the same team as when she first got engaged to William.  They had been her guiding rock as Lara had been in the secretary business for many years and was well expertises in the expectations of the Royal family.  Whilst she had her husband to help guide her as well, it helped to have the knowledge from her team.

"Thank you," she let out a sigh of relief as she relaxed more in her seat as she gave her husband a soft smile and he rested his hand on her bump for a few minutes.

"Anything for you," he told her honestly.  "I just want to make sure you are comfortable and taken care of.  But if you feel up to doing some work, I don't see why you can't," he shrugged his shoulders as he thought about her idea more.  He just wanted to see his wife happy and he knew her better than anyone.  She wasn't happy just sitting around all day doing nothing productive.

"I love you," she tells him as her arms wrap around the back of his neck and pull him closer to her.

"I love you too," he grins and and puts one of his hands on her bump.  "And this little one too," he tells her as he kisses her a little bit longer before placing a kiss on her bump.

*

"I did want to make you both aware of something," Lara tells the couple anxiously knowing that this was a sore subject.

"What's wrong?" Evelyn asked, knowing something was obviously up from the way Lara seemed nervous almost.

"Meghan's popularity has risen at about 15% more than yours," Lara told her.  "Since you haven't been able to work lately, everyone's sole attention has been on Meghan's."

Meghan had been using Evelyn's doctors orders to stay at home as a means of her time to shine. She loved being the center of attention whilst Evelyn didn't care about that.  Evelyn just wanted to meet with her patronages again.  She felt bad as she had let them down.

"I'm not sure why she thinks its a popularity contest," Evelyn shook her head.  "I do this work because I love the job I do and all of the people I get to help/meet along the way is rewarding.  I could care less if my popularity is at 5% or 100%.  If she wants to take my diagnosis as a means to help her rise in the poles that's her choice, although a disappointing one."

"Couldn't have said it better myself," William says with pride as he wished he was holding his wife's hand right now.

Popularity can be fleeting.  Especially with this line of business.  It's important to remember why your doing this job and why you married the guy you chose because if you did it for the fame and recognition, the marriage won't last.  It just won't.  William knew he married the right woman.  She was everything that he hoped he would have in a spouse.

"Me as well," Lara smiled, thankful she was working for the right duchess.  "So you want to try and do Zoom calls instead of in-person meetings?"

"Yes please," Evelyn nodded her head as William was on her side every step of the way.

*

She refilled water in her Stanley as she was getting ready to meet with her charity - YoungMinds. Its been a charity near and dear to her heart as she has learned so much in working with mental health.  William would also be joining her in on this meeting since it was one that they did together.

"You ready, babykins?" He asked his wife.

Babykins had been a nickname that he jokingly came up with one year and accidentally told the public he called her.  It annoyed her at first but now she thought it was cute.

"Almost, big Willy," Evelyn teased him.

He rolled his eyes at the annoying nickname.  He knew she was talking about his dick and when the public caught onto the nickname, they instantly loved the duchess' sense of humor!

William and Evelyn went to their desk and pulled up the Zoom website as they logged into their account.  Eventually everyone else came on as well.

"Is everyone on?" William asked with a smile on his face.

"Yes, this should be everyone," Daisy, the manager, of the organization said with a smile on her face.

"Excellent," Evelyn spoke up.  "Should we get started?"

They had a few people that were apart of the charity with them as well and they all made their introductions, they asked if anyone would like to share their story on why they joined the charity.  Ashley decided she would go first.

"I joined because I really wanted to help other people.  I've also had problems with my own family and so in a way, its been very therapeutic for me as well.  Listening to these parents stories and seeing the struggle they go through, then giving them the resources they need."

Duchess of Cambridge Surprises Charities in Zoom Calls

Written by: Daily Mail UK

At the start of the Duchess of Cambridge's pregnancy, she had been diagnosed with a serious condition called pre-eclampsia.  Many fans of the Duchess of Cambridge were disappointed to learn that she would have to stop her events and charities she had planned for the remainder of the year.

But the Duchess surprised everyone alongside her husband, The Duke of Cambridge, Prince William.  The meeitng was for a charity the couple were patronages of - YoungMinds.  The Cambridge family has been huge supporters of mental health so when they added this charity to their list of patronages it was not a surprise.

At the end of the Zoom call she was asked if she had planned to do more of the these types of engagements instead.  To which she responded - "definitely!"

The public have seen very little of the blonde duchess and more of Meghan Markle lately who is set to marry Prince Harry on May 19th.

*

She finally felt accomplished today and heard.  Not that she didn't feel heard during her time as a duchess, but her the crown was bigger than she was and she was only a small part of that.  Hell, she wasn't even born into the family, so of course her opinion didn't matter as much as she thought it would.  But The Queen still cared a great deal about what her granddaughter-in-law thought.  She was smart and she not only thought with consideration but also what was best for the future of the crown.  And to The Queen, it meant more to her than Evelyn will ever know.

If she could do at least one or two of these meetings a couple or three times a week it would be great!

"Thank you," Evelyn told her husband as she hugged him from behind.  "For everything today.  I love you."

He turned around and was now facing his wife as he wrapped his arms around her and brought her as close to him as he could.  Her arms hung on his as he tipped her chin up and she looked directly into his ocean blue eyes that she loved so much.

"I always want you to be heard.  You are my wife and I love you so much.  I hate that your going through this with this pregnancy.  I just want you happy is all."

"I am happy.  Very happy," Evelyn told him as she kissed the inside of his wrist and then leaned up to press her lips to his in a long, sweet kiss.

He deepened it as he licked her lips and she opened her mouth as he slipped his tongue in and explored.  A tingling sensation ran through her body at the familiarity of it all and how much she missed making out with him.  Their tongues dancing with the other as his reached down and cupped her face as she applied more pressure to his lips.  They forgot about everything going on in the moment and just focused on them as a couple.

It wasn't until they heard Victoria let out a shriek as she was running in the house from the kitchen to the sitting room, oblivious to what her parents were doing, but it was enough to startle them.  Evelyn's eyes opened as she blinked a couple times to remember where they were and he did the same as they unattached their lips.

Evelyn placed a chaste kiss to his lips before she left to go make sure that their kids weren't getting into trouble.

*

Evelyn and William had taken their children over to her parents house as she wanted to spend some time with them.  They loved spending time with both grandparents but especially Evelyn's parents since they could just be normal.

For a couple days now, Evelyn's mom's left side of her lower stomach was really bothering her.  Now to the point where she couldn't even walk and she felt so bloated.

"How's mum doing?" Evelyn asked her dad.

"Not good," he shook his head.  "I tried to get her to the hospital but she doesn't think its bad enough to go yet."

"I'm gonna go check on her.  Is she in your room?"

"Yeah," he lets out a tired sigh.  "Hasn't left it in a couple days."

"I'll be back," Evelyn says and squeeze's her husband's bicep before she disappears into her parents room.  "Mum?  You okay?"

"No," Natasha shakes her head as she grimaches in pain as she tries to sit up and Evelyn rushes to her side as Natasha hold her stomach.  "I think I need to go to the A&E.  Something's not right," Natasha says.

"Okay," Evelyn says concerned.  "D'you think you can walk?"

"Yeah, barely.  But I can walk," she gets out as she stands up slowly.  She doesn't even care if she's in her satin pyjamas, she just knows she needs to go to the hospital.

Evelyn wrapped a arm around her mum to help her walk steadily and both men looked up when they saw the two women walking their way.

"We need to go to the A&E," Evelyn announced as her mum struggled to walk and Peter took over to help his wife.

"I'll take the kids home," William told his wife.  The kids shouldn't be in the hospital when there are so many sick patients there.  "D'you want to come with or stay with your parents?"

"I'll stay with my parents.  I just want to make sure my mum is okay."

"Of course," he pecked her lips.  "Feel better, Natasha," William told his mother-in-law who gave him a strained smiled as Peter helped her into the car.

Natasha had a hard time talking right now because she was in so much pain and could barely stand up right.  Evelyn knew it wasn't her appendix because otherwise she would be gripping her right side of the stomach but right now it looked like she was pressing in on the left side.  She just hoped she was all right.

"Thank you for taking care of the kids," Evelyn tells her husband.   "I'll see you all later on!" Evelyn tells him as she rushes as fast as she can walk to meet up with her parents.

*

Natasha was currently getting a CT done and the family was in a private waiting room so that the public wouldn't go up to the duchess or anyone in the family.  She normally didn't mind when people came up and stopped to chat with her but today was about her mum.  Her mum was her best friend and she just wanted everything to be okay with her.  She felt terrible that she had been so focused on herself and her own family that she hadn't realized her mum hadn't even felt okay enough to get out of bed.

"You okay?" Her dad asked her as he noticed she had rubbed her eyes with her hands and seemed more distant, staring off into space.

"I just - I feel so guilty.  How did I not know that my mum wasn't feeling good?"

"To be fair, she didn't want you knowing," Peter told his daughter who looked up at him with furrowed eyebrows.

"But why?  We tell each other everything..."

"You know mum.  She doesn't like talking about her own health.  Besides, she knows that you've been going through a lot with this pregnancy."

"I appreciate that, I do.  But I need to talk with her and tell her its not all about me.  I don't want it ever to be that way.  I love you all and we've always been there for each other.  So don't stop now."

"I know," Peter nods his head, proud of his daughter.  They had met Harry's fiancé on multiple occasions and she never asked about them.  It was always about her and what she was doing at the moment.  "I'll have to remind her that as well."

"Family for Natasha Bennett?" A nurse calls out for them.

They all stand up and walk up to her.

"She's done with her CT and in a room now.  I'll take you all up to her.  Please follow me."

"Thank you," Evelyn tells the nurse and they follow behind her.

"You have something called diverticulitis," the doctor tells Natasha and the family.  "It's not bad right now but it can be which is why you really need to watch what you eat.  What happens with diverticulitis is any small thing like seeds, nuts or the kernel from popcorn can get in these pouches we have and inflame them.

"Can it be manageable?" Evelyn asked wanting to know what she can do to help.  What they can all do to help.

"Definitely," the doctor sounds confident as he gives them a warm smile.  "With a good diet and again making sure to not eat an excessive amount of seeds, nuts or popcorn, you can get there.  I'll have my nurse come in and give a more detailed version of what we recommend to combat this.  And it sounds like you have a good support system and that's also important," he tells Natasha.  "I'm going to prescribe you some medication to help with the pain and discomfort as well as some antibiotics that will hopefully calm the inflammation down.  You'll have those before you leave."

"Thank you, Dr. Cole," Natasha told him, just relieved now to know what was wrong with her and that she wasn't making it all up.

"Of course," he gave them a soft closed-lip smile.  "Hopefully these will help you feel better and I would like ot get you seen with a gastroenterologist who specializes in this, alright?  I would also like for you to follow up with your primary care doctor."

"I will," Natasha agrees and the family thanks him before he leaves.

His nurse came in and explained the benefits of being on a low-fiber diet and gave Natasha some handouts of what that all includes.

Word had gotten out that the Bennett family was at the The London Clinic and paparazzi was already there by the time they were leaving.  Before marrying William, the Bennett family had always been famous.  But since marrying into the Royal family, the paparazzi was unlike anything the Bennett family had seen even for them.

Shouts could be heard as Evelyn tried to shield her mum.  Hospital staff helped as well by police being there to back off the paparazzi.

Evelyn would rather they get pictures of her rather than pictures of her mum, who was considered a private citizen.  But the media and paparazzi didn't care as long as they got pictures of the family and especially of Evelyn and her bump.

Evelyn, Duchess of Cambridge Adds New Charity To Her List

Since being diagnosed with preeclampsia during The Duchess of Cambridge's third pregnancy, called Action on Pre-eclampsia.  The Duchess also added a sweet message about the charity on their official Twitter page:

Since being diagnosed with Pre-eclampsia, I am looking forward to adding Action on Pre-eclampsia to my charities list.  Not only to learn about the condition for myself but to maybe help others who have it as well.  I look forward to working with you! -E

The Duchess of Cambridge has not been one to be shy about this diagnosis and since she has, she has made the public more aware of the condition.

I am so incredibly sorry for being behind on updates!  I'll try to get better but I was not expecting having to do medical assitant school.  I was told incorrect information when I was going to school for my bachelors and finally told the right information.

Please be patient with me as I try to figure out a good updating schedule that will work with my time.  I also had trouble with this chapter having writers block but please enjoy this one.

Get ready for the drama!  What do you think is gonna happen next?

I'm already excited to write the next and last part for this book!
