Sasha finishes packing her suitcase and she pushes past her mom, bumping her shoulder on the way out.
I follow..
"Where the hell you think you going?" Her mom slurs.
"Don't act like you care" Sasha scoffs.
I watch as her mom grabs her arm "Get back in your room"
"Please get your hands off me" Sasha asks so nicely that it sounds not nice.. if that makes sense.
Kind of like she's warning her..
Sasha begins counting down from five like moms do when they're about to whoop your ass...
She gets to one and her mom is still gripping her arm.
Sasha drops the suitcase and tackles her mom to the ground punching her.
Oh shit.
"Bitch I said get the fuck off me" Sasha yells attacking her mom.
I grab Sasha, pulling her off.
"Let go of me, I'm so sick of this bitch" Sasha yells kicking as I hold her tightly.
It seems like she's letting out years of anger..
"Calm down mami, please" I beg holding on to her for dear life.
After a few seconds she calms down and relaxes in my arms.
"Let's go" I tell her "Let's just go"
"Ok" She takes one last look at her mom before exiting the apartment with me right behind her..
Dj (Daniel Jr)
"Congratulations" Summer tells Dani as we walk into the hospital room.
Dani laying in the hospital bed with a nappy head & Armon is asleep on the couch.
"Thank you" Dani smiles showing her pearly white teeth.
I walk over to the bassinet and stare at my niece in awe "She looks just like me"
Dani laughs "Boy please"
"What's her name?" Summer asks Dani.
"Aaliyah" Dani answers pointing at the white board with the baby's name, weight, birth date and time of birth on it.
"Aww that's a pretty name for a pretty girl" Summer coo's at Aaliyah.
The room door opens and in walks my mom & dad.
My mom has subway in her hand.
"My granddaughter pretty ain't she?" My dad brags standing next to me.
My mom hands Dani the subway.
"Thank you, I'm starving" Dani rips the sub open like she ain't ate in days.
Greedy ass..
I cough and my dad pushes me away from the bassinet.
"Boy don't be coughing on my grand-baby, back your ass up" Pops mugs me.
"Push me again and you won't have a hand" I threaten playfully while side eyeing him.
He chuckles "Boy you sound like me"

I'm sitting in my living room smoking a fat blunt and watching football.
"That's what the fuck I'm talking about!" I yell at the tv as the 49ers begin to win.
someone rings my doorbell.
I pause the game, standing up to open the door..
Opening the door I see Bj and some girl.
Bj walks right past me and into the house. The girl follows..
I close the front door "I didn't tell you to come in"
"Man pops chill out, now is not the time" Bj states like he's stressed.
He plops down on the couch and the girl sits next to him.
I stare, waiting on him to speak.
I'm so happy he's okay and I'm glad to see him..
"Can I please come home?" Bj pleads.
I smirk "You ready to talk?"
He nods.
"Where did you get that gun and all that money?" I ask getting straight to the nitty gritty.
He sighs "I'm in a gang"
"Oh really?" I pretend to be shocked then my face goes blank.
"Whose gang are you in?" I question.
Then I look to the girl "You trust her to hear this information?"
Bj shrugs "Yeah"
"I can go wait in the car" The girl tells Bj beginning to stand up.
"Nah you good" Bj assures her.
She sits down.
"I'm in Dj's gang" He answers causing me to nod slowly.
"Red put y'all up to this?" I ask raising an eyebrow.
He shakes his head "No, it was completely our idea. We wanted to be like y'all"
"Like us?" I question with a chuckle.
"You lil niggas could never be like us. Red and I would've ran circles around y'all back in the day" I tell him truthfully.
He chuckles.
"But thank you for being honest" I continue.
He nods "So can I come home?"
I nod "Where you been staying at?"
"Uncle Reds house, he let me drive one of his cars and gave me his black card for new clothes" Bj smiles.
That nigga Red..
"Can she stay too?" Bj asks bringing me out of my thoughts.
"This must be Sasha" I speak causing his eyes to widen.
"You thought your mama wasn't gone tell me?"
