Poly Marinette, Kagami, and Luka and one of our favorite gay romances of the tomato and the blackberry
The group plans a double date and the class tries to ruin it
Kinda short cuz I didn't want to make it long with too many characters and dialogue and I updated like 3 chapters of other stories so I'm kinda braindead lmao
Marinette took a breath of the wintry air and smiled. It was the last day before winter break (IK I already had one like this but don't judge T-T) and she was excited. Not for school, because all she was surrounded by was liars, fakers, and gold diggers who took advantage of their friendship. But after class, Marinette was going on her date with Luka and Kagami, along with Marc and Nathaniel, making it a double date.
The main reason why Marinette was excited was because she had never done a double date before, especially since she has two lovers. I mean, sharing is caring right?
Anyways, the group planned reservation at a dinner place (personally Mexican food is my favorite like non-American food so I pictured there a little bit) and would watch the meteor shower scheduled for that night. A simple but romantic gesture.
As Marinette daydreamed all throughout class that day, Lila and her posse kept trying to ruin her day. When they realized they weren't getting through to her, they created a plan.
"Ok, so you're going to follow her and see what her plans are later. We can surprise her and demand she makes up with Lila so we can all hang out together." Alya explained to Alix while they schemed at lunch. Marinette was out, probably at the bakery and assisting with the lunch rush. She figured Alix would be the most successful because she had roller blades and those would be faster on foot. Lila agreed, saying how if anything went wrong she could warn them beforehand. Alix agreed and hovered around Marinette that entire day, trying to figure out her plans. Adrien didn't think it was a good idea, since Marinette was entitled to her own business, but Alya shut that down with 'We're friends, of course her business is my business too.'" (U guys see what I did there T-T)
When all seemed lost, Lila overheard Marinette talk about a double date planned at a restaurant not too far from the school. The liar returned back to the group with a time and location. The official plan was to wait outside the building until the date was over, or sneak inside and confront in the bathroom as a private place.
Now, planning to talk to Marinette and actually making that happen were two different things. For one, Alya knew how busy that particular restaurant gets, especially for couples or family members. They could easily lose track of the girl, but it shouldn't be too hard since not too many people have the same shade of hair she does.
Alya's mother also made her learn proper etiquette for certain establishments, so they had to blend in and look like they paid to get in rather than sneaking in.
Lila however, knew this was easily a faulty plan and decided to save herself. So before the group got ready to confront, Lila called Alya teary eyed that she had something come up at the last minute and couldn't be there. But she said she was able to book a last minute reservation so they wouldn't sneak in and possibly embarrass themselves.
Alya, still not seeing that it was not possible to get a reservation that late because there was a very long waitlist, believed her, thanked her, and comforted her that they would update her later.
Since there was one less member, the plan turned into an 'Everyone For Themselves' type of situation. Alya wanted to get in with the reservation while Alix wanted to sneak in. She was skeptical about how quickly Lila brought it up, but didn't mention anything earlier.
Adrien wanted to try the reservation, knowing good and well Lila was lying. Once it was revealed there was none, he would try paying for it himself. He didn't want Lila to be embarrassed, so he brought extra money just in case.
Alya and him asked the person at the front about the reservation, but she confirmed there was none under Rossi or any other name. Adrien looked defeated when he realized his plan wasn't going to work, but Alya was stubborn. As soon as she saw Marinette head for the bathroom in the corner of her eye, she marched up to her. The woman at the front ordered someone to go get her while she kept Adrien there. He cringed as he noticed the attention Alya was getting.
Marinette was enjoying her time with her friends, minding her own damn business mind you, when Alya came out of nowhere and practically demanded that they talk in the bathroom. But before she could protest, a server requested Alya leave, since she had no table in their name and didn't appear to be with another group.
Alya looked to Marinette for help to vouch for her, but all Marinette did was glare. "I don't know who she is, but she is not part of our party." The server nodded and led Alya out. She turned red in anger and annoyance and left Adrien at the front. He sheepishly pulled out a $100 bill and told them to keep the change and left.
Meanwhile, Alix was more sneaky. She was able to sneak into the bathroom with a bit of parkour and an open window. As soon as she landed, Marinette came through the doors. They both jumped, but realized each other wasn't a threat. Marinette glared again.
"What are you doing here? First it was Alya, now it's you! Next you're going to say Adrien is here too!" Alix rubbed her neck.
"About that..." Marinette groaned into her hands.
"Look, I'm just trying to enjoy my double date night, that's all. I don't want any trouble, but if you want to talk, please let it wait until tomorrow or when school starts back. I don't feel like being bothered about Lila right now." Alix perked up when she heard double date.
But then she remembered earlier in the week, she overheard Marc and Nathaniel talking about a date this weekend as well. The tomboy wanted to smack herself, she felt like an idiot. Marinette chuckled at her old friend's naievity.
"Lila was lying the entire time, wasn't she?"
"Yep. Glad you figured it out now."
"I'm just glad I never hurt you physically like Alya did." Alix sighed. "I'm sorry I doubted you and it took this long to realize it. Now that I think about it, all her lies seem really far fetched. Is Lila even her real name?" Both girls laughed, talked more, then Alix snuck back out. But not before wishing her a good luck for the rest of the date.
"And don't tell Nath I was here, he'd kill me if he found out I knew he and Marc were dating." Marinette gave her a smirk and gestured for her to leave. When she got back to the table and was asked what took so long, she said she had to talk to an old friend.
The rest of the date went amazing, and they all made wishes on shooting stars. Marc and Nathaniel wished for good luck on their careers and relationship, while the blueberries wished for their relationship to last and for the downfall of a liar. Little did they know that was about to come true.

Alya was fuming at Lila once she returned home. Lila had lied to her, but why? Was she not there for her every step of the way, and when Marinette-.
Alya froze. Marinette had been saying Lila was a liar for months. Alya did what she should have done a long time ago, and checked her sources.
Lila had been lying about known facts about celebrities for the longest time. Jagged Stone was allergic to cats, Clara did her own moves, and more. The blogger knew what she needed to do.
She made a video talking about how she was going to delete Lila's interviews since they spread false information. She was also going to go on break for now so she could find ways to regain her credibility. As soon as she posted it, most of the videos were gone.
Over half her videos were removed, which really showed Alya how bad of a friend she was being.
That's when she realized she left Adrien alone at the restaurant. Alya groaned into her pillow.
She could deal with that tomorrow.

By the time the break was over, things had changed a lot. Marinette's relationship became more public along with Marc and Nathaniel's, Lila's lies came to light and no one wanted anything to do with her, and Marinette received her long overdue apologies.
Of course, she didn't forgive them and said they needed time to heal, and it would be considered if they would ever be friends again. But one thing was for certain.
Lila's kingdom was destroyed. And all it took were terrible plans and a wish on a shooting star.
