During the hectic night at the restaurant, the kitchen filled with Sunhee, Yumi and Geonwoo. They were doing their best while Geonwoo was teasing Yumi.
"Who's being slow today?" He said
"The one who has time to talk"
"You two are more taking more years from me than Pea" Sunhee rolled her eyes " Yumi go for your break."
"Thanks"
She grabbed her phone as she was drinking some water and saw Joshua had texted her, she started grinning immediately.

As the night progressed, little by little the restaurant was getting empty and they could finally breathe.
This time Geonwoo and Gyuri went home while Sunhee and Yumi were doing the closing of the restaurant.
"You can go home to your family you know?"
"Jokes on you because Dokyeom and Pea are coming here. I'll clean with you and then you'll eat with us"
"I don't wanna intrude, and I don't want your pity"
"Ya! It's not pity..." Sunhee slapped Yumi arm " I love your company and so does Dokyeom"
"But you two need your time together"
"Who?" it came Dokyeom with Pea's stroller
"Yumi is being weird about eating with us. She don't want to be the third wheel"
"I can call Joshua" Dokyeom smiled and took his phone
Yumi ran to him and took his phone "I'll grab the knife and stab you"
"Why? I thought you were friends... that way he can keep you company" Dk teased her
"Let her be, but you won't run from eating with us" Sunhee said
After a demanding night at the restaurant, they all went to Sunhee house to eat something.
As Yumi settled into her seat, Pea reached her arm for her. Yumi immediately smiled and grabbed her to her lap.
"Hey sweetie. Shouldn't you be sleeping?"
"She has too much energy" Dk said putting the food in the table "like her father"
"When you settle down choose a calm person" Sunhee suggested laughing
"I'll keep that in mind"
As the food arrived, Yumi dug in, the table was silent as they ate. Even the baby was enjoying her bottle of milk without any sound.
"So, how's life in Korea treating you? Adjusting well?" Sunhee asked her with a warm smile.
Yumi nodded, "It's been a journey, but I'm loving it. You guys were so welcoming , and the food... well, you can say I really missed this amazing food"
Sunhee chuckled, "You know, food has a way of bringing people together, I love seeing Dokyeom face when he likes my food"
"It's the best babe" he said winking at Sunhee
"You conquer his stomach I see. But I agree with you, seeing the joy in people faces is pretty great"
"I'm kinda envious on the fact you got to study abroad"
"You shouldn't...." Yumi comfort her seeing her friend smile fade "you're amazing, I'm actually learning from you"
"I know you're lying but thank you" Sunhee smile reappeared
After a long night, Yumi was ready to leave the couples house for pea to sleep.

True to his word, Joshua arrived at the park with a small bag in hand, containing some food and drinks he picked up from the convenience store.
Yum was waiting on a park bench, looked up with a smile as she saw him approach.
"That smile is for me or for the sweets?" Joshua said, handing her the bag.
"Do you want to hear the answer?" She answered him looking at the bag " you'll be disappointed"
"I bought a lot"
Yumi's eyes lit up with excitement. "Let's see what you got."
As they sat on the bench, they started eating the goodies and enjoying their impromptu date.
Joshua noticed that Yumi was wearing a light jacket and considering that it's midnight, it's pretty cold "I should've told you it's gets chilly at night" he took his jacket and put around her shoulders.
Yumi chuckled, " Always a gentleman" she was looking at the city lights in the distance "It's moments like these that make me appreciate being here. It's beautiful"
Joshua's gaze met hers, "It is... I started going out at night to clear my head but now I really enjoy just for the view and the quietness"
As the night drew to a close, Joshua suggested they take a stroll through the park. Closer to each other they were enjoying the serenity and each other's company.
As they were walking, Joshua couldn't help but to talk to her "You won't believe what happened today . Seungkwan accidentally tripped over a microphone cord, and the chaos started to with Hoshi teasing him"
Yumi laughed, "Oh no, poor Seungkwan! I can imagine you all enjoying the show"
Joshua nodded, "Absolutely. I was so sore but laughed anyway.Any interesting happen in the restaurant?"
Yumi grinned, "Oh, you have no idea. There was this customer who was convinced our kimchi had some additive powder since he couldn't stop eating . I had to assure him that it's no drug, just good ol' traditional Korean kimchi!"
"He's not wrong that your food is addictive, it's truly amazing"
"You know, it's crazy being back home. It doesn't feel home although is home. I was away for 5 years but I love La. When I was there , I used to love taking long walks in the park, just like this."
Joshua listened attentively, "I can imagine I miss it terribly.But I'm glad you're here. And hey, parks are pretty universal, right?"
"Im glad u came back too. And thanks to you, I can add this place for my walks" Yumi nodded
As they strolled through the park, Yumi gazed at the stars above. "You know, my grandma used to tell me that stars hold the stories of people we love. It's like they're watching over us."
"Wise woman"Joshua looked up at the sky

Little did they know that the stars above were witness to a beautiful relationship that was destined to shine brightly in the nights to come.
