(Y/n)'s POV
Today, Stan was having a fair at the Mystery Shack. They had a ferris wheel, question mark corn dogs, and a dunk tank! Stan was in the dunk tank.
"Hey kids, wanna try?" Stan asked us
"No thanks!"
"I'll try!" A random kid said. He threw the ball and hit the target, but Stan didn't fall in.
"Haha! " Stan laughed at the kid
I think he rigged it...
-Later-
We were all having fun and laughing together. Mabel saw a pig and got all excited.
"AAHH!! OH MY GOSH! DIPPER!! HE SAID MY NAME!" Mabel shouted excitedly
Dipper and Bill went to the stand to see the pig. I was about to catch up (I was tying my shoe) until I see someone's shoes standing in front of mine. I look up to see Gideon
"Hello there!" Gideon greeted
"Hi Gideon! What's up?"
"Oh, I was just in the neighborhood, and I decided to stop at this fair! Then I saw you here, all by yourself. Would you like to go on the ferris wheel with me?"
"Sure! Let's go!" I pulled his arm and went on the ferris wheel with him
Dipper's POV
Mabel was trying to win the pig she saw by guessing how much it weighs.
"Ah, ol' fifteen poundy. Welp, how many pounds do ya think he weighs?"
"Uh, fifteen pounds?"
"Correct! Are you a witch?"
Mabel was given the pig, and she hugged it. I realized (y/n) wasn't with us anymore
"Where's (y/n)?" I asked Bill
"She said she was just going to tie her shoe"
"Okay, i'll be right back" I went to go look for her and saw her talking to Gideon. She grabbed his hand and led him to the ferris wheel. They were laughing and talking together. I felt... jealous. Bill and Mabel caught up with me
"Hey Dipper, i'm naming the pig Waddles and.." Mabel looked where I was looking "Oh.." I saw Bill glaring at Gideon
We all watched them until some guy bumped into us.
"Hey, you look weird, are you from the future?" Mabel joked
"N-no! Of course not, why would I be from the future? Do you think that this measuring tape is actually a time machine too?!?"
"Uh. I just joking. But you are from the future?!" Mabel asked
"Yes... I am Blendin Blandin. I came here on a mission to prevent a series of time anomalies from happening, but I can't find them anywhere!"
I looked at (y/n) and Gideon, then back at Blendin.
"Can I borrow it?" I asked
"No way! This device is way to complicated for you three to handle!"
How can I get him to give me the time machine?
"How about you play some games, Blendin? You've been walking around this whole time, so take a load off!" Bill grinned
"O-okay!" He walks over to a teacup ride that Soos was watching over
"Sorry dude, you gotta take off that tool belt. It might fall off and accidentally fix something" Soos told him
"Okay, guard it with your life." he gave Soos the tool belt and ran to the ride.
"I'll watch it like a hawk." Soos told him before starting up the ride.
"Like a hawk!" He reminded Blendin
Bill grabbed the tool belt and went back to me and Mabel.
"Hey, thanks. But why did you help me?" I asked with suspicion
"In case you forgot, I like her too. So i've gotta do something to stop Gideon!" Bill said annoyed
"Right. Let's go back to an hour ago then."
No one's POV
Dipper, Bill, and Mabel tried numerous times to prevent (y/n) from hanging out with Gideon.
In one timeline:
"Would you like to go on the ferris wheel with me?" Gideon asked
"Wait, (y/n)! Don't go with him!"
"What? Why?"
"He's trying to trick you?"
"Don't be silly Dipper!" (Y/n) laughed
"Why would you accuse me of such a thing? Let's go (y/n)!" Gideon pulled (y/n)'s hand to go to the ferris wheel with him, leaving Dipper alone
"I'd like that pig please!" Mabel told the guy at the stand
"Ah, ol' fifteen poundy. So, how much do you think the pig weighs?"
"Fifteen pounds!" She said with confidence
"Here ya go!"
Another timeline:
"Let me just tie my shoe first, okay Bill?"
"W-wait! Don't, just come with us!" Bill tried to pull (y/n) with them, but she ended up staying and getting upset at Bill. She saw Gideon while tying her shoe. You know the rest
"Fifteen pounds! And yes, i'm a witch." Mabel said, receiving the pig once again
Too many timelines:
Dipper and Bill tried staying with her, but Gideon still came and managed to bring her to the ferris wheel alone
Present:
"Argh, what are we doing wrong?!" Bill said, frustrated
Dipper was writing on the glass of a popcorn stand, trying to figure out a possible timeline where Gideon doesn't talk with (y/n).
"Aha! I got it!" Dipper exclaimed.
The last timeline:
"Hey (y/n), let's go get my pig!" Mabel ordered
"Okay, okay!"
Mabel hid her behind another game stand. "why are we here?" (Y/n) asked Mabel
Mabel looked and saw Gideon. Bill and Dipper talked with Gideon instead of (y/n) talking with him
"Have you two seen (y/n)?" Gideon asked
"Nope, sorry, but she isn't here!" Dipper informed.
"Yep, she went to uh- town!" Bill assured Gideon.
Gideon looked at them, but left. Mabel brought (y/n) out. The three high fived and celebrated, while (y/n) was confused.
"Now, let's win Waddles and hangout together!" Mabel said happily
"Aaaaaahhhhhhh!!!!!" Mabel shouted
"What happened?" Dipper and Bill went running to her. Mabel pointed to Pacifica winning Waddles
"We have to go back in time so I can win Waddles!" Mabel said, trying to get the measuring tape from Dipper.
"Mabel, this is the only way (y/n) won't end up with Gideon!"
"Yeah, and I don't want to do this another hundred times!" Bill agreed
Mabel got the tape, but ended up taking them back to the Oregon Trail. Upset at Dipper, Mabel intentionally messes up the past. Dipper gets the tape back, and takes them back to the present.
Mabel gives up, Dipper says she'll get over it, but she doesn't.
Dipper and Bill look at each other and at Mabel with guilt
"If we must..." Bill sighs
Dipper takes them to the original timeline, and Mabel gets Waddles back
Dipper's POV
I was tackled into a bear hug by Mabel
"Thanks Bro Bro!! And thanks Bill! Waddles, say thank you!" Mabel said happily. Waddles oinked in a way that sounded like 'thank you'
"Your welcome..." "Yeah..." Dipper and Bill told her
Mabel looked at Gideon and (y/n) then back at us. "Here, I got this." Mabel got a random corn and threw it into Gideon's huge hair. Waddles ran to the corn and jumped on Gideon in the process. Gideon tried to stop himself from falling by holding onto a table, but he still fell AND got different drinks spilled on him. Everyone at the fair laughed. Even (y/n)
Bledin took the time machine from us, but he got arrested instead of us for causing the time anomalies. Wait.. we were the ones that caused it? Anyways, Stan ended up getting dunked by the people who were arresting Blendin
In the end, this day wasn't all that bad!
