" What's wrong?"
" Stressed with school work. Where's Cibael?"
" In her room."
" What of mum and dad?"
" Still on a business trip. Go and get some rest."
" Sure."
Tyron takes a quick shower and joins his sisters to eat.
Olivares Home
Mia: Welcome Miss. You must be tired.
Rashell: I am.
Ian: Rashell!
He runs to hug his sister.
" ¿ Por qué estás corriendo?"
" Entró al cuarto de Juanita y se comió su helado." Says Lupita
" Ian didn't we make a deal you won't eat anyone's ice cream again?"
" Lo siento, Virginia."
" Go and tell Juanita that."
Juanita joins them downstairs.
"Phibel, Ian has something to tell you."
" ¿Eso?"
" Lo siento. I won't go into your room and eat your ice cream again."
" Apology accepted but we need to get ice cream again."
" Virginia please.. can we go and get it?"
Lupita pleads with Rashell.
" Yhh. I'll take a quick shower and we'll go and get it."
Rashell takes a quick shower and joins her siblings to get ice cream.
Maclin Home
After dining, Emily takes Cibael to her room and watches her sleep. Tyron sits on his desk and works on his assignment.
Knock
" Can I come in?"
" Huh! Since when did you ask permission before walking into my room."
" Popcorn?"
" Yep."
Emily hands Tyron the popcorn and jumps on his bed.
Chewing he says,
" So what do you plan on doing?"
" As of now?"
" Yh."
" Don't know yet but having fun like a trip with you, Cibael, mum and dad is a must."
" Sounds nice."
" What are you focused on?"
" Project work."
" And you're doing it alone, don't you have a partner?"
" Uh..I do.. but we decided to do it separately."
" Oh okay, not bad. Are you almost done?"
" Not really but we can talk."
He stops the assignment and joins his sister on his bed.
" I miss the old days." Sighs deeply
" Really?"
" Yhh"
" Are you still dating or its over?"
" Guess?"
" It's over."
" Yep."
" What happened?"
" Lack of communication, busy with work, you know how the US army works too. All the same it's pretty well with the others."
" I see.. you must be seeing someone now, or?"
" Kinda. He's also in the army."
" That's lovely."
" Yep. Now enough of me. Let's talk about you."
" What do you want to know?"
" After the nude scandal, did you still go out with Beverlyn?"
" Naa. We actually broke up wey before the nude issue."
" Seriously?"
" Yep..why?"
Emily raises her head to look at her brother who is staring at the chandelier.
" How many exes do you have?"
" Just two. Why do you think I'm a play boy?" Giggles.
" Kinda. So why did you two break up and are you seeing someone new?"
" She's too clingy, even though it's over between us, she still asks for a kiss or sometimes tries intimacy."
" Woo..... She must be really into you."
" I guess."
" So are you seeing someone else?"
" Nope.. just having fun with the girls."
" Heard there's this rich girl in your school. I also heard she's damn pretty. Pass me the popcorn."
" Here. Handing her the popcorn. Which girl exactly after all our school is full of rich kids.."
" Olivares."
" Oh. Rashell-Virginia Olivares.. she's in my class and currently sits next to me."
" Really?"
" Yh."
" Is she pretty as they say?"
" Wey that...not just pretty but curvy aswell. It's just difficult to read her sometimes."
" You seem to like her."
" No way, we dislike each other."
" Do you like her?"
" Who? Rashell? Laughs. C'mon Emily, hell no. Her personality no but her body, of course. No one will reject a soft big booty and beautiful skin of hers.".
" You're indeed a play boy."
She says and pours the popcorn on him.
" Why did you pour it on me?"
" Cause you never know what you want and you're always joking."
" Where do you think you're going after pouring the popcorn on me.?"
" Do we sleep in the same room?"
" You'll have to clear the popcorn first. Emily!"
" You deserve it dumbass, sleep tight.". She laughs and walks out.
Olivares Home
Back home after getting ice cream, she sits by her study table and completes the assignment whiles eating, sandwich with mango juice since she refused to eat dinner.
She finishes the food and work an hour later and descends the stairs to the kitchen and finds Mia washing the bowls and her siblings laughing to a comedy show.
" Hand it to me."
" Thanks. Are they done eating?"
" Yh. Will you be okay with what you've taken in or do you want me to tell the other cook to prepare something for you?"
" Está bien no te preocupes."
" De acuerdo."
" I'm going to my room then."
" Wait, did the tea work?"
" Yes it did. Thanks and sorry I didn't tell you."
" No worries."
In her room, she packs everything from her study table into her bag. And with the lights out, she jumps into bed leaving the lamp next to her bed on. She thinks about what happened between she and Tyron and can't sleep.
At the Maclin Home, Tyron can't sleep either as he thinks about Rashell and their kiss.
Next day
Dressed up for school in a crop top, jeans and boots. With her shoulder length hair curled and glasses on as usual.
Class
Everyone is seated and Miss Sydney walks in. She calls every one to present their work.
" Tyron and Rashell, which one of you is presenting?"
" Ummm...Miss Sydney, we couldn't..."
" The work is done and I'll be presenting it."
" Alright."
After the presentation, she walks to sit down and Tyron watches her carefully and Rashell notices his eyes on her.
" You should be listening to Miss Sydney and stop looking at me "
" I'm not and why are you being this way?"
" I have no reason to be this way, after all, I've always being like this."
Class ends..
" Rashell."
" What is it Tyron?"
" About the work, why didn't you tell me you were done with it?"
" Should I have told you?"
" Of course, I did mine, everything."
" Then you should have presented and not think of telling her we didn't finish."
" C'mon Rashell, are we gonna be like this because of what happened yesterday?"
" I never said that."
" You're.."
" I'm what?"
" Stop acting like this."
" Your chick is approaching. See you after break."
Beverlyn approaches Tyron with a smile and hug but he redraws and stops her from going further.
" Not in the mood."
He says and walks away.
At the cafeteria, it is announced that there will be camping. Rashell and her friends rush to the notice board for more information about the camping but she isn't really happy.
She thinks about the thing that happened between she and Tyron at hiking and hopes nothing happens this time around.
Back in class, Rashell walks in to find Tyron and Beverlyn kissing. She announces her presence to stop them so she can sit on her chair. They release their lips and giggle looking at Rashell.
" You're in the way."
"You should give yourself to a smart guy and not a flirt like Tyron."
Beverlyn looks at Rashell and hits her with her shoulders. She giggles and moves to sit.
" You shouldn't be allowing your chicks on my seat."
" You're jealous, aren't you? Wanna try kissing again?"
" Never." She says with a smirk.
" C'mon you're pouting your lips in a very attractive way. Are you trying to ... Or you want a kiss now which?" Giggles.
" Whatever."
The teacher walks in and class continues. After school, everyone hurries home to get ready for camping.
