All of the Teen Titans and Perci were in the training room of the giant T shaped tower. Perci and Robin were sparing against each other. Both of them giving each other their alls with their physical combat abilities. They'd both agreed to not use weapons or powers beforehand as to not destroy the room around them.
The teens sent multiple kicks, jabs, and punches towards each other. Their faces both held competitive smiles while their minds were secretly enjoying the time they were spending together.
Starfire flew around the room while small robots flew after her shooting red lasers. The alien princess even shot her own glowing green star beams at the robots managing to strike two of them. The robots replaced themselves as they continued to chase after her.
Raven was meditating and holding three large columns with her magic. The teen in the blue cloak said her magic words sending the columns up towards the ceiling. Starfire flew over them and the columns managed to smash the robots to pieces.
Beast Boy was a large tortoise on a treadmill. As the speed increased, Beast Boy changed his animal forms to match the speed. He went from the tortoise to a goat to a cheetah.
Robin and Perci were still sparing. Robin did a quick sneak attack as he caught Perci's left wrist. He placed his free hand on her waist as he pushed her up into the air in an attempt to throw her over his shoulder. Bright red and pink roses flushed Perci's cheek at the hero's hand placement before she quickly realized what his intentions were.
The teen quickly repositioned herself making sure to grab Robin's wrist that was around hers. As she flipped over, she landed on her feet making sure to pull Robin's arm with her behind his back. Using her free hand she grabbed the back of Robin's neck and forced him to bend forward. A large smirk plastered itself on Perci's face.
"Looks like I win, Wonder-wah!!" Perci yelled as she was suddenly flipped back over Robin's shoulder. Robin had used his free hand and all of his strength to flip her once more. Her back hit the mat underneath her hard. Robin used Perci's surprised state to his advantage.
Robin's right hand pinned Perci's left down onto the mat and his left leg pinned down her other wrist. Both of her hands were pinned above her head as she stared up at Robin who was hovering over her. A cocky smirk was plastered on his features as he put his right arm over his knee and tilted his head to the side teasingly.
"What was that you were saying, Perci?" Robin asked as he seemed to lean even closer down towards Perci. The smirk on his lips and the stare he was giving her immediately made bright pink and red roses reappear on her cheeks. The position they were both in definitely not helping her situation by any means. Robin's smirk slowly turned to a smile as he thought about how adorable Perci looked in that moment. It had been a long time since he'd seen her vulnerable like that. The only thing Perci was able to muster up was a soft but annoyed shut up as she avoided his sharp gaze.
With a soft laugh, Robin removed himself off of Perci and held a hand out for her. Perci's flowers started to slowly retract back into her body as she took his hand. As Robin pulled her up off the ground, they both were attracted to the sounds of metal moving and hitting against one another.
Cyborg was using a machine to improve his strength, and more and more weight was being added on top of it. The teen was sweating bullets as he glanced at the screen on his wrist that had a large 96% displayed on the screen.
"Just a...little more!" Cyborg told himself as he continued to push the large amount of weight up. Perci and Robin immediately made their way over to their friend to cheer him on.
"Come on, Cyborg, push!" Robin encouraged. "Cyborg! Cyborg! Cyborg!" Perci chanted as she saw him push the machine up slightly. "What's it-ah! Look like I'm doing?!" Cyborg yelled to Robin.
"Punch it, Cy! Straight through the roof!" Beast Boy yelled as the rest of the titans joined them. "Yes! Inform that large mass of metal who is the boss!" Starfire said with a large encouraging smile. "Uhhh...go, Cyborg?" Raven added after Starfire gave her an expecting glance.
The group of teens continued to cheer their friend on as the percentage showing on Cyborg's arm continued to go up before hitting 100%.
"It's no good! Shut it down!" Cyborg yelled as he hit his max strength. Perci was about to do as he said when Robin held a hand in front of her to stop her.
"No way, Cyborg! I won't let you quit! Come on! Push!" Robin yelled with a determined smile. "I can't!" Cyborg yelled as the weight started to slowly come down. "Yes you can!" Robin yelled back. "No, I can't!" Cyborg yelled even louder.
Perci pushed past Robin. An array of vines, roots, and branches quickly left the vents in the room and Perci's body as they wrapped around the large machine and around Cyborg's waist. The metal man jumped out of the way of the machine and Perci's vines gave him an extra push just in case he misjudged the distance. Cyborg landed face first on the ground while Perci's plants gently placed the machine back on the ground.
Robin offered a hand to Cyborg while Beast Boy held up a white card. "I give you a 9 for the dive, but a 2 for the landing." Beast said as he showed both number cards making Robin shoot his friend a "you're not helping" look. Perci couldn't help but smile as it's the first time she saw someone else receive that look.
Cyborg rejected Robin's hand as he got off the ground. "Nobody asked you." He said as he brushed past both boys. Perci moved next to Robin as they all watch Cyborg leave the training room.
Perci placed her arm on Robin's shoulder as she tsked at the metal man's retreating form. "Who pissed in his cereal?" She asked leaning against Robin. "I'll go talk to him." Robin said as he followed after his friend.
Not long had passed when the group of friends stood in the living room of the tower as they all watched Cyborg angrily play a video game on the couch.
"Woah...and I thought Raven looked grumpy." Beast boy said making a small blush appear on Raven's face while Perci let out a soft giggle. "Our friend is more dismal than the swamp moons of Mulwark. Measures must be taken." Starfire said as she approached Cyborg.
A thought crossed Perci's mind as she leaned to whisper in Robin's ear. A faint blush covered Robin's cheeks as he felt her breath on his ear. "Why does it remind me of when Batman would get scolded by Alfred?" Perci pulled away with a muffled laugh as she covered her mouth while Robin tilted his head to the side before smiling himself. "He kind of does though."
"To replenish your heart with warmers and cheer, I offer a traditional Tamaranean folk song!" Starfire said before taking a deep breath. "This should be good." Perci said with a smile. Just then, Starfire let out a loud off pitch shriek right in Cyborg's ear.
"AH! Starfire, cut it out!" Cyborg yelled at her. Soft tears pricked the alien's eyes as she slowly backed away. Beast boy decided it was his turn as he stood in front of the tv making a vein appear on Cyborg's forehead.
"Okay, dude, keep your eye on the cookie!" Beast boy said as he showed Cyborg a chocolate chip cookie. Beast boy went on to do a complicated circus act that had the cookie land in his mouth. Cyborg wasn't amused at all as he grabbed Beast Boy's head and threw him back to the gang.
"You're supposed to laugh!" Beast boy yelled from the floor. "What do I have to do? Make it fly out of my-" "Let me try." Raven said as she pushed the others to the side.
Raven appeared next to the couch about to speak when Cyborg interrupted her. "I don't wanna talk about it." He said as she moved back to the rest of the group. "I tried." Was all Raven said as she rejoined the group. The group then all looked at Perci expectedly.
"What?" She asked while the others nodded over to Cyborg. With a hard sigh and a face palm she agreed to at least try something. Perci stood behind the couch with her arms crossed over the back of it as she stared at the large tv screen in front of her.
"Are we gonna eat our feelings or-" "Perci I swear to god if you say one more thing to me." Cyborg said as he glared at the screen in front of him. Perci sent a pair of finger guns to her metal friend as she slowly backed away.
"Tamaranean folk songs are even more cheerful when accompanied by the Gorka pipes!" Starfire said with a bright smile while holding a large pink and gold instrument. "Uh, Starfire, maybe he just needs some time alone. Come on guys." Robin said as he led the group out of the room.
A couple minutes later, the remaining titans and Perci entered the room once more to see a large hole in the window. The teens looked out the window to see Cyborg fighting someone on the water.
"Cyborg?" Robin called out. "Looks like he went out for some air." Beast Boy said and Perci rolled her eyes. "Definitely looks like he went to blow off some steam." Perci said while she watched Cyborg fight someone covered in gold and red. "Titans, go!" Robin yelled and the titans quickly jumped out the window to help their friend.
Perci let out a defeated sigh as she watched her friends heading towards the ground. A vine crept up the tower before a large leaf appeared in front of her. The girl stepped onto it with her arms crossed over her chest as she was slowly lowered to the ground.
The Titans hit the ground running and were about to join the fight when a man in various shades of blue and a bandage on their cheek blocked the way. "Sorry, folks. Can't let you interrupt the master." The man said to the group. "This match is one on-" Before he could finish his sentence, Robin had already grabbed him by his shirt and thrown him to the side.
Perci strolled down towards where the titans were, not really interested in fighting herself. She managed to stop a couple feet away from the Titans but right next to the man that Robin had thrown out of his way. She focused on the golden man fighting and raised a brow before glancing over towards the man in blue.
"What's up with that guy? He looks like he was dipped in gold." Perci asked with a bored and unknowingly insulting tone making the man gasp. "You don't know who he is?!" The man asked as he hovered over the ground. "Should I?" Perci asked genuinely confused.
Her focus was broken as she saw Cyborg being thrown over Titans Tower. "Oh shit." Was all Perci said as she watched Cyborgs long decent towards the ground. "My master, Atlas, is the strongest thing alive!" The man boasted. Perci glanced between Atlas and the Titans. "This is going to be fun." Perci said as her lips curled up into a slight smirk.
Perci watched as the group fought with immense strength and strategy as she couldn't help but hold an almost proud smile. She watched as Beast Boy turned into a whale and fell onto Atlas. "Woo! Go Beasty!" Perci cheered only for Beast Boy to be lifted up into the air and thrown back towards the other titans. Beast Boy turned back into his normal form and Robin easily caught him.
Perci moved a bit closer to the group to get involved in some of the action. "Nice of you to finally join us." Beast Boy said to Perci and she shrugged her shoulders with a smirk. "I thought you guys could handle it on your own...guess I was wrong." Perci said.
"Humans provide no challenge." Atlas said before shooting at the group. The group quickly split up to avoid the attack. Raven and Starfire took to the sky, Robin and Beast Boy jumped to the side, and Perci went underground. Perci appeared from the ground a couple feet behind Robin. Her eyes never leaving Atlas as she studied him.
"Mechanic, refit!" Atlas yelled. The man in blue suddenly smiled as he flew over to his master. The mechanic quickly switched out the attachments on Atlas' arms. "Looking sharp out there, Atlas. Keep up the good-" The man said only to be cut off by Atlas springing into action.
Atlas landed a few feet away from the hero's before firing at the group. The first member to be hit by the yellow beam was Robin. Perci tried to dodge the yellow beam, but it was too late. She was captured in a hard yellow sphere. Perci quickly glanced around to see all of her friends captured in the same yellow balls.
"No challenge at all." Was all Atlas said as he stared down at the captured teenagers. Each member of the titans were using their own powers and attacks to try and break the yellow spheres.
Robin paused his actions as he noticed who'd joined them. "Perci!" Robin yelled in worry as he stared at her. Large thorns covered her knuckles as she punched the sphere. When that didn't work, Robin noticed the thorns starting to peak in and out of her skin. Plants wrapped around her leg before becoming a giant thorn. She kicked the sphere in multiple places before becoming increasingly annoyed.
Perci glanced around herself again before throwing her hands towards the ground. She used the momentum to swing her thorn covered leg around making sure it was in contact with the walls of the sphere. The sharpness of the thorn caused an ear piercing sound as it scraped against the hard surface of the dome causing the titans to flinch at the sound. Once Perci had made a clean circle, she inspected the dome to see if anything had changed.
Robin watched Perci take a deep breath before the thorns inside her body all shot out at once with as much force Perci could deliver. The thorns had gone back into her body significantly slower than how they'd come out. Once fully back inside Perci's body, she inspected her surroundings once more. Unfortunately, there wasn't even a single scratch on the sphere.
"You will make amusing trophies." Atlas said before being attacked from behind. The group looked behind Atlas to see Cyborg.
"Cyborg! Cyborg! Cyborg!" Perci chanted with a wide smile on her cheeks. Robin couldn't help but glance at her with a similar smile.
"Let them go!" Cyborg said as he held his arm out ready to fire again. With a swift turn, Atlas fired directly at Cyborgs arm destroying the weapon.
"Hold. Atlas will defeat you, but later, in a fair fight. No weapons, no friends." Atlas said as he held his weapon towards Cyborg. "No! We finish this now!" He yelled to his opponent.
"As you wish." Atlas said before aiming his weapon at Perci. The teenager immediately glared at the man. "Seriously dude?! You know what, bring it you over sized rust bucket!" Perci yelled as thorns started to poke through her skin.
"Don't even think about it, Perc." Robin's voice came out stern as he gave her a look. Perci huffed in annoyance before crossing her arms over her chest. "Cyborg-" Robin said turning his attention back to his friend. "We'll be alright. Get your strength back, then get Atlas." Robin said and Cyborg gave him a slight nod.
"The old stadium, sunset. Come if you dare, and I will let you have your friends back." Atlas said before all of them vanished with a whirl of electricity.
