I saw everyone sitting near the fountain. Randy and Sam sitting on the floor. Tatum sitting on Stu's lap and Sidney leaning against Billy.
I took a seat next to Sam on the floor.
''Why did they ask you if you liked to hunt?'' Tatum asked.
Looks like they all were already in a conversation.
''Sam,I guess it's murder season'' I whispered in her ear,she laughed a bit.
''I don't know why they asked.I said I like to hunt animals not humans'' Stu replied.
''Oh, in the questioning?'' I asked.
''Yea,they were asking stupid questions,our turns are already done,what about you Hargrove?'' Stu asked leaning down to face me.
''Already done,preparing for another one,Ethan'' i replied looking towards Billy.He simply smiled and mouthed 'no'.
''Oh yea,he got murdered too,they say it was done last night'' Randy spoke up sitting straight like he found it interesting.
''Maybe the reason they were asking if you liked to hunt was because they were slaughtered'' Billy said trying to close Ethan's topic.
Wait a damn minute. They?
''What do you mean 'they'?'' I asked.
''Casey and her boyfriend Steve,both were butchered last night'' Tatum replied popping some grapes in her mouth.
''I guess everyone hated Steve,they didn't even care to ask about him'' Stu giggled.
Billy chuckled too. Did they find this funny? Ironic, me and Sam also found this funny so I shouldn't say anything.
''By butchered we mean full movie type killed'' Randy said with amusement.
Damn.Someone is getting creative.
''They think a man did it,when it could have been a female killer too'' Tatum rolled her eyes.
I noticed Sidney,she was quiet, maybe she wasn't interested in gossiping about murders.
''Nah, it had to be a man'' Randy shrugged.
Randy was wrong here.
''Why? If wanted and with a motive, a female can butcher someone too,just like a male,maybe worse'' I stated my point.
''She is right,female can be potential serial killers too'' Sam added,teaming up with me.
''woah ladies,I think we offended you. If with a motive,would you kill someone Y/N?'' Stu asked.
'' Oh, absolutely, Stu. My list of enemies is longer than the Great Wall of China.'' I smirked.
'' Well, as long as I am not on that list, we are good, right?'' Stu asked playfully.
''What sort of question is that? Are we playing some twisted version of truth or dare now?'' Billy asked from the other side.
'' Hey, just trying to lighten the mood. You are the one who's been serious lately'' Stu replied.
'' Right, because discussing murder is always a laugh riot.'' Billy answered sarcastically.
OF course I could, a motive is just what I need to gut someone.
''No offence taken Stu,but yes I would, Anything for revenge.'' I smiled.
Stu's face looked shocked and he was smiling wide and on the other hand I could feel Billy's eyes on me.
Suddenly Sidney spoke up with the weirdest question.
''How do you gut someone?'' She asked.
Everyone's head turned towards her and everyone's face was screaming 'Girl What the Actual Fuck?'
Billy's expression shifted from amusement to curiosity, with a hint of suspicion, as if wondering why Sidney suddenly brought up such a topic.
Stu's face lights up with a mischievous grin, eager to jump into the conversation with his usual sarcastic wit.
Randy looks intrigued, leaning in slightly as if he's genuinely interested in the question and eager to hear the responses.
Sam had a mixture of confusion and amusement, as if she was trying to understand why Sidney asked that question but finding it somewhat amusing.
Tatum raised an eyebrow, looking slightly skeptical but also intrigued, as if she was not sure of what to make of Sidney's question.
'' You know, you just ask politely. 'Excuse me, would you mind being my victim for tonight's murder spree?' Works like a charm really.'' I sneered.
'' I have your answer Sidney'' Stu replied like a happy child.
I saw Billy straighten up with a look of ' What shit is he going to pull up now ?'.
Everyone turned their attention towards Stu the smarty.
He coughed and started.
''You take a knife'' Pretending to hold a knife in his hand.
''AND YOU SLIT 'EM FROM GROIN TO STERNUM'' He laughed placing a hand in front of his mouth like a small girl.
'' Thanks for the anatomy lesson, Stu. You sure didn't skip science classes.'' I remarked.
''Sure he didn't but it's called a tact you fuck-rag'' Billy said turning his face towards Stu.

'' Stu's got a way with words. Who knew the anatomy of a murder weapon could be so poetic?'' Randy laughed.
''Hey Stu didn't you like date Casey Becker?'' Sidney asked.

Everyone once again turned their head towards Stu. He looked nervous.
''Yea for like two seconds'' He said nervously and rolled his eyes.
''You think he did it?'' Sam whispered.
''I don't think he can kill someone,he is too goofy.'' I whispered back.
She nodded.
I seriously don't think it's Stu. He's not the type of guy to kill someone. What my instinct is shouting is that it's that costumed guy. I had a bad feeling about the guy when I first saw him ,still do.
''That was before Casey dumped him for Steve'' Randy laughed,and ooh thats tea.
''What!?I thought you left her for me?'' Tatum replied somewhat offended.
''I did!Meeks full of shit'' Stu defended himself or atleast tried.
Tatum shrugged and continued popping grapes in her mouth.
''What if....''
''I didn't kill her'' Stu shouted.
That's some foul behaviour right there.
''Nobody said you did'' Billy rolled his eyes.
''But thats what this smartass is trying to say'' Stu protested.
''Alright,where were you last nigh,huh?'' Randy asked completely showing that he is just trying to annoy him.
''He was with me,you sick fuck'' Tatum fake smiled.
''Uh-Huh,was that before he sliced and diced Casey and Steve or after?'' Randy questioned again testing Stu's patience.
Not gonna lie,I am loving this.
I giggled.
Suddenly I felt shivers down my spine and someone's hot breath on my neck,it was Billy.
''Are you finding this funny?'' He whispered.
Was he being serious ? What if I say yes?
I nodded.
''Murders are fun'' He again whispered.
I don't know in what way to take that statement.
I shifted my attention towards Randy and Stu.
''What's your problem man? Where the fuck were you?'' Stu asked standing up.
''Working my night shift'' Randy smiled cheekly.
'I thought you got fired'' Stu asked with confusion.
''Twice,thanks'' Randy smiled.
''They couldn't find a good employee like me,huh'' Randy said patting his own shoulder.
''ATTENTION STUDENT'S,CLASSES ARE DISMISSED FOR TODAY'' The announcement speaker gave us the 2nd announcement that day.
What about Ethan?
'' Clearly boy's lives are just expandable, right? Who cares if Ethan or Steve died. It's not like he mattered or something.'' I sighed.
Everyone turned their attention towards me ,like I said something sinful.
'' Because clearly, the police have this grand conspiracy against boys. They are probably just too busy dealing with all the jaywalking cases, right?'' Stu chimed in.
''You ok? You have been acting weird since the camping trip'' Randy asked looking straight into my eyes.
I couldn't lie to him,although I just met him like 4 days ago, but he was good, and I liked him as a friend. Lying to him felt wrong but Billy asked not to tell, even though I have a doubt that he told Stu, they are best friends. Like I told Sam. But I don't know what difference it will make even if I tell anyone else. Or maybe Billy doesn't want anyone to question his perfect image. Nor did I want anyone to question me,too risky for now.
A voice snapped me back to reality out of my world of thoughts.
'' You get lost alot Hargrove'' Stu smirked.
''Will you shut up for a moment?'' Billy nudged him and came towards me.
''Everything ok?'' He asked looking deeply into my eyes.
And there was the feeling again, feeling of getting intimidated. And some other fucked up feelings too which I knew had to push away from me soon.
''Yes, guys I am ok, just feeling a bit de hydrated.'' I quickly came up with a lame excuse.
Billy gestured to Sidney,and Sidney quickly handed me the water of bottle.
''There's a whole fountain Y/N,drink as much you want'' Stu laughed and came to hug me.
My eyes widened. I didn't know what to do so I just awkwardly hugged him back. He was a good hugger surprisingly.
''Can't let anything happen to our little Y/N'' Stu whispered while hugging me and broke the embrace leaving me confused.

''That was awkward,weird,funny,cute and hot at the same time'' Sam said while laughing.
There we go, I don't want to talk about that moment. What I don't understand is this why are Billy and Stu so attentive towards me? The type of personality I have I don't think any boy would be that attentive towards me.
''Don't try to dodge the topic Y/N, It was cute, both of them acting like that towards you'' She smirked.
''And you are forgetting the fact that they both are taken'' I replied,eyes still focused on the road.
'' Never miss an oppurtunity Y/N,that's what I am saying'' She smiled and then again laughed.
This had to be stopped, we can't talk about boys when we have so much work to do. It was time to get back to business.
''Sam,tonight we are going to break into Woodsboro's local papers office'' I said trying to close the topic of the two boys.
''For what?'' She asked,listening carefully to me.
'' To dig up some dirt. Archives, we will work hidden, they won't let us check the archives''.
''How do you know?'' She asked.
''I called them from a cloned cell, asked them anonymously if someone could check the archives,straight no from their side'' I rolled my eyes,feeling irritated by remembering how rude the receptionist was to me on the call when I asked her about this.
''Time to break in then, good old times'' She said while nodding her head.
'' We gotta be careful, no sloppy work like last time Sam'' I said while turning my head towards her.
Last time, in Windsor, we tried breaking into their local newspaper office, turns out they had two security guards,who saw Sam running around. We had to run away from there before getting caught. It was indeed a sloppy work. I asked Sam to be quiet but she fucked it up,we could have gotten into the office. Woodsboro is my last hope,last hope and chance for me to finally rest.
