Alex's POV:
After I unpacked all my clothes and showered I got ready to go meet up with Rae
As soon as I got out of the elevator I was almost knocked to the ground with a hug tight enough to make my bones pop.
"Rae!" I say laughing as I hug her back just as tight. I still don't believe that it been two years since we've seen each other.Yes we call and FaceTime every day but it's not the same you know?
"Alright ladies,that's enough" A voice says from behind my best friend and I look up to see a man.He had sleek black hair with a kind but handsome face.He was tall,around 5'9 and well built."No let me love my cupcake you pansy bitch" Rae said and I groaned.She's been calling me cupcake since we became friends in grade one." I told you to stop calling me that Rae" I whine."And I told you that's not gonna happen,so get over it cupcake" she said while tapping my cheek.
"Anyway,Alex,this is my boytoy Ming and Ming this is my wife Alex." Rae said with no shame whatsoever.That's Rae for you people.After we got the introductions out of the way Ming asked where we are going to hang out.
"We saw a bubble tea shop down the road on our way here,we could go there?" We all agreed and started to make our way to the shop.
"그럼 뭘 주문할 거야 자기야?"(So what are you gonna order babe?) Rae say and I stare at her in shock.She looks over at me."What" she asks when I still stare at her in disbelief."You speak Korean?!" "Alex.I've been living in Korea for 2 years,have a Korean boyfriend,a Korean boss and go to a Korean university.What would make you think that learning Korean wasn't the first thing on my to do list?"She says while still giving me a stern look.
"Ok,ok makes sense"I say defensively.As we arrive at the shop we go to the counter and I tell Rae my order to give it to the lady behind the counter.She gets a watermelon boba while Ming and I get a strawberry.We get our drinks and sit down at a table and we start to catch up.
While we're talking Ming excuses himself say that he invited his friend that he hasn't seen in a while to hang out with us and he was here.So he left to go get him.
When Ming returns with his friend and I look up I am shocked to my core
"So guys this is my friend-"
"Kai?"
