-Everyone is in the dorms now-

Amaya sprawled her body over the surface of her comforter, groaning as she buried her face into the soft fabric. The weight of the day's stress pressed down on her, making it difficult to find any relief. Hence why she was lying in bed awake at 2 A.M in the morning, unable to sleep. Thoughts raced through her mind, replaying every interaction and decision she had made throughout the day. The constant mental chatter only added to her frustration, leaving her longing for a moment of tranquility that seemed elusive. The solution? There wasn't one, but she thought of something that could make her feel a bit better, and that was bothering Bakugou of course. If she couldn't sleep than she might as well bother the blondie. With a mischievous grin, she reached for her phone and sent Bakugou a playful text, knowing it would irk him.

Jetpack:

"Hey pop rocks, what's shakin?"

                                                                                                                                                                    Sexy Blonde:

                                                                                                                                                                    "Go to sleep"

Jetpack:

"Nope. You're going to suffer with me Blondie"

                                                                                                                                                                    Sexy Blonde:

"I hate you with every fiber of my being"

Jetpack:

"That might be the nicest thing you've ever said to me. Almost brings a tear to my eye"

Sexy Blonde: "Oh, hold on, let me grab my magnifying glass. I need to search for the sincerity in that statement. It's gotta be here somewhere. "

Jetpack:

"Sincerity? Please, you'll need more than a magnifying glass for that. Maybe a telescope would help you spot it in the vast galaxy of my genuine emotions."

Bakugou snickered at his screen, firing off a sarcastic text to his friend, mocking their latest attempt at humor and leaving them wondering if he ever learned to communicate without an explosion of attitude.

                                                                                                                                                                      Sexy Blonde:

"Tch, sorry sweetheart, but sincerity is light years away from your galaxy. Keep searching, Jetpack."

~Jetpack read your message at 3:13~

                                                                                                                                                                      Sexy Blonde:

"DON'T YOU DARE LEAVE ME ON READ JETPACK"

~Jetpack read your message at 3:16~

Bakugou grimaced at his screen in hopes that if he glared hard enough she would be able to feel it through the screen. "Seriously? I take the time to send a message, and I get left on read? Unbelievable. I don't have time for this nonsense. If they think they can just ignore my messages, they've got another thing coming. I've got better things to do than wait around for someone to decide if they want to reply or not. Whatever, their loss." He concluded, but he secretly felt a pang of disappointment and frustration. He couldn't help but wonder if he had said something wrong or if she was simply too busy to respond. Just as he was about to throw his phone across the room a he heard a not so subtle DING DING DINGDINGDINGDING.

"what the crap?" he mumbled, as he looked to see 67 missed notifications on his messaging app. He opened it a little too quickly, hoping to see messages from Amaya but instead, "SHE ADDED ME TO A WHOLE ASS GROUP CHAT?!" He exclaimed in disbelief. The excitement of finally receiving a response quickly turned into annoyance as he realized that Amaya had not reached out to him personally, but had included him in a group chat instead. He couldn't help but feel a mix of frustration and confusion about why she would choose to do that instead of having a one-on-one conversation.

                                                              ﹥ˏˋ♡̩͙♡̩̩̥͙♡̩̥̩Chaos Crew♡̩̥̩♡̩̩̥͙♡̩͙ˊˎ﹤

Jetpack: "Welcome all to the 'Chaos Crew'! I thought we could all chat here, but more importantly.. WE HAVE A WEEK OFF STARTING TMRW AND WE NEED TO DO SOMETHING"

Alien Queen: "OMGGG!! We should totally do something! Aizawa has been working us half to death for crying out loud!"

Crappy hair: "We could go out and eat something? Idk, I'm just hungry"

Poor mans spider man: "Weak bro, let's do something more exciting like going on a road trip or trying out a new adventure sport. We need to make the most of our time off!"

Sparkplug: "I'm liking the roadtrip idea, you guys! I know this really nice campsite a few hours south of here.. How about camping?"

Alien Queen: "With all the bugs and wild animals?! No way Kaminari!"

Jetpack: "Aw come on Mina! It'll it be fine, but I do need to pick up a sleeping bag and a new pair of hiking boots first. Mall day first??"

Sparkplug: "Good with me. As long as we get some swimsuits, there will be hot springs at the campsite." (Kaminari WAS in fact just wanting to see the girls in strappy bikinis..)

Poor mans spider man: "Yeah, I'm down for camping too. We can also bring some marshmallows and have a bonfire at night!"

Crappy hair: "Great idea! How bout it Bakubro?"

                                                                                                                                                                      Sexy Blonde:

                                                                                                                                                               "No way in heck"

Alien Queen: "Come on Bakugou! It's going to be so much fun!! Even with the bugs.."

                                                                                                                                                                      Sexy Blonde:

                                                                                                                                                                                        "No"

Sparkplug: "Come on dude!! You're not being a pogger rn" (You cannot convince me that Kaminari wouldn't say poggers)

                                                                                                                                                                     Sexy Blonde:

                                                                                                                                                                          "I SAID NO"

Jetpack: "Lighten up pop rocks. It's not like you have anything better to do. Besides, someone needs to cook for us"

                                                                                                                                                                    Sexy Blonde:

"Fine. BUT I'M NOT YOUR PERSONAL CHEF"

Crappy hair: "Woohoo! This'll be the best camping trip in the history of camping trips!"

Jetpack: "Told you guys that Blasty would cave."

                                                                                                                                                                    Sexy Blonde:

                                                                                                                                  "WHAT'D YOU SAY AIRHEAD?!"

Poor mans spider man: "Ok so.. Who's driving?"

silence

Jetpack: "I nominate Kirishima"

Crappy hair: "Why me?"

Jetpack: "Sorry dude, fate has decided."

Alien Queen: "alr, with that decided. Mall at noon?"

Sparkplug: "I'll be there!"

Poor mans spider man: "Sayonara~"

Jetpack: "See you then."

Crappy hair: "For sure!"

                                                                                                                                                               Sexy Blonde:

                                                                                                                                                                   "Whatever"

Bakugou clicked off his phone looking at the clock that read 7:42 A.M. "How do I get dragged into these things? They're all so pointless," he muttered to himself. He couldn't understand why his friends always managed to involve him in their ridiculous schemes. With a frustrated sigh, Bakugou reluctantly decided to go along with it, knowing that resisting would only lead to more trouble.

~Amaya's POV brought to you by Izuku's figurine collection~

Once everyone had confirmed their attendance she closed at the groupchat and started scrolling until she found the desired number. She hit "Videocall" and sat up in bed waiting anxiously for her long time friend, Colette to pick up. "Pick up, pick up, pick up!" Amaya's heart raced as the call connected, her anticipation growing with each passing second. Finally, Colette's face appeared on the screen, a wide grin spreading across her features. "Hey Amaya, what's up?" she greeted, oblivious to the nerves that had been consuming her friend. "MALL OUTFIT, NOW" She screeched, getting her face so close to the phone that her nose booped the screen. "You called me at 8 o'clock... for outfit help..?" Amaya's excitement was palpable as she eagerly awaited Colette's response. She quickly explained, "Yes, I know it's early, but I just got invited to a last-minute event and I need your fashion expertise!" Colette sighed, rubbing the sleep out of her eyes. "Alright, alright, calm down," Colette said with a chuckle. "I'll help you out, but you owe me big time for waking me up this early." She sat up in bed, ready to assist Amaya with her fashion emergency. "YES! THANK YOU, THANK YOU!" Amaya chimed, grinning like a Cheshire cat.

After 3 hours of heated debate they settled on this:

Amaya fiddled with her collar nervously, and tugged on the sleeves of her jacket. Colette observed Amaya's nervous gestures and reassured her, "Don't worry, you look amazing! Just remember to stand tall and own your outfit. Confidence is key." Amaya sighed, picking up her phone, "I know, it's just.. It's my first outing with my new friends and.." Colette shrugged and replied, "I understand how you feel, but trust me, they'll love your style. And if they don't, drop their asses." Amaya nodded, feeling a bit more at ease as she typed out a text message to her friends, letting them know she would be waiting in the lounge. "You're a lifesaver Colette, thank you for always being there for me." Colette smiled and replied, "Of course, that's what friends are for. Now go out there and rock it!" Amaya nodded with a grateful smile and ended the call. She slung her wallet, keys, hairbrush, and phone in her backpack and threw it over her shoulder, ready to face the day.

She sank into the plush lounge couch, retrieving her phone and checking the time. "11:30... I'll need to wait a bit until everyone's ready," she thought. Opting to pass the time, she aimlessly scrolled through her social media feeds. As she swiped through pictures and posts, her anticipation for the upcoming day intensified. Moments later, Mina and Denki strolled in, followed closely by Kirishima, Sero, and Bakugou. "Let's get moving already. We're wasting time," Bakugou grumbled impatiently. The group gathered their belongings and exited the door, prepared to embark on the first of many outings. The mall was just a 15-minute walk from the UA campus, so the group decided to hoof it. (This is a different mall from the one in season two. Sorry conspirators ;P)

They entered the mall and were immediately greeted by a lively atmosphere and vibrant displays. The group's eyes widened in awe as they absorbed the bustling mall's sights and sounds, adding to their excitement for the day ahead. Amaya turned to the group, "Okay, so I was thinking we could start with-" "SWIMSUITS!" Denki promptly interrupted her, bouncing up and down. "Get it together, bro," Sero muttered, punching him on the upper arm. "Yeah, Sparkplug, you need to calm your hyper-active squirrel brain," Bakugou commented, shoving his hands even deeper into his pockets. Amaya rolled her eyes at Denki's enthusiasm but couldn't help but smile. "Alright, swimsuits it is," she said, attempting to hide her own excitement. As they navigated the bustling mall, the group couldn't help but notice the diverse array of stores and options. They eagerly made their way towards the swimwear section. Mina and Amaya broke off from the boys, heading to the bikini section, while the boys explored the swim shorts.

~Bakugou's POV brought to you by Aizawa's eyebags~

"This is gonna be a disaster," Bakugou muttered under his breath, observing the girls disappear into the sea of colorful bikinis. He couldn't fathom why they were making such a fuss over choosing swimwear. Nevertheless, he begrudgingly trailed Kirishima and Denki toward the swim shorts section, hoping to find something decent amidst the overwhelming options. Opting for a pair of plain black swim shorts, he didn't bother trying them on. Shortly after the girls vanished from sight, he heard Kaminari's sinister laugh and turned to see him holding up neon green swim shorts with a mischievous grin. "Hey Bakugou, I think these would look great on you!" Kaminari teased, causing Bakugou's eye to twitch in annoyance. He quickly snatched the black swim shorts from the rack and retorted, "I'd rather wear nothing at all than be caught dead in those eyesores!" "Ok, ok, geez," Denki shrugged dismissively. "We should go check on the girls," Kiri mentioned, heading towards the changing rooms. Kaminari eagerly followed Kirishima, anticipating a glimpse of the girls in their new swimsuits. As they approached the changing rooms, Bakugou's irritation intensified. He couldn't shake the feeling that something was off about Kaminari's behavior. Deep down, a nagging suspicion told him this was more than just "checking on the girls."

Just before they entered, the sound of the girls talking in the changing rooms became more audible. "I don't know, Mina... This suit is a little skimpy," Amaya whispered uncertainly. "Oh, come on, Amaya! We won't be on the school campus, so there won't be a dress code!" Mina reasoned. "Besides, don't you want to show off your body a little?" "I guess there wouldn't be any harm in it," Amaya agreed. The group of boys stopped just outside the doorway, restraining Kaminari. "You guys okay in there?" Sero asked, grunting as Kaminari stomped on his foot in an attempt to break free. "Yep! But we need your opinion on these suits!" Mina called from behind the door. "Mina, no!" Amaya pleaded, but it was already too late. Mina swung the door open, revealing themselves to the group of boys. The boys' jaws dropped, too stunned to speak. Amaya stood there, feeling a mix of embarrassment and amusement at the boys' reaction. She couldn't help but chuckle as she saw their wide-eyed expressions. "Well, what do you think?" Mina asked, striking a pose in her brightly colored suit. "...perfect," Kaminari finally chimed in, wiping the drool from his mouth.

Amaya's swimsuit:

Bakugou found himself utterly flustered, unsure of how to react. His face burned, and he hastily averted his eyes, desperately trying to cool his reddened cheeks. The irony wasn't lost on him – his parents were entrenched in the fashion industry, and he'd seen plenty of models in swimsuits without a second thought. Yet, in this moment, facing Amaya... No, that couldn't be it. He brushed it off, blaming the apparent warmth of the dressing room. Yeah, that was it—or at least that's what he tried convincing himself.

A voice jolted him from his thoughts, and he resisted turning to face the inquirer. "Well, what do you think, Bakugou?" Amaya's voice rang with curiosity and a hint of amusement. His face grew even hotter as he fumbled for the right words. Clearing his throat, he managed to stammer out a half-hearted compliment, hoping it would suffice. "You don't look completely ridiculous... I guess," he muttered, making a hasty exit before she could respond. The idea of her witnessing his flushed face any longer was unbearable. As he retreated, he cursed himself for being so awkward and tongue-tied around her, lamenting his inability to articulate his thoughts more eloquently.

Shortly after, the girls emerged fully dressed, a kaleidoscope of colors and styles converging into a lively display. They gracefully settled their bills for the selected swimsuits before venturing into the outdoor supplies store. The air buzzed with anticipation as they stocked up on essentials – sleeping bags, tents, lanterns, lighters, and more. With transactions swift and bags in tow, they set a course for the food court.

"I'm starvingggg!" Kaminari melodramatically whined, throwing his head back in mock despair. Bakugou sneered in response, an audible "tch" escaping his lips, yet he begrudgingly trailed behind the group, his irritation evident but subdued.

~Amaya's POV brought to you by Shinsou's cat obsession~

Feeling the urgent need to use the bathroom, Amaya decided to break off from her lively group of friends who were eagerly heading towards the food court. As she weaved through the bustling mall, an uneasy sensation prickled at the back of her neck, a whisper of intuition warning her of something amiss. Amaya quickened her pace, trying to shake off the feeling of unease. She couldn't help but wonder if she was being paranoid or if there was a genuine threat lurking in the mall. The corridor leading to the restroom felt eerily quiet, and a chill ran down her spine. She hesitated for a moment, contemplating whether to turn back and find her friends or continue on her mission to find the restroom. Despite her growing unease, Amaya reminded herself that she had been in this mall countless times before without incident. Just as she entered the dimly lit hallway, two shadowy figures emerged from the shadows, blocking her path. Amaya's heart raced as she locked eyes with the figures, their menacing presence confirming her worst fears. She quickly assessed her surroundings, searching for an escape route or someone who could help. Panic gripped her, and the air grew tense with uncertainty. The men wore unsettling grins, and Amaya's heart pounded in her chest as she realized she was ambushed. She desperately wished she had listened to her instincts and avoided this hallway altogether. The realization that she was completely alone in this vulnerable situation made her stomach churn with fear.

As the menacing figures closed in, Amaya's mind raced, and her fight-or-flight instincts kicked in. She took a step back, her eyes darting around the dimly lit hallway for any sign of help. The air thickened with tension, and the chilling grins on the faces of the two men only fueled her fear. Every escape route seemed blocked, and panic surged through her. The men's intentions remained unclear, but the sinister aura they exuded left Amaya grappling with the paralyzing uncertainty of what would unfold next. The echo of footsteps reverberated off the cold walls, underscoring the ominous atmosphere that surrounded her. But even among the fear and panic she felt something weirdly familiar... A faint memory tugged at the edges of her mind, a sense of déjà vu that added another layer of confusion to her already chaotic thoughts. It was as if she had experienced this before. Then the realization hit her like a semi-truck. The menacing actions, the sinister smiles, the exploitation of the deserted surroundings. They reminded her of her ex, and how he used to treat her.

They were like him.

She couldn't believe it, but the similarities were too striking to ignore. The eerie familiarity of the situation sent shivers down her spine, as she realized she had unknowingly stumbled into a nightmare reminiscent of her past relationship. The memories flooded back, causing her breathing to quicken and her eyesight to blur. She had thought she had escaped that dark chapter of her life, but now it seemed like history was repeating itself. The fear and helplessness she once felt resurfaced, making her question if she had truly moved on or if she was destined to relive the same nightmare over and over again. In her blind panic she back against a wall, trying to buy her a few extra moments. She tried to scream but it was like her lungs had given out, leaving her voice trapped within her. The figures reached out, grabbing her wrists. One man held a knife, gleaming in the dim light, while his other hand held her wrist. "Don't scream or we cut" The voice was low and menacing, sending chills down her spine. She felt the cold metal of the knife press against her skin as a wave of terror engulfed her.

Gasping for breath, Amaya's heart raced uncontrollably, its erratic beats echoing in her ears. The world around her blurred, each explosion reverberating through her trembling body. Her vision tunneled, and the chaos outside intensified, a cacophony of shouts and scuffling merging into an overwhelming symphony of panic. The grip on reality slipped away, and she felt her consciousness teetering on the edge of a precipice. As her back slid down the wall, she clutched her head between her legs, attempting to ground herself. Yet, the deafening explosions continued to reverberate in her mind. The air grew thick with suffocating dread, and the onslaught of sensations left her paralyzed. Desperate for reprieve, she closed her eyes once more, hoping to escape the nightmarish scene unfolding around her. In the darkness behind her eyelids, she tried to summon a sense of calm, but the vivid images of chaos still haunted her. She yearned for a moment of respite, a chance to find solace amidst the turmoil that surrounded her, but it turned out that there was even more turmoil inside her brain than out.

Bakugou swiftly incapacitated them; after all, they were merely a duo of low-tier criminals. He sprinted over to Amaya, his heart pounding with adrenaline. As he reached her, he could see the fear in her eyes and the trembling of her body. Without hesitation, he wrapped his arms around her, offering a comforting embrace that she desperately needed in that moment. "Amaya, are you hurt? Amaya, can you hear me? Did they hurt you? Say something!!" he begged, still holding onto her with an unwavering grip. All she could hear was muffled yelling and the sound of her own rapid breathing. The world around her seemed to blur as she struggled to process what had just happened. Bakugou's voice was the only thing that managed to break through the chaos in her mind. "I'm here, Bakugou," she finally managed to whisper, her voice trembling. "Yes! You're here, but I need you to calm down, ok? Take a deep breath" He coaxed, backing out of the hug to look into her eyes. "Hey, open your eyes. Look around, you're safe now. You can relax."

She fluttered one eye open, then two and groggily looked around as if she had just awoken from hibernation. She blinked a few times, her vision slowly re-aligning as she took in her surroundings. The chaos and panic that had consumed her mind began to dissipate, replaced by a sense of relief and security. She thrust herself back into Bakugou's arms, clutching the back of his t-shirt with white-knuckled fists, letting a few silent tears drip onto his sleeve. "Thank you..." she whispered, her voice barely audible. Bakugou held her tighter, his own eyes filled with a mixture of concern and tenderness. "You don't have to thank me," he replied softly, his voice filled with an uncharacteristic warmth. "Let's take you to Recovery Girl, ok?" he said, breaking the hug and getting to his feet. "Can you walk?"
