"Millie? Are you there?" I asked her worriedly. Her voice was cut off, and the phone call ended. I tracked her location, and she didn't take the normal exit to my road. I felt betrayed, I felt played, I felt so many emotions, and I didn't know how to cope with it. We were only 19 when we started dating, and after two years, she threw everything away.
I hated her
But I couldn't. A part of me still loved her, even after 6 months after she left me.

Christmas was a few weeks away, and I had been a complete mess: drinking after practices or games. I had seen her brother and mom at our games, and they ignored me, never bothering to ask what happened.

She had been popping up in dreams, causing scenarios that could've happened, but she could never skate her way out of my brain no matter how hard I tried to forget about her. Luke had been keeping me busy and spending time with me more. He had gone through the same thing, and talked to me about it. Soon after, the pain of her leaving me was gone, and I stopped doing the habits of her leaving me had caused.
