1. Snowball fight
If Karlyle and Ash had a snowball fight, Karlyle couldn’t bear to throw snow at Ash, whom he loved, so he didn’t throw properly.
About Ash, he didn’t have a good aim, so his throw completely missed Karlyle. The two of them would have a romantic snowball fight. Ash wanted to see Karlyle covered in snow (haha)
Then, Ash felt like Karlyle was too easy on him, so he asked him to throw properly (he regretted it later)
Karlyle: 100% accuracy.
Why did Ash ask him to throw properly? Karlyle thought. But as he did his best since his husband wanted him to, the mood suddenly became tense.

There was a time when they went car racing together, Ash got motion sickness since Lyle drove too fast. As an F1 sponsor, Karlyle is actually very good at driving a sports car.

Karlyle is a very conservative person. He doesn’t eat cereal often because it seems a bit American. He usually eats porridge, poached eggs, bread and tea for breakfast. Sometimes muesli and milk or yogurt? Oreo….corn roast….he doesn’t like these very much (too sweet)
Ash likes sweets, he likes cereal and often goes to Cereal Killer Cafe. Brick Lane (where Nick and Ash once went on a “date” (haha)), is in Spitalfields, and there’s a Cereal Killer Cafe there. Since it’s a hip place, he thinks he’ll take Karlyle there in the future. Anyway, he often eats Oreo or Cheerios chocolate, but one time, Karlyle looked at him curiously and asked to try it.
Karlyle tasted a bite of his Cheerios chocolate milk, then he put down his spoon and politely said “It’s delicious”. But Ash knew that Karlyle didn’t really think so, so he smiled and said “Tell me honestly, honey”. Karlyle hesitated “It’s not my taste….”
What a pity. Ash then asked him “What about my lips?” And they ended up having a chocolate-flavored kiss.
On the other hand, Ash doesn’t like porridge that much. When he eats it, he traditionally adds honey or fruit. Yogurt is a fairy that is a must have with muesli and fruit.
5. Let’s think about our babies enjoying the summer. The day finally came when Karlyle taught Ash how to ride horses.
Karlyle had been riding horses since he was young and knew how to take care of them well. For Ash, he was a little cautious of swans. Horses were aesthetically beautiful, but seeing them up close made Ash a little (uhm….) nervous ^^;
Karlyle’s beloved Alexander often appeared at family events and picnics, but Ash had never said hello to him properly. First of all, Ash was a beginner, so he’d start with a pony first. But before that, he formally greeted Alexander.
Karlyle: Ash, this is Alexander. It’s a gentle one, you can touch it.
Alexander: huff! (Tail waving)
Ash (^^;): Hello, Alexander?
Ash tried to touch him, but Alexander stared at him intently.
Alexander was a cute mare who received regular visits and love from Karlyle ever since he was small. And Alexander received a lot of love from its mother and grandfather as well. It immediately disliked Ash the moment it saw him. At a glance, it could notice that its owner loved Ash very much. It turned its head away and refused Ash’s greeting. It slapped Ash’s back with its tail, making Ash a little nervous ^^;;
Now that he thought of it, Ash felt that Karlyle was loved by many people, which was endearing. People around Karlyle became very attached to him. Watching the handsome Alpha nobleman dressed in horse riding clothes walking while explaining various things to him, Ash held Karlyle and kissed his forehead. He was so cute that he couldn’t help it. Karlyle stopped in his tracks.
“Ash, here….Alex is watching….”
But they, ignoring it, continued to kiss and lightly bite their lips. And the atmosphere became hotter….
The moment Alexander’s eyes, who were watching them, turned O.O, Karlyle carefully covered its eyes….
Anyway, Ash, who was in a good mood because of the amazing kiss, tasted Karlyle in a secret part of the ranch before he finally started taking the riding class. Karlyle couldn’t believe something like this happened on the sacred ranch, so he prepared for the lesson by pushing himself harder.
He let Ash ride the pony he gifted him on his birthday last year. This mare, whom Ash named “Karly”, was a gentle horse, so Ash could ride it well. They had been building a friendship since last year. The problem was that Ash was a little unfamiliar with horse riding, so he was slightly nervous.
6. The story about one time Karlyle lost his wedding ring.
When riding the horse at Aiden’s ranch, his hands got dirty so he took the ring off for a moment. But it fell and Alexander kicked it somewhere.
As soon as Karlyle saw it, he almost uncharacteristically snapped at the horse, but Aiden stopped him. Then the search around the grass on the ranch began. However, the ring was kicked farther than he thought, so he couldn't find it right away. In the meantime, it was getting late. Eventually, when Ash worriedly contacted him, Karlyle faced the biggest crisis of his life.
He couldn’t make Ash worry, so he went home for now. When Ash asked him why he was late, he almost blurted out that he lost his ring, but he suddenly felt so pathetic and scared of disappointing Ash. So he reacted colder and more expressionless than usual. He simply said that the horse riding was late. Without realizing it, he started avoiding Ash.
He was so embarrassed that even though he knew it wasn’t his fault, he felt like he didn’t deserve to confess to Ash and that he didn’t deserve to face Ash. So he hurried into the bathroom.
Of course, Ash noticed it and asked why he was acting like that. He tried to get in the bathroom as well, but was shocked as Karlyle said that he wanted to wash alone today.
The first day of the grand misunderstanding party began like that. Ash was extremely nervous as Karlyle had never acted like that to him. He waited like a puppy in front of the bathroom. Seeing Ash like that, Karlyle’s heart pounded as he was so cute.
When Karlyle asked him if he had eaten while avoiding his gaze, Ash asked him with the most sorrowful voice ever.
“Please tell me what’s going on. Did I accidentally hurt you, Lyle?”
Karlyle lied that he was more tired than he thought, then avoided eye contact and excused himself to run in his office. He called Aiden right away and told him that he’d be back at night to search and asked him to turn on the lights everywhere.
While waiting for his phone call to end, Ash felt anxious as Karlyle was so different from usual. But he still made dinner for him. Finishing the long call, Karlyle paused upon seeing that. (As soon as he saw it, he was so touched and sorry at the same time that he felt low due to guilt). Ash decided to wait for Karlyle for now.
Ash knew that Karlyle wasn’t good at expressing himself, so he decided to wait for today, then he asked him in a more gentle and chattering manner.
“Lyle, so what should we do tomorrow? (It’s a holiday). Should we go on a picnic as planned?”
Karlyle still had urgent things to do tomorrow. He paused and said.
“I’m sorry. Something came up.”
Meanwhile, Karlyle kept weirdly looking at his phone (Aiden was complaining on his phone). Karlyle was meant to say that “If Ash wanted to, should we do something else in the evening?”, but he unconsciously forgot to say this latter part.
In the end, Ash, who had been waiting patiently, quietly released his pheromones and stared at Karlyle's phone.
“That’s not like you today, Lyle.”
Ash’s gaze landed on his phone screen. At that moment, Karlyle was scared that Ash might find out, so he unconsciously hid his phone. Ash’s pheromones hardened a little.
“I guess it’s something you can’t show me.”
It was okay to tell the truth. Though Karlyle was gradually getting used to expressing himself, he was a person who didn’t normally make mistakes. He was also aware that Ash valued romantic things, and in this state, he even made Ash angry with his attitude. His hands and feet turned cold. Karlyle put down his phone, his lips clapped. Then he let out his sincere apology.
“I’m sorry, I was rude.”
Ash wasn’t in a good mood either, but he knew Karlyle well. Karlyle was too surprised right now. He sighed a little and put down the food Karlyle hadn’t touched.
“Unless it’s really urgent, when you’re with me, can you look at me, my love?” He said.
Then Karlyle calmly ate the meal Ash made for him. But then, it bothered him so much that Karlyle ended up telling at least one truth.
“I texted with Aiden earlier. I couldn’t show you since it was a bit sensitive.”
Ash was going crazy wondering what was going on, but as he was the older one, he decided to skip it for today.
However, Ash couldn’t help but feel anxious, so the meal continued in silence with a smile on his face. In this atmosphere, Karlyle ended up not being able to finish the meal. After that, he tried to help empty out the food and clean up, but Ash told him it was okay and sent him off to do some busy work. Karlyle felt like he was going crazy, he was also afraid of losing his ring. So he ended up leaving again 😭
And so, a huge misunderstanding began….
1.Karlyle was in England right now, not on a business trip. So there were only few days where he didn’t sleep with Ash (even on a business trip, they still did video call)
2. Unusually unable to concentrate on what Ash was saying.
3. Crucially, Ash was anxious, so he texted Aiden to see if Karlyle was okay.
[Aiden, is Lyle there?]
However, Aiden had already heard from Karlyle that Ash was angry (Aiden knew he was just surprised). So he said this to cover for Karlyle.
[Ash, don’t be too angry. It’s not a mistake Karlyle made because he wanted to.]
Then, Aiden sent one more text to Ash, who stopped while texting in the middle of the night.
[People make unexpected mistakes in their lives. He wasn’t careful, please just overlook it. It won’t happen again.]
Just as Aiden sent that text, Karlyle came back after mobilizing people to find the ring. Aiden felt like he had fulfilled his duty as a friend to Karlyle, who came back just at the right time.
“I asked your husband to forgive you. He wasn’t as mad as I thought he would be.”
Karlyle, who was wondering what the hell this was about, hurriedly took Aiden’s phone and warned him.
“Ash doesn’t know I lost the ring. Don’t tell him.”
If the conversation went on, Aiden would have talked about the ring. Aiden quietly turned off his phone and put it in his pocket. Coming back from the dead, Karlyle went back with others to search the vast ranch. He couldn’t use a machine since the ring might get inside it and be damaged, so he hired a search dog….
As both Aiden and him disappeared like that, Ash thought about what Aiden said with no further texts. Then, he thought of the most absurd suspicion.
Lyle was with Aiden + he made a mistake + did something happen at the party Aiden threw?
Ash was careful at giving his full trust to his lover due to what happened between his parents. Because of the trauma Hazel gave him, he was deep in shock as he subconsciously remembered it. Ash hated himself for thinking like that, so he desperately decided to trust Karlyle. However, he ended up staying up all night waiting for Karlyle….
But what was different from back then was that, even if Lyle did betray him, he wouldn’t be able to let go of Lyle even if he died.

When I see Ash when he doesn’t smile, I feel like I’m going to pass out. I had this otaku-like vision. What if Ash lost his memory and became cold to Karlyle?
Ash was somewhat aware that he had someone he loved in his heart, but he didn’t know it was Karlyle in front of him (since he lost memory). So he showed a distant expression to Karlyle.
Moreover, when Ash woke up after the accident, the only thing Ash remembered about Karlyle was the bad first impression when they “first” met each other. When he saw how Karlyle was talking coldly with the doctor about his condition (Karlyle was just too worried about him), Ash even thought what on earth this person was.
And Karlyle…. this was such an unbelievable situation. As soon as he saw Ash’s cold face, “So this moment has finally come to me”, all he felt was despair.
To Karlyle, Ash was already such a huge blessing in his life, so in this moment of tragedy, he even thought this was a natural consequence. This hurt so much. Various things ran through his head about whether he should try to make Ash remember. Karlyle was weak against rejection.
Seeing Ash not smiling when he saw him and calling Lyle was the scariest thing ever to Karlyle. Ash called Lyle, but he didn’t remember that Karlyle was “his Lyle”. Karlyle couldn’t bear to resent or worry about it. He froze on the spot.
Ash didn’t remember him, but his loving heart and body memories remained. He kept looking for the “Lyle” that he couldn’t remember.
Karlyle wanted to touch Ash, but the cold Ash was too unfamiliar. His hand kept reaching out then lowering down.
He silently took care of Ash from the back. He maintained his expressionless face. Meanwhile, Ash didn’t understand what was going on, why he was doing that.
Nobody understood his husband’s condition more than Karlyle, though he didn’t show anything on his face. For Ash Jones, he was having trouble sleeping.
When Ash heard that Karlyle was his husband, he hesitated for a moment with a questioning and confused look. But then, he smiled. However, it wasn’t the smile Karlyle knew. It was the smile Ash used when he met a stranger. Ash was a kind person.
After Ash knew about their relationship, Karlyle tried not to make any mistakes. But out of habit, Karlyle many times unconsciously almost touched or hugged Ash. He himself immediately got startled and became a bit awkward, his body stiffened. Karlyle thoroughly reminded himself not to end up touching Ash.
The doctor told him that, for Ash’s memories to come back, he should stay with him. But the Ash, who had been touching him without hesitation since the moment they first met, was not here.
