Monday morning came, I was feeling a little lazy that I didn't get up just yet.
'five more minutes' I mumbled to myself.
I had my day-off yesterday and all I did was watch TV, read books, browse the internet, talk to my family, sleep, eat, clean the apartment, do some chores, well, the usual things.
But I wanted one more day off.
Then I remembered that I resigned from my third job and I have to find a new one.
So, I eventually got up and went in for a shower.
While I was in the bathroom, I heard my phone ringing.
I stepped out and looked at it and saw Seungri's name.
I ignored it and went on with my business.
As I was about to wrap myself with my towel, I heard a knock on my door.
"Who is it?" I asked.
But no one answered and kept knocking.
"Hold your horses, I'm coming!" I shouted.
I grabbed my robe and wore it and hurriedly opened the door.
"what is it...." but as I opened the door, no one was there.
I was about to close the door when suddenly a bouquet of roses popped out from both sides.
"what the..." I mumbled.
"SURPRISE!" they shouted and jumped out of nowhere.
I saw Seungri and Daesung;
Youngbae and TOP popped their head out while holding the bouquet of roses.
I was really surprised.
"what's going on here..?" I asked them.
"well, we're here to apologize and hang out with you!" Seungri said enthusiastically.
"wh..what..? wasn't I clear -"
"Aren't you going to let us in, Lizzie?" TOP interrupted.
"well, I...don't..."
"don't worry about your work, we already took care of it." Youngbae said.
I let out a sigh and said "not again..."
they all chuckled.
"by the way, Lizzie. don't you want to change first?" Daesung said.
I blushed and nodded and sheepishly smiled at them.
"make yourself comfortable then." I said as I opened the door for them and ran towards my room.
Damn it. What are they thinking?! I was serious when I said I don't want to get involved with them, why can't they understand that?! That reminds me, I didn't see jiyong. Where is he? Well, whatever, I'm kinda glad he wasn't here.
I was already talking to myself as I picked out clothes to wear.
I picked out something casual, my ordinary clothes: jeans, black shirt, my sneakers, and my favorite yellow beanie.
I don't want to dress to impress them or something.
I even put a very light make up on and had my hair down.
I wore my boyish accessories: a shoulder bag enough to place my phone and wallet in it.
As I went out of my room, I heard Seungri complaining and I think he's arguing with someone and my bet is Youngbae.
"what's going on here?" I asked.
"why do you have-" Seungri didn't finished his sentence.
They all turned to my direction and didn't say a word.
"what? why are you all staring at me?"
"I don't know why but I'm completely mesmerized by your simple beauty." Seungri said.
Then Taeyang hit Seungri again.
"you're pretty as always." Youngbae said.
I was starting to blush,
"aisshh, stop that. Tell me what's our agenda for today." I said.
they chuckled again.
"What's funny?"
"Well, we don't know yet. We're waiting for Jiyong's signal." TOP said.
that's right, he isn't here.
"Where is he anyway?" I asked.
"Out there somewhere, planning for our agenda today." TOP answered.
I sighed again and mumbled, "He has the guts to do that after what he did and said...tsk"
I turned my back and went to the kitchen when Seungri suddenly said,
"It's his idea, you know, Lizzie. he said something about being guilty of what had happened."
I froze and bit my lip, then shrugged.
I prepared some coffee when I heard taeyang coming in,
"need some help?" he said.
"oh, no thanks, I got it."
"let me help you, I'll carry the tray for you." he offered.
He caught my hand as he was trying to take the tray away from me.
I looked at him and saw him smiling.
I started to blush.
"Fine, here, take this to the guys." I said as I handed him the tray carefully avoiding his eyes.
I heard him laughed a bit, I turned around and smiled.
I went out of the kitchen and carried the cake they brought.
"Ya, Lizzie, Jiyong gave the signal. shall we?" TOP said.
"Eh..? I just brought the cake out."
"Put it in the fridge. Maybe after our agenda we can crash here again and eat the cake." Seungri said.
I didn't say anything because I know I'll just lose if I try to argue with them.
So, we walked out of the streets.
While I was in between Youngbae and Seungri.
Seungri was clinging on to me, had his arm link to mine.
I can hear daesung and TOP laughing at the back.
I rolled my eyes and hid my face with my hair 'coz I can feel the eyes of people around us staring at this very moment.
"Hold your head up high and show them how pretty you are." Youngbae whispered in my ear.
"I want to live longer, Youngbae." I said.
He smirked.
I was curious to where these guys will take me.
I have no idea and the suspense is killing me.
I didn't want to show them how excited I am and I couldn't smile a lot too since the glares of fan girls or people around us are at my direction.
"You, Lizzie, should enjoy this day with us since we wouldn't be staying here long. Just give us this chance to make it up to you and show how sincere our apologies are." Seungri whispered in my ear.
I looked at him.
He smiled and kissed my forehead.
"You are so cute I could eat you." he added.
Then from behind TOP smacked his head and suddenly Youngbae grabbed me from my arm and placed his arms around me in a protective manner.
"aisshh!" Seungri protested and grabbed my other hand.
"Let her go, she's mine." he said out of the blue that even me was in a shock.
The guys froze.
"what?!" Seungri and I said in a surprised tone.
"you heard me right, I already confessed to her the night we spent together. ALONE." he said.
"WHAT?!" we (Seungri, Daesung, TOP and myself) said altogether.
"Ya, Youngbae. What do you mean THE-NIGHT-WE-SPEND-TOGETHER-ALONE?!" TOP asked.
He laughed.
he was laughing hard now.
I don't know what to say, I'm a bit speechless right now.
oh shit, HELP!.
"Ya, Lizzie. I thought nothing happened between you two?" TOP continued.
"Eh?!" I widened my eyes as I said those words.
"NOTHING HAPPENED! YOUNGBAE! TELL THEM!" I shouted.
People around us started to stare and whispering.
"Did I say something about something happened between us?" he said with a playful smile.
"YA!" I said as I pushed him.
he laughed again.
"but seriously, nothing happened. we were just spending the night...together...alone...on the floor." he teased.
"YA!!" I shouted and I blushed.
"hyeoooong....." Seungri wailed.
I turned to him and saw him making his sad face.
"why did you do that!?" he said.
"ya! Seungri! I told you, nothing happened!"
"I know but you two slept together, on the floor... I want that too!" he whined.
and I was starting to make faces at Taeyang and glared at him.
"Just to make him stop clinging on to you... Sorry.." he whispered.
we started to walk again, but Seungri didn't stop clinging on to me.
Daesung had his arms around Youngbae's shoulders and was laughing and goofing around, while TOP was just silent as he led the way.
We reached at this fancy looking-restaurant.
But it seemed close as of the moment; curtains were down and it was a bit dark.
"here we are." TOP said.
"before we get in, Lizzie, need to wear this blindfold." Daesung said
"what for?" I asked
"you'll see.." he said.
The last thing ai saw was Daesung's angelic smile.
I don't know who led me inside.
All I know was I walked for at least 10 steps then sat down on a chair.
I could feel a table and that's all.
I heard a microphone echoed and it hurt my ears.
"you can take your blindfold off now, miss Elizabeth." I heard Jiyong's voice.
I took it off and my eyesight had to adjust.
I saw a blurry vision of lights.
As soon as my eyesight adjusted I saw a tarpaulin:
"BIG BANG SPECIAL MINI CONCERT" it said.
I clasped my hand on my mouth.
On the table, I saw a Bigbang light stick; just like the ones fans have during their concerts.
"This concert is for you since you haven't gone to any of our concert yet. We dedicate this to you." Seungri said in a manly tone and winked.
"this day, we shall make it up to you. this concert is our gift to you, because you are a special VIP." Jiyong added.
They began their concert.
The restaurant was a bit spacious.
I was impressed on how they got this closed and all to ourselves; how they prepared this mini stage.
They performed their songs: for opening they performed tonight...
then always, last farewell, haru haru, love song (acapella);
then GD's butterfly (acoustic);
TOP's turn it up;
Taeyang's I'll be there (he swept me off my feet by his dance moves);
Seungri's What can I do (he also swept me off my feet by his charms and dance moves)
And Daesung's baby don't cry (he got me by his voice).
GD&TOP's Don't go home (in this part, GD took me out of my seat and was playing the role of his "GF")
and for their closing they performed hands up.
Most of the songs they performed were the songs I liked the most, especially Haru haru where I first fell in love with Bigbang.
The fan girl in me awaken.
Of course, I had lots of pictures and some videos of them.
My memorable photo was me and Jiyong on stage; it was a selca type where our faces were really close to each other.
"Encore! Encore!" I shouted.
They performed stupid liar.
I had this huge smile on my face the entire time I was watching their mini concert and you can call it a gag concert as well; in between their performances they were making fun of Seungri and was trying their best to pull off a gag.
I was really thankful that I was starting to tear up.
"Lizzie! you crying?" Seungri asked.
I immediately wiped my tears away.
"oh... Well... This is embarrassing... How can I say this... I'm very thankful... This is my tears of joy... You made this day one of my most unforgettable day ever." I said.
I couldn't stop my tears from flowing that I looked silly in front of them: laughing and crying at the same time.
"it seems you are crying tears of joy indeed..laughing and crying.." Daesung said.
"Ya...Lizzie...stop it...or I'll cry too..." Seungri said.
Then TOP smacked his shoulder.
Then Youngbae hugged me.
"there, there..." he said.
"ya! don't do that! just because you and-" then suddenly TOP and Daesung clasped there hands on Seungri's mouth.
After realizing what he was doing.
I immediately distanced myself from taeyang.
I looked at Jiyong.
He was glaring at us.
I looked away.
"Well, is anyone here hungry?" I sheepishly asked.
"I AM!" Daesung shouted still covering Seungri's mouth.
after Seungri calmed down, Daesung and TOP sat down.
I was sitting at the center of the table.
On my left was Youngbae.
On my right was Jiyong.
Next to him was Seungri.
Across me was TOP and Daesung sat next to Youngbae.
I had an awkward feeling being the center of attraction; all of their eyes on me.
"So Lizzie-" Youngbae and Jiyong said.
My eyes widened and my heart began to beat real fast.
They looked at each other.
"What do you want to eat?" TOP asked me.
Looks like he finished what they were trying to say.
"Me? I dunno, I am not that hungry... I guess I'll have a cream soup and a toast on the side?" I said.
"Drinks?" Jiyong asked.
"Water will do." I said quickly.
Then Jiyong called the waiter.
The atmosphere...
It was awkward.
I tried to look at them one by one.
TOP was chewing his food while looking at his phone.
Daesung and Seungri were giggling and throwing bits of rice at each other.
Jiyong ate his food silently while Youngbae was finishing up and drank his diet soda.
I was sort of having a hard time to start a conversation.
Jiyong's glare made it even worse.
I cleared my throat.
"so, how's your food, TOP?" I asked.
He raised his hand and gave me an "OK" sign without eye contact.
Daesung and Seungri were still throwing bits of rice at each other, that I called their attention.
"hey, stop playing with your food." I said.
"omo! yes mom..we will..." Seungri jokingly said.
"Mom? Me?"
"yes, 'coz you're acting like our mother." he said.
I rolled my eyes and drank my water.
"How was your food, Lizzie?" Youngbae asked.
I smiled and said,
"It's very good, thank you for asking."
"hah." I heard Jiyong said.
I looked at him.
He was drinking.
maybe I was hearing things.
"so, where to next?" I asked with a grin.
everyone except me looked at Jiyong.
"to the pacific park."
As soon as I heard him say that, I felt warm on my cheeks.
Pacific park was the place where me and Taeyang sorta dated.
"Pacific...park?" I said.
Jiyong nodded.
I heard taeyang let out a small laugh.
I stepped on his foot and smiled as if nothing happened while Youngbae crouched down.
"what's wrong?" Jiyong asked him.
"uhh, nothing. Suddenly my leg hurts."
"do you need to rest?" he asked
Youngbae shook his head.
"well, ok then. Let's go!" Seungri said enthusiastically.
We arrived at the pacific park, and to my surprise it was closed...again!
Man, they really impressed me now.
"Jiyong got the whole amusement park for us. it'll re-open at 7pm so we have unlimited fun!" Daesung said.
I couldn't believe it that all I did was smile and laugh.
I turned to Jiyong
"Thank you!" and then I bowed.
He tapped my shoulder and said
"it's nothing. there's nothing I won't do... for a special VIP" he said.
by what he said, I felt my heart skipped a bit and I blushed.
we practically tried every ride, tried every game available in pacific park.
Seungri and I even barfed from riding too much rides but that didn't stop me whereas Seungri had to rest,
"omo...how much energy does she have?" he asked.
Everyone laughed.
as usual, I took a lot of pictures.
"you sure love to take a lot of pictures." TOP said.
"yeah... it's my memory of special events and what not... these pictures can last for a lifetime... except if you have to reformat your laptop..." I said.
TOP smirked.
"but seriously speaking, photos can hold a lot of memories. photos can last for a long time... Unlike the memories inside our mind... some you forget, some you intentionally forget... whereas for photos, when you see the moment you captured, your memories would flashback and you are reminded of that very moment when you had fun, when you're in pain, when you're happy..." I said.
but TOP was silent...
when nightfall came, me and Jiyong sat at a nearby bench while the others were still having a fun time at the rides.
I sighed.
"did you have fun?" he asked.
I nodded.
"do you want to have a walk at the pier?" he asked.
I looked at him tenderly and nodded.
He then looked away.
"Come" he said as he extended his hand to me.
ai slowly grabbed it.
I couldn't believe it but I'm holding Jiyong's hand and we slowly walked.
I couldn't concentrate and my hands turns cold when I get nervous and I am getting nervous as of the moment.
So I tried to distract myself, I looked up the sky and saw pretty stars.
"wow..." I said.
Jiyong was rather quiet.
I looked at him and he was looking at me tenderly, our eyes met again.
His dark brown eyes and mine met again.
I smiled as I blushed.
"I'm sorry. I really do fancy the sky at night." I said.
"I know..." he said and for the first time today, he smiled.
His smile was so tender; his smile made me feel like I am melting.
"Can I ask you a question, Jiyong?"
he nodded, "go ahead"
"why did you say I am a special VIP? why me? I know you have a lot of fans all over the world, but why pick me?" he didn't answer me.
"ok then..." I said in a low voice.
"I don't know why. Idon't even believe in fate, in destiny, not even 'love at first sight'. but when I met you-"
"I changed that?" I interrupted.
"you can say that..."
"why?"
"I told you, I don't know. Lately, I'm being impulsive; doing things and saying things without even thinking. Like for example, the night I stayed with you at the hospital and the night I went to your aunt's house and tonight, when I just offered my hand. even I don't know why I'm doing such things." he said as he tightened his grip.
"They say, you cannot explain love... Love is not an emotion nor a feeling. It's a decision you make... A decision that will be a part for the rest of your life." I said.
He froze and looked at me.
"But then again, you said it yourself that you don't believe in love-at-first-sight...i don't believe it either because love requires time and effort." I continued.
"Don't tell me that I changed your perspective about fate, about destiny, about love at first sight because I did not control your thoughts nor your actions. It is you who decided on those..." I said as I let go of his hand.
He didn't say anything.
I stared at him and he looked back at me.
"Let's go back. The others might be looking for us, especially Seungri." I said to break off the silence and showed him my smile.
I started to walk backwards and then turned my back at him but he grabbed my hand.
"Maybe... Just maybe... Let's see what happens..." he said.
I slowly walked again but he didn't moved.
Instead he tugged me towards him and hugged me.
"Will you help me find the answer to your questions?" he asked.
"It's all up to you, Jiyong." I said.
"Let's go back now." I added as I pushed him lightly away from me.
As I turned my back, I saw Taeyang standing a few feet away from us.
"Youngbae!" I said as my eyes widened.
"Everyone's looking for you two... Seungri won't shut up..." he said as he walk towards me.
He stopped walking as soon as he was an arm length away from me.
He looked at me then at Jiyong.
"let's go." he said then placed his arms around me and we walked away.
"Youngbae..."
he didn't say anything nor gave any facial expression.
we just walked.
I looked at my back and saw Jiyong just standing there.
we found Daesung, Seungri and TOP.
They were rubbing Seungri's back, he was barfing again.
"Ya! Look, you're a mess. you've had too much to eat, too much to drink and too much rides. Look what happened" Daesung said.
I went near Seungri and helped him
"hey, Seungri. Don't lean down, you'll feel more sick that way, sit up properly. Can anyone get me a bottle of water please?" I said.
"I'll get it." TOP offered.
"Thank you." I said.
I rubbed Seungri's back gently.
"Do some deep breathing, seungri. It might help."
so he did.
as soon as TOP arrived with the water, I opened it and poured enough amount on my palm and tried to wipe Seungri's face.
Seungri took the bottle and had a sip of it.
"Don't drink it all up or you'll barf again." I said.
He took sip by sip.
10 minutes passed, Seungri felt better.
"whoah...Lizzie, you sure know how to take care of me. you're like a doctor or something." Seungri said.
I smiled.
"It's because I am a nurse." I said.
Daesung, Seungri and TOP looked at me with a surprise expression.
"unbelievable, right?"
"you should be OK by now, Seungri. wanna go for one more ride?" I jokingly added.
"AAAAH! no more rides! no more!" he protested.
I laughed.
I turned around to see Jiyong standing behind me with arms crossed staring at me.
Iabruptly stopped laughing.
"aigoo... Jiyong, you scared me." I said.
but he didn't say a thing nor did he give a facial expression, he was just staring at me.
I turned my back at him and offered my apartment to them.
"Let's take Seungri to my apartment, he can freshen up there and i think i have some medicine for motion sickness at home."
"that's a great idea!" Seungri said lively.
I heard no one protested, so, we headed back to my apartment.
We had to stop over a convenient store before heading to my apartment. they all went out of the car (4x4 bmw) except for myself and Seungri.
When they got back they brought each paper bags with them.
"whoah...you bought a lot...wait...what did you buy?" I asked.
"you'll see.." Daesung said..
we arrived at my apartment and when I looked at the paper bag they brought, I saw lots of beers inside and some chips too.
"hey! who said you can drink in my apartment?!" I said.
"no one. that's why we helped ourselves." TOP said.
we continued to party all-night long, except for Seungri who was feeling a little sick and went to my bed as soon as he was done washing up.
I was a little tipsy so were the others.
Well except for TOP.
Daesung fell asleep on the couch. so there was me, Jiyong, Youngbae and TOP.
I was sitting in between Youngbae and Jiyong and across me was TOP.
we played a little game called truth or dare.
Everyone seems like they don't like to tell the truth and went for a dare.
When the bottle pointed at me I chose truth.
Since TOP spinned the bottle, he got the privilege to ask me a question.
"If you'll have to choose between Jiyong and Youngbae, who will you pick? no ors, no in between, no both...You have to choose one." TOP said
although I was a little tipsy, I was still in my right mind to answer his question.
TOP leaned closer to listen to my answer while Jiyong and Youngbae stared at me.
"You really want to know?" I said
TOP nodded.
"come a little closer, I'll whipser it to you." I said.
"ya, that's not fair." Youngbae protested.
"it's fair since top asked the question. come here." I said as I grabbed top's collar and whispered in his ear,
"You..." and then I laughed.
"aiissshhh..I was not a part of the choices." he said.
"I already answered. I get to spin the bottle!"
We continued playing.
at some point, I sat beside TOP because youngbae kept putting his arms around me and Jiyong won't stop grabbing my arm.
I sat beside baby tabi.
30 minutes later, Youngbae and Jiyong got knocked out and lay down flat on the floor.
"you sure are a heavy drinker." TOP said.
"years of practice, my friend." I answered with my eyes half open.
"figures." there was a short silence between us.
"why didn't you answer my question earlier?" he asked.
I smiled.
"do you want these two to kill each other? you know what tabi boy, I am not that stupid... But not that I am assuming anything... Taeyang here indirectly confessed to me the night he came to my apartment for the first time...bjust a while ago, if I got it right, Jiyong indirectly confessed too... So basically I know how they feel. This guy here (pointing at youngbae) openly shows his feelings... While this guy here (pointing at jiyong) is confused and supressing his feelings. (smirked) you know what I mean?" i told TOP.
"for a klutz, you sure are smart."
"I may be a klutz, but I am not stupid. I just hope I am not dreaming... when I wake up in the morning, you guys will still be here..." I said.
"but there's one thing I'm confused of" I added as I leaned on TOP's broad shoulder.
"what's that?" he asked.
"well...why me?" and that was the last word I said before I fell asleep on TOP's broad shoulder.
