Merry Christmas everyone hope you all enjoy this special! This will have 2 parts to it. This first one will be the cons participating in a secret santa event while the second part will feature the Bee Team where they all have a fun (totally not chaotic) Christmas party together. Some of them might be a bit OOC as well for this special. So yeah happy holidays and I hope this year has been kind to you all💖
December 24th
You checked the calendar and it was now Christmas Eve. The perfect opportunity to spend some time with everyone and get them gifts. But you had a much better idea. One that you thought everyone would like since you loved doing this specific event every year.
Secret Santa
A fun thing where everyone puts their name on a piece of paper, place it inside a hat and everyone gets a random person to get a gift for. Normally the budget would be something small like $20, but since you were spending your Christmas with the cons you thought maybe you could go all out so all of them would get something they'll like. And seeing as none of them really had a gift, this event would be a way to make sure everyone would get something, all while having fun at the same time.
So after an hour the cons all gathered around at your place where you would all be doing the secret santa. There were 8 (if we count Fracture's two minicons) so thankfully no one was gonna be left out. You had them sit down and asked them all to write their names on a piece of paper as you handed it out. Of course this made a few questions rise.
"Why are we writing our names on a piece of paper?" Fracture asked as he looked at the paper with a confused look but then wrote down his name anyway. "Just wait and you'll see. I'll explain in a few seconds." You waited for everyone else to write their names and then placed them all in a santa hat.
"The reason I gathered you all today is because as you're all probably aware of, it's now Christmas Eve, and Christmas Day is tomorrow. Because this is your first Christmas I have decided to hold a little Secret Santa event where you will all pick out a random name out of this hat and whoever you get is the person you will have to get a gift for." You then shook the hat a bit to shuffle up the names. Then, one by one, they put their hand in the hat and picked out a name. You then grabbed the remaining piece of paper and explained everything else. "Okay, you can all open your papers now. But you CANNOT tell anyone who you got, and you have till the end of the day to get your person a gift. Now, open your papers and the timer starts as soon as we all leave this house." With that they did as you said and based on their reactions, you assumed they were all okay with who they got. Well, except for one person.
"Yous got to be kidding me, out of all people, I got him?! I ain't getting this one a gift. No way!"
By the way he reacted you could already tell who this angry mafia boss got. And to avoid any issues, you just told him he could trade if anyone was okay with it, so no one would be unhappy. "Here, take mine. I don't mind who I get." Underbite offered, which Thunderhoof very happily took. He'd take anyone except that crab bot. He looked at the new paper and grinned. "Much better"
"Alright if everyone's ready now the timer starts, so let's not waste any more time. Remember, you have till the end of the day so meet back here by 11 pm. An hour before midnight so that should be enough time for you all." You got up and walked towards the door and left, with the crew following behind. Once you all got to Crown City everyone went their separate ways to find the perfect gift for the person they got.
Steeljaw's POV
I got Fracture. Not the worst outcome. I treasure all my brothers greatly. I've noticed Fracture seems to like listening to the music in this planet. Mainly the genre "rap" or "rock" as the humans call it. Y/N would sometimes listen to music together with him so I think getting him a nice guitar would be a good idea, or some headphones. I quickly searched around the city hoping to find a place that would have what i'm looking for. Around the corner I spotted a music store. I peeked my head into the window and saw that there were several instruments being sold inside. I was quite curious so I opened the door to go inside and check the place out. It was small, but the stuff they had was nice. Not my type of thing, but if one of my comrades enjoys it then I will do what I can to make him happy. I walked around trying to look for the perfect gift to get, until I spotted an interesting black and purple electric guitar. It looked expensive, but I needed it. And I was going to get it. I grabbed the guitar and went up to the person standing behind the register. "Excuse me, how much for this very interesting guitar here?" "$200" ... Well scrap. Y/N only gave us $100 each. Oh but I wasn't giving up that easily. "Listen brother, I really need this guitar. It's for a comrade of mine. Surely you can make an exception, no?" The guy raised a brow and looked at me. "Look man, it's $200 if you don't got the money then leave." I scoffed in annoyance. Humans.. fine, guess he leaves me no other choice. I acted like I was gonna put the guitar away, but I took something out of my pocket and threw it in his direction as a distraction, and when he looked away, I took my chance and rushed out the door and sneaked away with it in my possession. Too easy.
Thunderhoofs POV
Out of all the people, of course i'd get that annoying blabbermouth. I'd rather go through another black hole than get him a gift. Thank the all spark Underbite switched papers with me and now I have Y/N. She has done a lot for us so I guess I can get her somethin' nice. I'll admit, at first I didn't give a damn about her. She would always try to talk to me and I hated it. I didn't like that she was with us all the time but now, I kind of enjoy being around her. Seeing her every day warms my spar- Eyyo what am I saying? I'm a crime boss I don't care about these squishy's. Well.. except her. Whatever i'll just focus on getting her a gift. What does she even like anyway? I ain't good with this sort of stuff. Maybe some flowers? Baking supplies? Jewelry? What if she doesn't like what I give her? I explored the area and looked at every corner but nothing caught my interest. Until I saw a pet store and that's when I remembered, Y/N loves cats. She saw a stray cat once and wouldn't let the poor thing go. She was snuggling it and talking to it as if she forgot everyone was there, watching her. She really wanted to take it home but she couldn't. I shook my head as I walked past the pet store. No, not right now. Maybe I can get her something that has cats on it instead? That might be more possible. I continued walking and found a store called "Dollar Tree." I went inside and looked around. They had a bunch of stuff everywhere. Not knowing what any of this stuff is I continued to look and try to find something she might like. Then, I saw a mug with a cat pattern on it in front of my eyes and smiled. "Eyyo I think I just found the perfect gift for her." I grabbed the mug and took it with me, but I felt like that wasn't enough and I wanted to get her more, so on the way back I spotted some human selling flowers and wanted to get her some so I got her favorite. The human looked at me and smirked. "For someone special I see. So who's the lucky girl?" I glared at him. How dare he assume something like that. "Huh? No.. it's just for a friend. Look just give me the flower." I payed for it then left. For some reason I felt weird after that human said that. What is this feeling? Why am I feeling like this? Eh, it's probably nothing. Forget about it.
Fracture's POV
The person I got was one of my own minicons Airazor. He's done a lot for me so he deserves a nice little reward. Since we've been staying with Y/N my minicons love playing earth video games so this would be the best option. I stopped by a gaming store and with the budget Y/N gave us, I purchased 2 games. Airazor loves any type of game so I picked some that might have his interest. That minicon would play all night with Divebomb if he could've. Sometimes Y/N would even have to stop the two from fighting one another because they'll assume one of them cheated to win. But, I am grateful to have them around and how loyal they are to me. They've helped me catch many bounty's and now that the war is over, this is how we live our lives on this planet.
Clampdown's POV
Thank goodness I got Divebomb. I don't think I would've survived if I got anyone else... just the thought of me getting Thunderhoof or Steeljaw scares me. I'm not even sure where to look to get Divebomb's gift. What if he doesn't like it? We're pals though, I think.. hopefully. He does play a lot of games with Airazor, maybe I can get him something like that. Yeah, a game would do. Or those big round things that go on those humans ears. I think Y/N called them headphones? They must have one for games so that's what i'm gonna get Divebomb. If I get him something nice and useful, then everyone will like me more. I looked around and searched every corner until I found a sign that says "limited headset for sale" I went inside and saw bright purple headphones. They had a small microphone attached to it as well. This must be what gaming headphones look like. "Hehe I hit the jackpot" I thought to myself. "Divebomb's gonna love this."
Underbite's POV
"Hmm, this is gonna be difficult." I said to myself. I traded my paper with Thunderhoof and now I have to get Clampdown a gift. Getting Y/N something would've been so much easier but knowing Thunderhoof's hatred for him none of us would be happy if we ruined Christmas for Y/N. She wouldn't be happy either. The kid barely sticks around and always hides like a coward. Getting him a gift is going to be a challenge. I kept thinking as I walked around the city. That's when I noticed a store that had a bunch of stuffed animals. I went inside and saw a crab shaped plushie. "I mean, he is a kid.. and it looks like his cybertronian form so maybe I should get this for him." I grabbed it and took it with me. Now to meet up with the others back at Y/N's place.
Airazor and Divebomb's POV
Divebomb and I decided to get our gifts together. He got Thunderhoof while I got Steeljaw. I wish one of us got our master instead, I bet he would've loved if we got him something for this special holiday. Thunderhoof was a crime boss back on cybertron so it was probably easy for Divebomb to get him something he'll like. As for me I wasn't really sure what to get Steeljaw. "What do you think the leader will like? I don't know what to get" I asked Divebomb. "Not to worry brother, we will find something. Let's look together." I nodded and the two of us continued searching and I noticed something that caught my attention. There was a human selling some baskets with stuff inside and I got curious so I walked over to see what they were selling. "Welcome! Would you like to purchase a gift basket?" the man asked us. "Um, what's a gift basket?" I asked. "A gift basket can hold all kinds of things. It's like a goodie bag you get at birthday party's. They can have candy, flowers, candles, anything really. They're great for gifting to people." He then took a gift basket and handed it to me that had a lot of cookies and some candy canes. "Here, why don't you have this one? On the house. Happy holidays!" "R-really? Thank you so much mister! And happy holidays!" I turned to Divebomb and showed him what was inside. "This stuffs amazing. You think the boss is gonna be happy with this?" I asked him. "Of course he would. Don't worry. Now, let's go find something for Thunderhoof then go back to meet up with everyone." I nodded and we continued our search for another gift.
Y/N's POV
"Hmm I got Underbite. Should be easy enough." I had a good idea of what he liked. Crunchy stuff. Anything crunchy made him happy. And what better gift to give him than something crunchy. I remember the mall we all went to that had the fancy chocolate place so I was really gonna go all the over there just for a gift. They had chocolate sold in a fancy box but I wanted to get him something better. After a long bus ride I finally got to the mall and browsed inside until I found the place I was looking for. Nothing caught my interest too much until I saw holiday themed chocolates so I went over to look. There was a reindeer, snowman and a bear shaped chocolate. They were quite a bit expensive, but I took them with me anyway and made my way to the register. They look too cute to eat honestly, but stuff like these make a great gift for the holidays. I could only hope everyone else wasn't having a hard time finding their gifts for people. After I finished paying I left the mall and was on my way back home to meet up with the crew.
An hour later
It was now 11 pm. An hour before midnight. You were the first to return to make sure the rest of the crew made it back safely. It didn't take long for everyone to arrive. To wait until midnight you guys just spent time together by playing games, eating snacks and overall just having fun. The minicons and Clampdown were already close to falling asleep but they tried to stay awake as best they can.
Then, midnight came around. It was time for everyone to open their gifts. But first, you wanted to do something. You grabbed a bunch of santa hats and handed them out for everyone to wear. You then stood in front of the tree to make an announcement.
"Merry Christmas everyone! It's now Christmas Day. My first Christmas spent with you guys, and I just want you all to know, that I love and appreciate every single one of you. I never thought i'd see myself hanging out with alien species from a different planet but here we are! It's been a blast, and I hope I get to spend many more holidays with you guys." The entire room got quiet and emotional when Clampdown started crying, happy that someone actually enjoyed having him around and accepted him. Then Airazor and Divebomb ran up to you and gave you a hug, and soon after all of you shared a group hug. After you had your moment everyone sat in a circle and it was time for the secret santa to come to an end.
"Okay, so who wants to go first?" You asked. Steeljaw, being the leader of the crew, offered to give his gift first, so he walked up to Fracture and gave him his present.
"I know you like listening to the music on this planet, so I got you a little something." He handed over the gift to Fracture and he slowly opened to gift, which revealed a nice black and purple electric guitar. "Wow, thanks Steeljaw. How'd you get your hands on something like this?" "Oh, I had my ways.." After he said that silence filled the room and it got quiet. "You did something didn't you?" "I negotiated with the seller. I didn't really do anything." You could tell that he was probably lying but you decided to let it go for now.
After Fracture received his gift it was now his turn so he got his present and gave it to his minicon Airazor, which he was shocked about. "For me?" Fracture nodded and patted his head. "You've always been a loyal one to me. You deserve this." And with that Airazor excitedly opened up his gift where he found some video games to play. "Master, you shouldn't have. Thank you!" He gave Fracture a hug and smiled.
The gift giving went on and on and everyone was pretty happy with their gifts. Steeljaw got a gift basket, Thunderhoof received a nice suit and black sunglasses from Divebomb so he could dress like a mafia boss whenever he wanted, and Clampdown got a crab plushie from Underbite which moved him to tears because he thought he didn't deserve anything. It was now just me and Thunderhoof that had to give our gifts.
"Yous can go first."
"Alright. My gift is for Underbite so here you go buddy." You got out a small bag and gave it to him. Thankfully the chocolate didn't melt when he opened up his gift, and he was super happy with what he got. "Awesome, and it's crunchy. Thanks Y/N!" "Heh, you're welcome. Don't eat all of it right away though."
And now, Thunderhoof was the last person who had to give their gift
"Here Y/N, I got this for ya. I didn't really know what to get ya so hope yous like it."
"Oh, thanks Thunderhoof." You took the gift gently and opened it up. Inside was a mug that had a cat face on it. But that wasn't all, there was also a flower inside, your favorite flower. You would hope that no one noticed, but your face was turning red. Without a second thought you hugged him. "I love it. Thank you so much." He hugged you back. "I knew yous would like it."
After everyone received their gifts it was now almost 1 am in the morning, which meant that it was probably a good time for you all to sleep and get some rest. You weren't sure what you were gonna do for Christmas Day, you never really planned that part out, but as long as you got to spend time with your favorite cons, you didn't mind what you would do.
Just before you went to bed though, your phone lit up and you got a message. It was from Miko. You looked at the message and saw that she was planning on having a Christmas party with the autobots and wanted you and the crew to come.
