I am going to kill myself if he says one more thing
"I am so sorry, but it is what it is. We just need to keep you here for one more day under observation" The doctor says
"I think you said that 2 days ago too" I whisper while Elias chuckles, making me glare at him.
The doctor smiles and walks out, "I'm killing myself" I mumble
"Want a knife?" Elias smirks, making me grab a pillow and whip it at him.
"Okay so, I was thinking- " Elias gets cut off when I say "Omg, you need a brain to think but you don't have that"
Glaring at me he continues "Wanna hear it or no"
"No"
"Fine then"
"..."
"I was thinking"
"No one asked"
"Shut up"
"I didn't even say anything?"
"You just did"
"Okay"
"Listen, you wanna go out" He questions making my jaw drop
"Go out?" I asked making him nod
"Like a date?" I question as his eyes widen
"Uhm, gross no! Not a date" He says looking away but before I could say anything I was cut off by Bruno
"Date? Alora you're going on a date?!?!?!" He yells
"Who's going on a date?" Marco questions walking in
"Someone's going on a date" Vincenzo askes
"There's a date?" Lorenzo askes as I facepalm
"Who's a date" Alex questions
"What?" Luca askes
"Alora's going on a date guys" Bruno clarifies
"WHAT" they yell making me shut my ears
"No your not" Alex declares making me roll my eyes
"Who's taking you anyway" They ask looking at Elias making him gulp
"Nope, not happening" Luca says "It's too dangerous. Your not leaving the hospital"
I groan leaning my head back
"Sorry darling" Vincenzo says placing a kiss on my head
I sigh as they bring food and start talking

"Soo" Elias says awkwardly
"Let's go" I whisper getting off the bed
"You crazy, they will have my head if they find that your not here" Elias whisper yells checking out the door
"We'll make it back in time" I say picking up clothes and walking towards the washroom
"What if we don't?" He asks following me
"Then we will be dead" I say slamming the washroom door on his face
After changing, I walk out to Elias pacing nervously
"Seriously Alora, I think it's a bad idea. What if something happens to you?" he askes worriedly
"That's why I'm taking you with me Elias" I reassure him "I'm tired of sitting here like a doll as they wait for me to break, nothing is gonna happen. I'm okay" I whisper looking at him
Sighing he nods holding his hand out for me he says "Come, let's go"
Staring at his hand I smile, taking it he tugs my hand as we slowly run out the room to avoid any witnesses
I don't think I've ever felt so free
As we make it to the car we both start laughing while looking at each other, if the word 'Thank you' had a scene it would surely be this.
Quickly I sit inside as Elias starts driving. I turn up the radio as he laughs
Rolling my window down, I look up and see the birds.
So free! That was my thought while starting a new chapter in my life but now I look to see the birds I see myself
Finally free!
"You like birds" Elias says looking at me
"Their free, kind of makes me jealous" I answer looking at him
He chuckles, "I think we're just bound by many things, love, boundaries, relationships, society that when we get some moments of freedom we let them go because it looks foreign to us" He says looking at the road
Smiling I look at him
"In moments like these your not much of a jerk" I say making him laugh
"Should have recorded that, Alora Rome's first compliment, and it's to the person she hates the most" He says chuckling
In the last couple of days that I spent with him, it made me realize that I don't hate him anymore but I do dislike him very much still. Maybe?
"Hmm, you should get a medal" I tease back laughing
"Yeah!"
"So, where are you taking me, kidnapper?" I laugh while asking him
"Hm, I don't know maybe to a farm cause you know your a chick" he says as I look at him weirdly
"That was so gross, way to ruin the mood!" I laugh making a disgusted face.
"Made you laugh though" He smirked
"Where are we going" I asked
"Are you hungry?" He asked avoiding my question
"A little"
"Let's go eat first" He asking making a turn while I watch in amusement
"What do you want to eat?" He asks as we pull up to a restaurant, a very fancy restaurant.
"I don't know, I'll choose when we go inside" I answer opening the car door
After exiting the car, we walk inside, which happens to be even more fancier
"Hello Sir" A guy greets Elias
"Come" Elias grabs my hand stopping me from gawking the place more
He guides me to a private room and pulls out the chair for me
"Acting like a gentleman" I smile making him laugh
As we both sit a waiter comes and places the menu in front of us, looking over the food I think I almost have a heart attack seeing the prices
"What happened, you look like you're going to pass out any second?" Elias questioned looking at me
"Have you seen the prices" I whisper yell
"No, why?"
"They are obviously robbing us" I place the menu down "It's so expensive, I can make this at home for like 5 dollars and it would still taste better" I frown looking up to see Elias staring at me with amusement
"Don't worry, eat what you want. I'm paying" He chuckles as I look back at the menu
A waiter comes to take our order
"Um...I would like pasta"
"What kind Miss?" He asks as I shrug
"Would you like Pappardelle al cinghiale, Pasta carbonara, Tortelli, Agnolotti, Trofie al pesto, Pasta alla Norma. There are a lot more as well" He says and I stare at him like he just spoke gibberish
Elias stands up chuckling and comes behind me, placing his hands beside my head trapping me. I look at his rings with such interest, making him laugh again. Why is he laughing so much today?
"Which one would you like?" He asked softly leaning down
"I think they're trying to kill us with this many options" I say looking back at him but I pause as I notice how close we were.
I look back and clear my throat as Elias backs up as he orders something for the both of us, I couldn't help but think about what happened.
Would dad be angry if he finds out that I left?
I haven't seen him angry, I just realize that I don't know what his anger is like.
"You look lost" Elias says as I look to see the food was already served. "Try it" he smiles as I take a bite
"It's good!" I say
"Enjoy!" He lifts his fork as if signaling 'cheers' making me laugh

"So, where are we going now?" I question but Elias seems to be focused on the road
"Surprise" He says
"I don't like surprises" I say back
He looks at me and smirks while whispering "I know"
I lean my head back against the headrest and close my eyes.

"Wake up!" I hear a rat screech
What?
"Alora!"
"What do you want" I yawn my eyes still closed
"GET UP" He yells
"SHUT UP" I yell back
"Alora" he says shaking me and I throw my hand somewhere blindly but I think I hit him
"OW!"
Ignoring it I turn my head and sleep again

I slowly open my eyes while yawning. Sitting up I stretch a bit. Looking around I realize I'm not in the hospital but still in the car
"Your up"
I turn to see Elias turning off his phone.
"Are we there?" I asked looking outside to see it was almost night
"We have been here from an hour"
"Why didn't you wake me up?" I asked
"I didn't want to wake you up, you looked like you were at peace but I did wake you up once and you slapped me" He says giving me a tight lipped smile
"Oh.." I look down trying not to laugh
"Come on" I follow him out the car and see we are at a hill but the sight in front of us makes me gasp, we had a clear view of the sun set.
Walking forward, I smiled
"It's beautiful" I whisper looking at Elias who was looking at me and whispered "Yes, very beautiful"
We stand there not sure for how long, but we felt at peace. That peace was interrupted by Elias's phone ringing
"Hello, yeah! oh" He hangs up looking a little panicked
"What happened?"
"Uh, your check up-" I cut him off
"Yeah they are at 4:30"
"It's um.. 4:50" He informs
