- Hearing loud cussing my eyes fluttered open before I looked over at Yasir holding his phone to his mouth. "WHAT THE FUCK YOU MEAN HE GONE BRU?" He yelled loudly.
I yawned tiredly rubbing my eyes before getting out of bed, I walked over to him wrapping my arms around his waist. "What's going on baby?" I rasped rubbing his back gently.
"Man fuck!" He threw the phone down in anger. "He gone bae- that killed him fool" He spoke lowly with tears flowing.
"Who baby? I need you to calm down papa" I rubbed his tears as he looked at me. "BK- they got BK man they got him he was the only person who had my back beside dude man" He cried
I shook my head pulling him into a hug. I looked up placing a kiss on his lips before rubbing his back. "Come on baby come sit on the bed and calm down" I sighed
"How they take him away from me man"
"I know, I'm sorry baby just lay down let me shower and we can go get breakfast and book a flight back to Atlanta..." I spoke
"Fuck" He mumbled shaking his head, I watched as he laid down running a hand on his face. "I love you..." I spoke
"I love you too man" he rubbed a hand down his face; I walked inside the bathroom turning on the hot water before undressing myself.
"Alexa play Body for Body by Rylo" I spoke. "Now playing body for body by Rylo on Apple Music" The voice spoke.
I grabbed my phone from the sink counter seeing I had a message from my mom making me smile. I liked the message before clicking out the chat.

I stepped inside the shower letting the hot water relax my muscles, I relaxed myself sighing I don't know why my body was so tensed it happened with every pregnancy .
"Shit" I groaned stretching my muscles.
- Thirty Minutes Later- I stepped out the shower wrapping my robe around my body before walking back inside the bedroom not spotting Yasir.
I took the time to walk inside of our closet, I typed in the code to safe letting it pop open I grabbed three stacks before adding it to the white chest.
Walking out the closet I grabbed undergarments slipping them on before putting on a one piece body suit.
Soon enough Yasir walked in with Yara on his side making the biggest smile appear on my face, nothing made me more happy than seeing my baby I swear she was my main source of happiness.
"Good-morning princess!" I smiled excitedly, Yara ran towards me making me take her into a hold. "hi mommy" She smiled
"You look cute girl" I spoke fixing her outfit, Yasir had dressed her in a kappa sweatsuit outfit with her hair in a curly ponytail.
"Thank"
"You welcome baby, give daddy kisses" I spoke, Yara walked over to Yasir lifting her arms up making him pick her up.
"Come on" I spoke grabbing the car keys to the Durango, we made one way out the master bedroom going down the steps.
I could tell today was going to be a quiet day for Yasir, he was hurt and was trying to mask it for Yara's sake but I could tell he wanted to break down.
I didn't feel any type of way for him, I know how it felt to lose someone but for some reason I couldn't sympathize with him.
"I love you" I spoke looking over at him. "I love you too" He responded
We made it outside letting the door lock behind us, I unlocked the Durango grabbing Yara placing her in the backseat in her car seat carefully before going inside the drivers side.
Glancing over Yasir he leaned his head on the window quietly, I grabbed my phone playing body for body by Rylo on the Bluetooth before pulling out.

I nodded my head along to the music before pulling out of the driveway, I made my way towards the local breakfast spot.
Yasir placed a hand on my thigh throwing another one over his face. "Baby, look at me" I spoke .
He removed his arms looking at me with his red eyes from him crying. "I love you baby, be strong" I rubbed his chin gently
"I love you too" He mumbled
It didn't take long for me to pull into the breakfast spot, I killed the engine getting out along with Yasir before I got Yara from the backseat.
"So hungry" She mumbled making me laugh, Yasir held the door open letting us walk inside. "Good morning, table for three" I smiled at the host
"Okay, did you need a high chair?"
"Please if it's not a problem" I nodded, she grabbed a high chair guiding us to a table in the back. "Okay, your table is here your server should be out shortly boo!" The host smiled
"Thank you"
I yelled Yara in the seat before sliding In the booth infront of Yasir, I just stared at him as he held his face in his hands . "Baby" I spoke
"Hm?"
"When you wanna go back to Atlanta ?" I questioned looking at him. "I spoke to his daughter, she say they gone plan out the funeral through out the week so probably next two weeks" He shrugged
"Do they know who did it yet?"
"Nawl, robbery gone wrong"
"I'm sorry love..." I frowned looking at his eyes begin to glisten, he simply nodded covering his face again. "Dada" Yara called out making him look over.
"Yes ma'am?"
"Okay?" She looked at him, he nodded. "I'm alright, come here" He spoke unbuckling the buckles on the high chair.
Once he had her out he sat her on the side of him. "I love you li' one, forever and always I won't ever leave yo' side alright? I can't wait to watch you grow up you know you my favorite person" He expressed
I smiled, my baby was so loved and she knew it too. "Love too" She responded leaning her head on his arm.
As of now I didn't know how I felt about Yasir, I loved him genuinely but I didn't trust him he had full capability to do anything to me at any minute knowing what he did for that money I knew he'd do anything for the right price; I definitely wasn't scared of him but I kept having the thoughts that he'd harm me or even worse kill me...
Now I fully wanted to put what happened behind me and just be a happy family with Yasir but it was hard as fuck to not overthink it.
"Goodmorning I'm Bailey so sorry it took so long but I'll be your waitress this morning can I start you guys off with drinks?"
"Orange juice"
"Water and a sprite"
"Apple"
"Show her the kids menu for me bae" I spoke as I flipped through the pages of the menu, we had f really gotten to explore California we only had been to a few places due to my bad pregnancy sickness.
"I love you ma" Yasir looked at me, I smiled at him. "I love you more baby"

My eyes looked at the black & white picture as I laid on the doctor'd bed with Yara & Yasir sitting in the chairs, this was my second appointment for the baby & thank God everything was healthy.
"So with your pregnancy before this what exactly happened?" Dr.Lopez questioned typing away on the computer .
"Um, I was six months went into early labor I had to get an emergency c-section because my son stopped breathing he ended up being stillborn he was receiving enough oxygen and with my stressing it was much worst for him" I explained
"I'm sorry about that l, we have to make sure you're stress free this pregnancy I want you to start with some yoga classes get that baby some oxygen assure it then we have to get away from all the streets I also want you on weekly appointments if that's not a problem you know first and third trimester is the worst" He spoke
I nodded. "That sounds good I'm willing to do anything to make sure this pregnancy goes by smooth as possible I don't want nothing to go wrong"
"We'll make sure, we're all in this together"
"Thank you Dr. Lopez" I smiled
My eyes traveled over to Yasir who tapped away on his phone as Yara kept her eyes on me making me laugh. "What's wrong pretty?" I asked her
"Nothing, I'm happy" She smiled, and that's really all that mattered to me. "I'm glad, you're the only person that matters to me" I smiled back
"Damn cuh" Yasir held a hand over his heart . "You know I love you"
"It's so refreshing to see a happy relationship, I wish y'all the best but Yuri I will see you guys here next week" Dr. Lopez said
" it sounds good, come on y'all"
We all got up making our way out of the room , we made our way straight to the exit heading towards the Durango.
"Get ice cream mama?" Yara questioned . "Yes ma'am, we can"
Once we made it to the Durango I got in the driver's side letting Yasir put Yara in the seat, he got her in the seat before getting in the passenger seat.
Loud ringing could be heard, I looked at Yasir's phone seeing it was a unknown number he slid the green over placing it on speaker. "Wassup" He spoke
"Yo' Patna? Von he gone bitch you hiding I promise we gone hit everybody until we get our target and BK? you know that wasn't no robbery nigga come back to the city we ain't sparing shit" The deep voice spoke
I looked back at Yara who was in her own world, Yasir sighed loudly before stepping out the car slamming the door.
I tuned everything out getting on my phone texting my mother, I honestly couldn't wait to go back home to her I just wanted to be under my mother more than anything.
"Do you like the new house baby?" I looked bs l at Yara. "Yes, don't move again" She spoke making me laugh.
"We won't, not soon anyway"
I looked over at Yasir who was walking towards the car, he got inside with a mug slamming the door before throwing his face in his hands.
"Stop slamming the door you know she get scared easy..." I looked over at him. "My fault, we needa hit the road and go to Atlanta in the next hour though" He sighed
"Why? What happened?" I looked at him. "Man- Von gone"
"Yasir I can't just up and leave baby I'm on bed rest I need to plan it out plus I've been sick as hell this week.."
"And that's Ight, I'll take one of the cars and go by myself Ian' never tripping" He shrugged. "Are you sure? We can't wait until tomorrow atlesst?"
"Man fuck a tomorrow, I'm leaving today go or don't ian' fucking tripping my nigga"
Once again I looked back at Yara seeing she was not paying attention, deciding not to say anything back I kept my silence driving to the house.
-Twenty Minutes Later- I watched Yasir packed his suit case walking around the room. "I just don't understand why you're taking your anger out of me Yasir I didn't do anything.." I tilted my head
For some reason Yasir was being so damn mean to me, yelling at me over any little question just carrying an attitude when all I was trying to do was help him.
"Cuh- yo fucking daddy people doing this" He looked at me. "My people gone cause they on dirt cuh!"
I chuckled shaking my head. "No Yasir, your people gone because you wanted to play stupid fucking games you killed my dad for money and you knew they weren't going to take that lightly it's your fault they're killing them Yasir but I don't have shit to do with that Yasir I didn't tell them to do any of that if anything I've been trying to fucking protect you!" I yelled standing up.
"Man whatever Yuri two of my fucking people gone cause they on dick" He shook his head. "You knew what you were getting yourself into Yasir"
Ignoring him I got under the covers in my bed, I couldn't continue to fight with him that wasn't going to do anything but stress my baby out.
I wanted my pregnancy to go smooth as possible and fucking with Yasir while he wasn't upset that wasn't going to be possible I just had to let him be when he was upset.
"I'm out" He spoke, I watched him grab the keys before leaving out the bedroom.
Once I heard the alarm system notifying me that he left I got out of bed heading inside the closet, I opened his safe grabbing six stacks leaving the rest; I opened the white chest seeing the stacks of money I had been collecting I dumped it all out.
Turning on the money counter I put the stacks in letting it run it's course as I grabbed my phone, I tapped on the missed call waiting for an answer.
"This is Ms.Beverly how may I help you?" The woman spoke. "Good afternoon, this is Ms.White I had a miss call"
"Oh yes, Good afternoon yuri I was calling about your lease agreement I sent it over in the mail if you can get that signed and sent over to me so we can start with the moving process'l She spoke
"I'll sign it now. Is it as big as it looks in the pictures?" I questioned grabbing my laptop. "Yes ma'am, five bedrooms three and a half bathroom two living rooms the movie room and the backyard" She responded
"Yes, I'm so excited for this transition!" I spoke excitedly, I couldn't wait until I gave Yara & my baby the life she deserved right now her life was alright but I could give her mom & I wanted to so I was going to do that.
All this toxic stuff she didn't deserve, she was innocent and if I knew this how it was going to be I probably would've waited.
I don't regret my baby at all I just wish it could've been under better circumstances.
"Okay.. I just signed it!" I spoke looking at the 'Congratulations' screen on my laptop.
"Wooo! Girl I wish you could pop a bottle I'm so happy for you may you receive many blessing and happiness I'll see you when you arrive!
"Thank you so much... for everything Ms.Beverly"
