I was exhausted from the shoot
I recently got an offer from Jacquemus to be a model for their latest campaign
And I accepted it right away,
I mean it was my first time getting an offer from such a big brand, I couldn't say no
Today was day one for the shoot and it was tiring,
There were so many different looks, so many different setups
But the end result was all worth it
All I needed right now was a cup of coffee
So that's where I am headed to get
There is a Cafe around here so I ask the driver to park the car outside
I have around an hour,
Because I have to go back to the studio as I have a meeting regarding some of my upcoming shoots
I waked inside noticing the place,
This Cafe seems to be doing quite well as there all alot of people in here
The ambience gives homey vibes, which I completely adore
I go to the counter to place my order
There was a girl talking orders
I cannot see her face as she is facing the other side,
But from her back it looks like I have seen her before
She then turns around to take my order
"Hi what can I get- Jennie unnie" it was Lisa
"Oh hey Lisa, I didn't knew you work here
It's really good to see you" I say smiling, I actually had no idea that this is the cafe she works at
She happily returns the smile back "It's good to see you too unnie,
So tell me what should I get for you ?"
"Just a tall iced coffee and that cake looks good, can I get a slice of that too" I say eying the lemon cake through the glass
"Comming right up" she said taking my order
I make my payment and leave a good amount in the tip jar
"Unnie why don't you go and take a table, I'll bring you your order" she said
"Thanks but don't you have to take more orders ?"
"No, you are the last person,
My shift is over"
"That's great,
So why don't you come and join me
We can chat,
Only if you're free ofcourse" I say, I hope she says yes
I would love to talk to her
"Sure unnie
I'd love that" she said looking genuinely happy
I take one of the empty tables
After about five minutes Lisa comes with my order
She places my order at table and takes a seat at front of me
"So how come you are here today unnie ?" She asked
"Just got finished with shoot and really needed some caffeine,
This Cafe is near the studio so came here"
"Oh, what were you shooting for ?"
"Just a shoot for new collection of Jacquemus"
"Wow, sounds interesting" Lisa
"And extremely tiring too" I say taking a bite from my lemon cake,
It tastes really good
I take some more cake in the spoon and ask Lisa to open her mouth, she seems a bit hesitant
But then opened her mouth and I feed her some cake
"Thank you unnie"
"I think I will have to make this my go to Cafe,
Specifically when I get to meet you" I say
"I'd love that,
But I'll be working here only for only one more week"
"Oh, but why ?" I asked being curious
"I just recently finished college and have been looking for a more stable job
And after giving numerous interviews and sending many job applications I finally got a job
Starting from next week,
I will be working at a nice marketing firm as a receptionist" she said happily
"That's great Lisa, I'm really happy for you" I say, I'm honestly really happy that she got a nice job
"But Lisa, did you consider working at the Kim Enterprise ?"
"Unnie the thing is that,
You know that Jungkook and I
We both belong from really different families
You guys are literally billionaires whereas I am not that well off financially,
Ever since we started dating
Jungkook has always tried to help me with money,
But I always refused,
He said that I don't need to work a this Cafe for money and that he will pay for my college,
But I didn't like that
It was soo much money and I possibly couldn't accept that
I know that every time I refused for his help,
It made him feel said
He always buys me expensive stuff,
Some of the things cost more than what I make in an entire year
So if I would've applied for job in Kim Enterprise,
I would get it easily
But I wanted to work hard to get myself a job,
I don't want anyone to say that, She got this job because of her rich boyfriend
And maybe you already know that Mrs Kim doesn't like me too much" she said
I can see her eyes getting teary
I placed my hand over her's
"You know what,
I am proud of you" I say as she looks up at me
I wiped her tears away
"Lisa you are a really smart and independent woman,
There is nothing for you to be sad about
And I bet that Jungkook I super proud of you"
"He said that he really is" she is smiling,
Probably by thinking of him
"See I told you" I say with a wink
Then my phone rings
I check the caller ID, it was Alice
Then I look at the time
"Lisa I have to go now,
I have a meeting and there are just fifteen minutes left for it to start" I say standing up
She also stands up and I give her a tight hug

The meeting took really long and I had to try on some clothes for an other shoot which also took extremely long,
Saying that I am tired is an under statement right now
So right now it is 10:30 pm when I walk inside the house
I see everyone sitting in living room,
Taehyung is also sitting here
"Hey" I greet everyone with a tiringly
"Oh hey Jennie, you are looking tired
How did your shoot go ?" mom
"It was alright" I said sitting next to Jungkook, while avoiding to make any kind of eye contact with Taehyung
And for a fact I know that he is looking at me
"Did you have dinner ?" Mom asked as I replied with a nod, after getting done with my schedule I grabbed dinner with Alice
"I think I will be going to sleep now" she said and went to her room,
Dad also left after some time
"Guess what" I said turning to look at Jungkook
"What?" He said
"I asked you to guess, duh" I say while resting my head at his shoulder and closing my eyes sheepishly
"Well how am I supposed to know what are you talking about out of the million things that are probably going inside your head" He said chuckling
"I met your fiance" my eyes were still closed
"Wait you met Lisa,
How come ?" He asked sounding a bit surprised
"I wanted to get coffee and the cafe I went to was the one where she works at,
Her shift had just ended so we talked alot
She also told me about her new job" I said finally opening my eyes,
My eyes travel to Taehyung
He doesn't look much happy, probably seeing me talking with Jungkook
But who cares
"She worked really hard for that job" he said smiling
"You are really lucky to have her,
And you better take care of her at all cost"
"Wait are you still with Lisa ?" Nancy said jumping in our conversation
"Yes, and ?" Jungkook said crossing his arms and giving her a stern look
"Seriously what do you even see in her,
She is really nothing compared to you
I think you should find someone who suits you better" ok this bitch did not just say that
Jungkook clenched his fists and stood up angrily "Yo-" he was about to say something but was cut off by Taehyung,
Who has been sitting quietly and observing everything
"Did anyone here ask you what you think about,
I don't fucking think so
So wouldn't it be better if you keep your shit with yourself
And never speak anything against my family, including Lisa
Now if you have embarrassed yourself enough why don't you get the fuck back to your room"
Unknowingly a smile formed on my face after hearing him say this
"Tae-" Nancy
"Can't you just shut up and get lost already" Jungkook said,
He was still angry
But I could see that he also felt better after seeing Taehyung take Lisa's side
Maybe Taehyung isn't even that bad
So this was end of this chapter
