"I choose you Umbreon"
Then her Umbreon appeared.
"Alright Dachsbun, let's go"
"Ruff"
"Umbreon, use swift"
It blasted it's swift attack towards Dachsbun.
"Dachsbun, protect"
She made a protected shield and the swift couldn't get through.
"Dachsbun, disarming voice"
She blasted her attack.
"Umbreon dodge it"
It jumped out of the way and was in the air.
"Now, use bite"
To my surprise, it was really fast and it bit Dachsbun hard.
"Dachsbun, are you okay?"
"Ruff" Dachsbun nodded.
"Now, shadow ball"
It blasted a big shadow ball and it was flying towards Dachsbun.
"Dachsbun, use dazzling gleam"
She blasted her attack and the shadow ball was cancelled out and the attack managed to hit Umbreon.
"Way a go Dachsbun" I cheered.
"Ruff"
"Umbreon, dark pulse"
It blasted it's dark pulse attack.
"Dachsbun, dodge it"
She got out of the way.
"Now, tackle attack"
She dashed towards Umbreon and tackled it right on it's side.
"Umbreon, body slam"
It jumped onto Dachsbun and slammed it's body on top of her.
"Dachsbun, dazzling gleam"
Her attack caused Umbreon to get tossed into the air and caused it to yelp as well since dark types are weak against fairy types.
"Now, disarming voice"
She blasted her disarming voice and Umbreon was down.
"Umbreon is unable to battle, Dachsbun wins" Clive announced.
"Great job Dachsbun" I grinned.
"Ruff" Dachsbun squealed in happiness.
"Umbreon, return"
After it went back into it's pokeball, she took out another one.
"Flareon, let's go"
"Dachsbun, return"
After she went back into her pokeball, I took out Quaquaval's pokeball.
"Quaquaval, you're up next"
"Quack"
"Flareon, fire fang"
It's teeth started to fire up and it launched itself towards Quaquaval.
"Quaquaval, water gun"
He blasted his water gun attack and it caused the Flareon to be pushed back and took some damage as well.
"Now, hydro pump"
He blasted his hydro pump attack.
"Flareon, dodge it by using dig"
It dug itself into the ground and that took us by surprise. Where is Flareon gonna come out from?"
To my shock, it came out from under Quaquaval's feet and it caused him to be thrown into the air.
"Now, use swift"
It blasted it's swift attack towards Quaquaval and it caused him to fall hard to the ground.
"Quaquaval, are you okay?" I ask worryingly.
"Quack" Quaquaval got right back up.
"Alright Flareon, use fire spin"
It spun around with flame swirling around it and was heading towards Quaquaval.
"Quaquaval, rain dance"
He blasted some power towards the sky and it started to rain and that caused some water puddles to appear on the ground and Flareon accidentally stepped in one and slipped and that caused it's fire spin attack to get cancelled.
"Alright, water pledge"
Sprouts of water came out from the ground and Flareon got caught in one of them and fell straight to the ground and was defeated.
"Flareon is unable to battle, Quaquaval wins"
"Quaquaval, awesome job" I say proudly.
"Quack"
"Flareon, return"
After going back into it's pokeball, she took out her third one.
"Leafeon, it's your turn"
It came out and looked like it was ready to battle.
"Alright Quaquaval, return"
After going back into his pokeball, I took out Skeledirge's pokeball.
"Skeledirge, come on out"
"Croc"
"Leafeon, use x scissor"
It ran towards Skeledirge and used it's attack on him.
"Skeledirge, use flamethrower"
He blasted his flamethrower attack towards Leafeon.
"Leafeon, protect"
It made a protected shield and the flamethrower couldn't get through.
"Leafeon, use energy ball"
It blasted a big energy ball towards Skeledirge.
"Skeledirge, fire blast on the energy ball"
He blasted his fire blast attack at the energy ball and they both collided and cancelled out.
"Use magical leaf"
Leafeon blasted some powerful leafs towards Skeledirge.
"Skeledirge, flamethrower now"
He blew out his flamethrower towards the magical leaf attack and they all burnt.
"Now, torch song"
After doing that attack and made a hit on Leafeon, it was finally down.
"Leafeon is unable to battle, Skeledirge wins"
"Alright Skeledirge, you did it" I cheered.
"Leafeon, return"
After going back into it's pokeball, Penny took out another pokeball.
"Jolteon, I choose you"
"Skeledirge, return"
After he went back into his pokeball, I took out Lucario's.
"Lucario, come on out"
"Rar"
"Jolteon, thunderbolt"
It blasted some electricity towards Lucario.
"Lucario, dodge it"
He jumped out of the way.
"Now, use aura sphere"
He blasted his attack and it landed on Jolteon, but it was still up.
"Aura sphere again"
He got ready to do it again.
"Jolteon, tackle attack"
It dashed towards Lucario and wow it was really fast and it tackled him right in the stomach.
"Good, now use thunder fang"
It's teeth got some electric in them and it bit Lucario and that caused him to yelp.
"Lucario, spin around while Jolteon is holding onto you"
He did exactly that and that caused the Jolteon to get dizzy and to lose it's grip so it was tossed into the air.
"Alright, use stone edge"
He hit his fist on the ground and big rocks popped out from the ground and one of the them managed to hit Jolteon and it landed hard on to the ground, but it managed to get up but looked weak.
"Awesome job Lucario"
"Rar"
"Jolteon, thunderbolt"
It blasted it's thunderbolt attack again.
"Lucario, protect"
He made a protected shield and the thunderbolt couldn't get through.
"Alright, let's finish this up with aura sphere"
After blasting the attack, Jolteon was finally down.
"Jolteon is unable to battle, Lucario wins"
"Great job Lucario"
"Rar" Lucario grinned.
"Jolteon, return"
After it went back into it's pokeball, Penny took out her fifth pokeball.
"I choose you, Vaporeon"
Then it came out.
"Lucario, return"
After he went back into his pokeball, I took out Meowscarada's pokeball.
"Meowscarada, it's your turn"
"Meow"
"Vaporeon, use water gun"
It blasted it's water gun attack towards Meowscarada.
"Meowscarada, dodge it"
She jumped over it and landed back onto the ground.
"Use flower trick"
She made a bouquet of flowers and they were falling down towards Vaporeon.
"Vaporeon, dodge it"
It got out of the way.
"Now, use muddy water"
It made muddy water and it hit Meowscarada.
"Meowscarada!"
To our surprise, she jumped out of the muddy water and got out of it.
"Alright Meowscarada, use magical leaf"
She blasted some powerful magical leafs towards Vaporeon.
"Vaporeon, use blizzard"
It blew out some snow and it froze the magical leafs.
"Now, use ice beam"
It blasted it's ice beam towards Meowscarada and hit her, it caused her to yelp a little but she was still up.
"Alright Meowscarada, use leaf storm"
She made a leaf storm and it caused Vaporeon to take damage and a lot since water types are weak against grass types.
"Now, flower trick"
She made a bouquet of flowers, and it landed on Vaporeon and it was finally down.
"Vaporeon is unable to battle, Meowscarada wins"
"Great job Meowscarada, that was amazing"
"Meow" Meowscarada smiled big.
"Vaporeon, return"
After going back into it's pokeball, she took out her last one.
"Sylveon, it's up to you"
After it came out, it made me think about the baby Eevee that me and my team helped, I wonder how she's doing? And how is her family doing? I hope they're doing okay.
"Alright Meowscarada, return"
After going back into her pokeball, I took my partner's pokeball.
"Espeon, it's your turn"
"Esp"
Penny terrastalized her Sylveon and I terrastalized Espeon as well.
"Sylveon, use draining kiss"
"Espeon, dodge it"
When Sylveon attacked, Espeon managed to get away from it.
"Alright, use psybeam"
Espeon blasted her psybeam attack and it hit Sylveon but it was still up.
"Sylveon, use disarming voice"
"Espeon, protect"
They both did their attacks and the disarming voice couldn't get Espeon.
"Espeon, shadow ball"
She made a shadow ball and blasted it towards Sylveon.
"Sylveon, moonblast"
Both their attacks collided and to my shock, moonblast didn't get cancelled and it hit Espeon.
"Espeon, are you okay?" I ask worryingly.
"Esp" Espeon nodded.
"Moonblast again"
It got ready to attack again.
"Espeon, hang on until I say now"
"Esp"
After the moonblast was ready, it was time to attack.
"Espeon, use psybeam on the moonblast"
She blasted her psybeam towards the moonblast and it cancelled out and that took Penny and Sylveon by surprise.
"Now, tackle attack"
She tackled Sylveon and it rolled on the ground, but was still up.
"Sylveon, draining kiss"
It did it's attack and before it could touch Espeon, she got out of the way.
"Alright, now use shadow ball"
She made a real big shadow ball and it hit Sylveon and it was finally down.
"Sylveon is unable to battle, Espeon wins which means the victory goes to Juliana"
A big smile grew on my face and I ran towards Espeon.
"Espeon, we did it we did it" I cheered while hugging her.
"Esp" Espeon squealed in excitement.
"I'm so proud of you Espeon and to the rest of the team as well" I say proudly.
"It's finally over"
We both turned to Penny who had a serious expression on her face, but it turned into a deep thought expression. She then told us about her last chat with the team star bosses.
"Thanks for everything Juliana, and you too Clive" Penny says in sincere.
"I'm glad I could see this through the end" says Clive.
"Me too" I smiled.
"I guess this is it for me and team star" Penny says sadly, but was smiling a little.
"Hold that thought Penny, I'd like to check something with you first"
She looked at him in confusion.
"Check what?" Penny questioned.
"Why did you want this operation starfall if you're the big boss of team star?" Clive asks in curiosity.
"You know I was wondering that too"
"Wasn't there any other way to handle this?"
"I tried telling the bosses that we were done once, but they still didn't quit" Penny explained.
"Why not simply order them to?" Clive asks in confusion.
"Yeah, you're the big boss after all" I reminded.
"Our code states that no one in the team has the right to order people around, I could ask them all to do stuff, but I could never order them"
"So they really take the code very serious huh?"
"Yes, that's why I knew I could use it to force team star to disband"
After putting the pieces together, it's starting to make more sense now.
"And that's because the bosses would do anything that the code required of them, even if they have to leave the team?"
"Yes, and according to the code, they had to accept my challenge made to them"
"Now I get it"
"Cassiopeia, or should I say Penny, answer me this one question, what do team star mean to you?"
"They're not only my friends, but...they're my greatest treasure" Penny answered with a soft smile.
I was surprised, so all the bosses of team star are Penny's friends, even though they haven't met in person, she still thinks of them as her greatest treasure, that is so sweet.
Then Clive nodded.
"Splendid, thank you for apprising me of the situation miss Penny"
Her eyes widen after he said that, I think I know what this means.
"Huh?"
"Now young lady, there's something I should discuss with you" Clive walked closer to Penny.
"Uh...Clive, will you please stop with the old geezer act, you're creeping me out" Penny stuttered a little.
"Well then, before we talk further, allow me to reveal my own identity"
"Huh, what do you mean?" Penny asks in confusion.
When Mr Clavell removed his costume just like how did when he revealed his identity to me, Penny looked shocked.
"Director Clavell?!" Penny gasped.
"Just like how Cassiopeia was your disguise, the Clive boy was mine" Mr Clavell answered in a serious tone.
"But...why?" Penny asks in a speechless tone.
"I needed a way to talk to team star on equal terms"
"I see, but oh my Arceus, I can't believe it was you all this time"
"I was shocked to find that out to Penny, he even tricked me about being Cassiopeia and we battled, but after defeating him, he lied about being Cassiopeia" I explained with a chuckle.
"Whoa, now I know how you must've of felt when I did that to you, again I'm really sorry Juliana" Penny apologized in a guilty tone.
"It's okay Penny, like I said before, I forgive you" I smiled softly.
"But anyway, students do tend to get shy from speaking their mind to their teachers, after all...much more so when faced with the director of the academy"
"Yeah but...I don't know where to even start, but wasn't that outfit a bit much?"
"I actually agree with Penny on that" I chuckled nervously.
"And I had some big feelings about that wig"
"Huh, what does she mean by that?" I wondered in confusion.
"Ahem" Mr Clavell cleared his throat and to my confusion, he turned to the doors.
"Everyone, why don't you come out"
We both looked the same way and to our surprise it was...all the bosses of team star.
