As the bell rang, the classmates dispersed, and everybody went to the canteen for the lunch break.
In the canteen:
Students lined up for their meals, discussing study strategies and sharing notes. While Rose got an idea about group study.
Rose: (excitedly) "How about we do group study like always? We can quiz each other and make sure we've got everything covered."
Yujin: (nodding) "That sounds good. But I am out. Group studies are not my cup of tea."
Y/n: "Oh, come on, Yujin, trust me. You will not regret it."
Yujin: "Okay then. If you say so, I will join."
Jay: "Count me in. I could use a different perspective on these topics."
Jake: (smirking) "Group study, huh? Well, this time I can't promise that I won't crack jokes. But I can help you all in languages as always."
Y/n: "So, where are we all meeting then?"
Rose: "You can come to my house; my parents are going out tomorrow, so we can study in silence."
Jake: "No, come to my house. My mom will cook something delicious for us."
Rose: (grinning) "Oh, come on, Mr. Grammar, I'm not sure the walls of your house can handle the intellectual powers of me."
Jake: (mockingly offended) "Well, Rose, my house has seen its fair share of brainpower. Besides, you are a non-brainer, so it is safe to come to my house."
Rose: (offended) "How dare you call me a non-brainer. You know what, the problem is not your house; it's you. It's better if you don't come, at least we don't get to hear your lame jokes."
Rose stands up to move towards Jake with her chopstick, but Y/n and Yunjin hold her.
Jake: (grinning) "Well, Rose, maybe my jokes will make studying more memorable. Who needs textbooks when you've got comedic genius?"
Yujin: (sarcastically) "Great, so I'll be laughing my way through failure."
Jay: (laughing) "Come on, Yujin, a little humor won't hurt. Plus, we can use Jake's jokes as memory aids."
Jake: (nodding) "See, Jay gets it. My jokes are educational."
Y/n: (raising an eyebrow) "I'm not sure if I'm ready for the educational value of Jake's jokes."
Yujin: (rolling eyes) "As long as the jokes don't become the main attraction, I'm fine with it."
Jay: (laughing) "I'm with Yujin on this one. Let's keep the focus on studying, Jake."
Jake: (dramatically) "What? No love for my humor? I'm wounded."
Rose: (serious) "So, Mr. Grammar, we'll consider your house as the backup plan. But my place has to be the first choice."
Jake: (dramatically) "Oh, the rejection! Fine, I accept my defeat."
Y/n: (interrupting Jake) "Alright, alright. Let's focus on the study plan. Are we doing a specific subject tomorrow?"
Jay: (thinking) "How about we start with physics? I could use some help with those equations."
Yujin: (raising an eyebrow) "Physics? Really, Jay? You're making me reconsider my decision to join this study group."
Jake: (teasingly) "Yujin, don't worry. I'll make sure to add a touch of poetry to the equations, just for you."
Yujin: (sarcastically) "Oh, God. I just can't wait for that poetic interpretation of Newton's laws."
Rose: (trying to bring everyone back on track) "Alright, let's finalize the plan. Tomorrow, physics, and History at my place?"
Jay: (nodding) "Works for me. I guess we can brush up on Math too."
Y/n: "You are right; we have English on Monday. So on Sunday, we can prepare for English. While tomorrow, we can go through difficult subjects, so we will get time to revise before exams."
Yunjin: (sarcastically) "So you all think my brain can handle 3 subjects in one day and will be able to store it there for 4 days? Woah, so great of you."
Jay: (patting her back) "Don't worry; I will tell you some tricks tomorrow. I promise you will not forget a word."
Yunjin just gave a smile because it was not easy for her to believe Jay's words.
After lunch, they went to their class, and after school, everyone sought permission for group study at Rose's house from their parents. As for you, you asked your brothers.
At Y/n's House,
Y/n: (approaching towards Namjoon) "Oppa, I was thinking of having a group study at Rose's house tomorrow. Is that okay?"
Namjoon: (concerned) "Group study, huh? Who's going to be there?"
Y/n: "It's just Rose, Jake, Jay, and Yunjin."
Namjoon: (nodding) "Alright, just be careful, okay? Make sure you focus, and come back before dinner time."
Y/n: "Alright, I promise. Thanks!"
Meanwhile, Rose with her parents,
Rose: (excited) "Mom, Dad, can we have a group study at our place tomorrow? It's for the upcoming exams, and Y/n and the others will be there."
Mom: "Of course, sweetheart. Just make sure everyone is focused on studying, and if they need anything, let me know."
Dad: (smirking) "No loud music or dance parties, okay? We don't want our house turning into a concert hall."
Rose: (rolling her eyes) "Dad, it's a study session, not a party. I'll make sure everyone behaves."
At Jay's house,
Jay: "Mom, I have a group study at Rose's house tomorrow. Everyone is going to be there."
Jay's Mom: (skeptical) "Group study, huh? No mischief with Jake, Your studies come first."
Jay: "I promise, Mom. It's all about studying. No mischief whatsoever."
At Jake's house,
Jake: (casually) "Hey, Dad, we're planning a group study session at Rose's place tomorrow. Is it cool if I go?"
Dad: "Group study, eh? Just don't forget you're there to study, not to goof off."
Jake: "Dad, studying is my middle name."
Dad: (smirking) "Funny, I thought it was 'Troublemaker.' Just behave, alright?"
Jake: "Absolutely, Dad. I will focus on studies not on mischiefs."
Lastly, At Yujin house,
Yujin: "Mom, we're planning a group study at Rose's tomorrow. Can I go?"
Mom: "Group study sounds responsible. Are you sure you will be able to study there? You know right your score is too low"
Yujin: "I promise, Mom. We will be studying there also everyone promised me to help to study."
Mom: (sigh) "Okay then, Just make sure you're actually studying and not just socializing."
After getting permission from their parents everyone called each other and made plan of meeting at Rose house at 10 am.
