Maddies POV:
I get to my dads house, he doesn't know I'm coming. I knock on the door in tears. The last person I wanna see opens the door.
Luca: Maddie, hey.
Maddie: is my dad home?
Luca: yeah he's inside
I storm past him, dump my bags in the hallway and go look for him.
Michael: sweetheart, what are you doing here?
Maddie: I needed you.
I collapse on the sofa and start balling my eyes out.
Michael: honey, what happened?
Maddie: Leah thinks I'm cheating on her.
Michael: she wh- are you?
Maddie: no of course not. She doesn't trust me dad. How can I marry someone that doesn't trust me.
Michael: tell me what happened.
I tell him everything.
Michael: oh sweetheart, come here.
He pulls me into a hug. I cry on his shoulder when mum walks in. He tells her to leave it for now.
Maddie: what do I do dad?
Michael: it sounds like she is just insecure to me darling.
Maddie: really?
Michael: of course she trusts you, she just can't bare to lose you, so she is pushing you away.
Maddie: you think so?
Michael: your mother did it with me. But I stayed, because she thought I could do better, but I didn't want anyone but her.
Maddie: I don't want my life to be without Leah.
Michael: then talk to her, you can't just run from these things, that's where it all goes wrong.
Maddie: should I go home?
Michael: call her, just call her.
Maddie: okay, thanks dad.
He stands up, kisses my head and walks out of the room.
I call Leah, she answers straight away.
Leah: h-hey.
Maddie: hi
Leah: baby just let me explain okay my love?
My heart melts every time she calls me that.
Maddie: okay.
Leah: I love you, I love you so much that this is killing me. I trust you, I trust you with my life. I just don't want to lose you, and I know that sounds stupid, but you could do so much better than me.
Maddie: I don't want anyone else, I couldn't do that to you, because you're my soulmate. It's okay.
Leah: it's okay?
Maddie: yeah, I love you, you just have to talk to me about things, I love you.
Leah: I will, I will, I love you so much.
Maddie: I love you fiancée.
Leah: please come home.
Maddie: I'm going to stay here for the night, but I'll come home in the morning okay?
Leah: definitely?
Maddie: definitely.
Leah: okay baby, I love you.
Maddie: I love you too babe.
The phone call ends and I lay back on the sofa for a few minutes before heading to the kitchen.
Michael: everything okay?
Maddie: yeah
Louise: good, are you staying for dinner?
Maddie: yeah I'm going to go back tomorrow.
Michael: okay darling.
The next day I drive home. Leah is waiting for me with Bruno in the window. I smile as I get out of the car.
I get my bags and head to the front door which is already open with Leah waiting for me with open arms.
Leah: I'm so sorry baby.
Maddie: I'm sorry too. I shouldn't have ran.
Leah pulls me into a hug and kisses the top of my head.
Leah: I love you.
Maddie: I love you.
Over the next week Leah and I talk about the wedding. How we want a small one, closest friends and family, nothing too big. We decide to go out a few days before we are due back in training with all the Arsenal girls and a few of the lads.
We are out clubbing in London.

We are both a bit drunk when I head up to the bar whilst Leah dances with a few of the girls.
I order our drinks when someone comes up to me.
Dan: hey beautiful, I'm Dan.
Maddie: and I have a fiancée.
Dan: where is he? I don't see him
Maddie: she is over there.
Dan: she?
Maddie: yeah.
Dan: I can guarantee you'll have a better time with me.
Maddie: no thanks.
I turn back around towards the bar and wait for my drinks.
Dan: come on, don't be boring.
He starts touching me everywhere. I try and push him off me but I can't.
Maddie: get off me!
Dan: come with me.
He's too strong. He pulls me to the toilets and pins me against a wall in one of the stalls.
Dan: told you you'd have a better time with me.
Maddie: get off me!
He's too strong. He's way too strong. I've had too much to drink to push him off me. Why is no one helping me?
Leah's POV:
Leah: does anyone know where Maddie went?
Jen: she went to get drinks, she'll be at the bar.
I look around for her, it's not that busy so I can see everyone at the bar.
Leah: no she's not there.
Jen: toilet maybe?
Leah: I'll go and look for her.
I leave the group and head to the bathroom.
Leah: Babe? You in here?
There's no response. The music is too loud for me to hear anything.
Leah: Maddie?
Still nothing.
I walk back out to the group.
Leah: she's not there.
Aaron (Ramsdale): I'll look around for her, she can't have gone far.
Declan (Rice): I'll come with you.
Aaron's POV:
Me and Dec are walking around the club looking for Maddie. Still no sign, until I notice something shifty. A lad has come out of the ladies toilets with a smirk on his face. I don't like this.
Aaron: Dec. Ladies, now.
He follows me in.
Aaron: Maddie? It's Aaron and Dec. Are you in here?
Maddie: he-help.
I look at Dec and he looks panicked.
I break the door down that she's in. She's curled up in a ball, half naked and in shock.
We go in and shut the door.
Aaron: wh-what happened Mads?
I help her get dressed.
Maddie: h-he he rap-rap-ed m-me.
I look at Dec.
Aaron: stay here. Both of you.
I run out of the ladies and find the guy. He's talking to a girl at the bar. I see red and charge towards him.
Dan: woahhhh what do you want?!
I grab him by his shirt and slam him against a wall.
Aaron: what the fuck?!
Dan: what?!
Aaron: you get a kick out of doing that to people eh?!
Dan: oh trust me, she wanted it.
He smirks at me.
I slam him against the wall again.
Aaron: you fucking what?!
Dan: you heard me.
I punch him, I punch him so hard he falls to the ground.
Dan: fight me, I dare you.
He swings for me but I dodge him and punch him again.
Aaron: you're sick! You're a fucking sick little prick. Get the fuck out of here!
Security is swarming us. Luckily, I know the owner, they swarm the guy and hold him away from me.
I walk away towards the toilets to make sure she's okay.
I go back in and Dec is hugging her whilst she cries.
Maddie: ple-please don't tell le-Leah. She'll ha-hate me.
Aaron: she won't mads, she won't.
Dec: come on, let's get you out of here.
Me and Dec walk Maddie out of the toilets. The guy is still surrounded by security and the police.
Dan: he hit me!
I hear him say as we walk past.
Dan: you're a little bitch you know that Maddie! You're a bitch!
I turn around and almost hit him again but Martin (Ødegaard) holds me back.
Martin: don't. Get her to Leah.
I just nod and walk her to the door.
Dec goes to get Leah.
Decs POV:
I got Maddie outside, now I'm trying to find Leah. She's sat with a few of the girls.
Dec: Leah.
Leah: you find her?
Dec: yeah, come with me.
Leah: is she okay?
Dec: no.
Leah rushes to the door with me. Aaron and her and sat on the floor, against the wall, he's got his arm around her shoulders and she's crying into his chest.
Leah: wh-what's going on? Babe? Are you okay?
She sits next to her and she cuddles into her.
Maddie: I'm sorry babe, I'm sorry.
Leah: for what beautiful?
Maddie: I che-cheated on you.
Leah: you what?!
Leah stands up instantly.
Leah: you cheated on me?! With who?!
Dec: give her time to explain Leah.
Leah: NO! You're my fiancée Maddie! My future wife and you cheat on me?!
Maddie: it wasn't like that, please just let me fini-
Leah: NO! I've heard enough! We are done Maddie, over!
Leah walks off back into the club and Maddie starts crying more.
Maddie: what have I done?
Aaron: come on, let's get you home, she'll calm down okay?
Maddie: she's the love of my life Aaron.
Aaron: I know, and you're hers, we will sort it, come on.
Aaron gets her in a taxi back to his and I go with them, I'll talk to Leah in the morning, right now we need to make sure Maddie is okay.
Maddies POV:
The next morning, I didn't sleep. I showered 3 times but I can still feel his breath, his smell all over me. I shower again and again and again and it still doesn't work. I get a knock on the door.
Aaron: mads? Can I come in?
I say yes and he walks in.
Aaron: morning.
Maddie: ye-yeah.
Aaron: has leah spoken to you?
I just shake my head.
Aaron: you need to talk to her.
Maddie: I've tried, she's blocked me on everything.
Aaron: oh Maddie.
Next minute I'm getting a phone call. It's Amanda.
Maddie: one sec Aaron.
I pick up.
Maddie: he-hey.
Amanda: hey sweetie, how are you?
Maddie: not so good.
Amanda: what happened? Leah rang me at 4am saying that you cheated on her.
Maddie: I- erm.
Amanda: I don't believe you did, for one second. Can I come round? We can talk?
Maddie: I'm at Aaron's.
Amanda: come to mine darling or I can come to you.
Maddie: I'll come to you.
Amanda: are you sure?
Maddie: yeah.
Amanda: okay, I'll see you soon.
The call ends and I explain to Aaron.
Aaron: I'll take you, come on.
Aaron drives me to Amanda's. I knock on the door to be met with my fiancées mother.
I just burst out crying.
Amanda: oh darling, come in.
She sits me on the sofa and gets me a coffee.
Amanda: what happened?
I explain everything to Amanda.
Amanda: oh darling. I'm so sorry.
She pulls me into a hug whilst I'm still crying. Jacob comes downstairs but Amanda ushers him away.
Jacob's POV:
I've gone back upstairs after mum shooed me away. I call Leah.
Leah: what?
Jacob: Maddie is at ours.
Leah: what? Why?
Jacob: she was raped Leah. I heard the whole conversation with mum and her. She's in bits.
Leah: sh-she was wh-what?
Jacob: you heard me. Where are you?
Leah: at home. Beth and Viv took me home last night. Is she okay?
Jacob: what do you think?
Leah: I'm on my way.
Leah's POV:
I'm rushing around trying to get dressed. Bruno is kicking off because I'm rushing around.
Leah: I'm bringing mummy home, don't you worry.
I get in my car and drive to mums. I burst into the house and see mum hugging Maddie whilst she's crying.
Mum looks at me and I take her place. I hug her so tightly.
Maddie: le?
Leah: it's me babe, I'm here.
Maddie: I- I
Leah: it's okay, I know. I'm sorry I didn't let you explain. I love you.
Maddie: so it's not over?
Leah: me and you will never be over. Ive got you.
She tucks into me and falls asleep.
I kiss her forehead over and over. I can't believe I thought she'd ever do that to me. My girl, my fiancée.
Maddies POV:
I wake up on Amanda's sofa. I hear chatting in the kitchen. I walk in, Leah is sat there with her mum and dad.
Leah: morning sleepy head.
Maddie: what time is it?
David: 4pm. You slept for 8 hours.
I just nod and sit down next to Leah.
Leah: how are you?
Maddie: I don't know.
Amanda: that's okay honey, you've been through a lot.
I don't say anything. Tears start forming again. Amanda and David walk out of the kitchen and Leah holds my hands.
Leah: baby?
I nod.
Leah: I'm so so sorry i didn't protect you.
Maddie: you didn't know.
Leah: but I should have.
Maddie: it's done now, let's just forget about it.
Leah: my love? We can't just forget about it.
Maddie: why not?
Leah: because we just cant. I spoke to Aaron and Dec. They told me everything. It's too big just to push to the side.
Maddie: can I try?
Leah: babe.
Maddie: all I can see, all I can feel is him. I feel gross, I feel sick.
Leah: and that's why we can't forget about it. You need to get help.
Maddie: but-but
Leah: baby, please.
I look at Leah, the desperation in her face for me to get help is overwhelming. I nod.
Maddie: o-okay.
Leah: okay?
Maddie: ye-yeah, okay.
Leah: okay. Come on, let's get you home okay?
I nod whilst Leah kisses my forehead.
After saying bye to Amanda and David we head home. Bruno is waiting for us in the window. I head inside and Bruno is all excited until I ignore him, he starts whining. I sit on the sofa and he jumps up and puts his head in my lap. I kiss his head and start crying a little bit. I feel stupid for crying so much but it hurts. My whole body aches that this has happened.
Leah walks out of the kitchen and sees Bruno and I. She sits next to me and I put my head on her shoulder.
Leah: it's going to be okay babe, I know it. I love you.
Maddie: I love you more than anything.
